Who would've thought flipping tables was harder than flipping pancakes? What's up with that!
Apparently, despite how gentle he tried to be, the fact he struck three of the little creatures didn't bode well with the ghoul behind the booth. Still empty handed, he gave a slightly sheepish bow of his head as he offered the mallet back and stepped away.
Hopefully, the paper table would go better. Carefully folding it, as though making an uneven crease would cost him the win in itself, he set up the small makeshift table before flicking it forward on the booth.

With her shiny new visitor's pass around her neck, Ys edged over to the mesmerizing booth swathed in pink ribbons and sparkles. The sounds of the players and the unusual critters in the race had immediately attracted her attention. She fiddled with her pass nervously in green scaled hands, eyes darting back and forth to the different folk around the booth as she tried to take in everything at once.
She was literally out of her element, but she was excited, ready for adventure. Or fun and games, whichever the day had to offer. A toothy smile spread across her face as she watched the others having fun and she sidled closer to try her luck at a game and maybe make some friends in the process. The sights and sounds of the fair-type atmosphere were quite contagious, and she found herself bouncing up and down, the water in her helm sloshing with the motion.

It appeared that Yuki wasn't having any luck today with games.
Oh well, they were still fun to play.
With his playing done, he quietly stepped away from the booth and on to explore elsewhere.

There may be many fish in the sea, but Desu-chan's the only one for me ♥
AH! His cat had won! Alright, so maybe they weren't SO horrible, those little rainbow critters. At least it seemed his luck at race-betting was better than his aim currently. Feeling a bit better about himself as Christof stuffed the candy into his vest pocket, he moved along to the fishing stand.
He glanced around over his hunch, looking for any sign of distraction- last time he had been startled while making his fishing attempt. No, coast was clear. No smiling Cats or Chatty Cadies. He was in the clear.
Stitched Lips pursed in concentration, he took the little net and gave it a shot...

This isn't funny, the life of a bunny is at stake! What do you mean they're not alive?
Fishing apparently was NOT the Igor's strong point. With a sigh, he tossed the ruined little net before slouching to the next game and... aaaaah this was the one he had been looking forward to. As the cute, glistening button eyes all stared up at him with glazed joy with the universe, Christof's grip on the mallet tightened. Yes, it was time to smash some bunnies.

One after another Christof slammed the mallet down, but somehow those horrible little adorable creatures managed to mostly evade his blows. HURRR NO! Frustrated, he shoved the mallet back into place before storming to the next game... which he had never noticed or played before. Huh!
He crouched by the table, watching everyone else flip their tiny tables before someone pushed a piece of origami paper his way. Clumsily, he managed to fold one like the others, brows knit in concentration before giving it a good hard flick...

Desu-chan, you're not hiding puppies in those teacups, are you?
After observing some of the others at play, Ys decided to try her luck at the landwalker games. She picked up a sugar cube and after examining the funny sparkling thing, she hefted it at the teacup tower. She probably would have eaten it if she hadn't been restricted by the helm, which wouldn't have won her a thing of course, but would have been delicious. She was aiming for the green one, but who knew where the thing would actually land? Hopefully she wouldn't knock down the tower or... bounce a sugar cube on to some unsuspecting bystander. That would be funny awkward.

I'M SPINNING THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE~ OR IS IT SPINNING ME Attempting to flip a stupid tiny paper table was not as gratifying as flipping an entire table- and he was tempted to flip the table they all played on right then and there.
But like a good Igor, he simple offered out the single candy those funny little rainbow treat cats had won him, trying his hardest to not look as enraged as he felt.
He needed to find something else to take his aggression out on. The pink was making him nauseous.

As the sugar cube clinked off the red teacup and sailed into... somewhere, Ys giggled at her poor aim and shrugged it off. Maybe next time she'd do a little better. Still caught up in the festive atmosphere, she eyed the student who had just finished playing the whack-a-critter game. The little bunny things didn't look like they needed whacking unless it was time for eating them, but perhaps she simply didn't understand this particular custom. As the other student moved on, she slipped over and gingerly picked up the mallet. Noting the look on the booth owner's face each time someone got too close to one of the little critters, she decided to spare them if she could manage it. Of course, there was always the element of luck to these things, she she held back on her hits with the mallet. "Look out leetle thingssss," she muttered as the game began.

With more bunnies getting by unscathed than not, it was a success! Ys grinned toothily (not exactly a sight for the faint of heart) and set down the mallet, proud of her efforts. Hopefully the other two critters hadn't fared too badly. "Thanksss for the game," she sketched a small bow to the owner as she edged over to another game that had caught her eye. Fish were something familiar, even if these particular fish were a bit different. She eagerly peered into the water, net in hand, hoping to snag something interesting.

"Rrrr..." The sound was reminiscent of an, "aww," out of a human, but caused a tiny stream of bubbles in her helm. Ys set down the net and watched the diverse fishes lurk about in the water for a few more minutes. "Next time, friendsss," she whispered before sauntering over to the next game. It wasn't too busy at the moment, but maybe there would be more students about when she took her turns tomorrow. "Table flip?" She cocked her head and approached the game. This was something entirely novel to her, but that's what this was all about. Once her paper table was carefully crafted, however inexpertly, she gave it a whirl.

Form a contract with me and magically win this race! OwO
Having demonstrated her prowess at tableflipping (or lack thereof), Ys moved over to the remaining game. These nyan-cat creatures were bizarre and interesting, and she eyed them with a mixture of curiosity and confusion. Were they food? Pets? ...Both? It seemed a shame to eat something so entertaining. She looked over the information on the entrants and decided on a favorite to cheer for. "A raccce? I love racccesss!" She clapped excitedly as her chosen nyan-cat took off in a blast of poptarty speed. Win or lose, this was fun!

Astra had completely forgotten about being a guide for yuki at the moment, being to distracted and interested in the games that were at this booth. She had watched others for a while, and now she wanted to try her luck at the games again.
Picking up a sugar lump, she took aim at the cups again and threw hoping she wouldn't miss this time.

Frowning as her sugar lump missed the teacups and landed on the floor, she went to go play the nyan cat races again. She had picked a winner last time, hopefully she could pick another winner this time too. She looked at each nyan cat until she spotted one that caught her interest. "I'll pick this one!" she declared.

Astra cheered once the butter-tan had crossed the finished line, and hoped that now it wouldn't look so sad now that it had won the race. She picked up her candy, then went off to the next game
The next game, was a fishing one apparently. She looked at all the fish that were in the tank, amazed at the variety there. She picked up a fishing rod, lowered it into the tank and waited to catch something
