As soon the sand had cleared Takara looked around expecting the lycans to attack for that was the last thing she saw were snapping jaws coming towards her...."What is going on here, where are we?" she asked as she turned around and saw Kouchi and an apeman.

The apeman smiled at her before talking to Kouchi. "She always this fiesty?" he asked with a wink. Kouchi rolled his eyes at the suggestion.
"Not now, Orion." He looked up quickly as the sound of lycans grew louder. "I think we should get out of here now."

Glaring at the apeman, she turned when she heard the lycans not too far from where they were. Seeing the boat not too far from where they were, she said to Kouchi, "Well, im not going to stick around here...Im heading to the boat and getting off this Isle..Are you coming along?"

Kouchi nodded as he followed her to the boats. "My business here is done. I found him, now lets get off of this forsaken island." He looked back over at Orion. "You coming or what?"
The young apeman jumped up slightly and ran to the boats.

Hearing Kouchi, she headed to the boat. Seeing Runa, Kang, and also Sojiro, she paused for she thought they all were together and they were heading off this unforsaken Isle.
"Alright Kouchi, are you going to shove us off this time or should I do it?" she asked smirking for she remembered the last time they were in this situation.

Kouchi didn't answer as he and Orion ran up to the boat and started to push it off into the water. Orion jumped in and Kouchi soon followed. He took his bo from his back and jammed it into the seafloor, hoping to give them a short burst of speed off from the beach. Soon, the boat was floating away from the island. Kouchi sheathed his bo and sat down in the boat.

Sitting in the boat, Takara looked around at the others. Smiling and breathing deeply, she was sitting beside Runa and lightly placed her hand upon her friend's shoulder.."Runa its me...we made it back." she whispered and then smiled at Kouchi and lipped out the words, "Thank you.... for saving me."

Kouchi looked over at her and gave a soft smile. He laid his head back and closed his eyes, allowing the boat to drift on the open water of the sea. They'd eventually make it back to the mainland, though he didn't know exactly where they would land at.
".....Are we there yet?"

Sojiro heaved a sigh of relief as they drifted away from the Isle of pain.
"It seems that the nightmare is over."
Sojiro unsheathed his sword and let it slide against the water, washing away the blood of the lycans and the memory of this pain...

As they sailed off to the mainland, Takara knew that this wasnt going to be the end..that the lycans were going to be coming with a vengence. Sighing she looked over at Kouchi and saw that he had drifted off to sleep, and then thinking to herself, "That seems like a good idea that Kouchi has." slowly closed her eyes and hoping that her dreams will come to mind and give her peace and contentment once again. That's when she realized that Chan wasn't on the boat with them..looking around all she could see was nothing but water surrounding them. Closing her eyes she heard Chan's voice within her mind. Quote: Chan then used his mind to speak to Takara while telaporting,"Stay in the forest i will go to the city and get the children." Being so upset with herself that they had left Chan behind during the rush of taking off, the only thing she could say within her mind was, "Im so sorry Chan, didnt mean to leave you behind for I thought you were here with Runa and Kang." As he finally freed himself from his icy shell, he stood there with a disgruntled look upon his face. Neither satisfied nor contempt, Jian placed the spear upon his shoulder and began to head back towards where he sensed Kang.
"This is not the angel I am looking for..." Jian softly muttered to himself; placing a cigarette between his lips. "...Where is he...? I need to find him...I need end this dogged pursuit...Pisses me off..."
Lighting it; the smoke slowly rose in the moonlit sky. In doing so, Jian looked up and sighed heavily; a cloud of smoke filled the air around him. "........." He stopped; head held low. "...Heh..."
Laying upon the deck of the ship, I slowly bobbed with the wading of the waters. Still and softly breathing, I began to think deeply. My mind active, yet my body still. "Jian...You son-of-a-b***h...Striking down these creatures...Killing them out of your so-called 'insanity'...Pathetic excuse for a demon...And Chan...why did you stop them...? It is their right to take their hatred upon me. I am responsible for their death...Though Jian created me, I am responsible for him...He is my burden."

Hearing their words echo throughout my mind, I continued to lay still. Wanting to speak, I could not. Wanting to move, I could not. All I could do...was continue to think.
"Back to the mainland...? Away from this damned island...? No...I cannot leave just yet! I need to find Jian. He still holds onto my spear; I cannot leave yet! Damn it all!! No matter...I will eventually find him...Or rather...he will find me..."

I remained my quiet my face still as we sailed to the mainland. I took Kang's hand in mine once more as I thought about what we had been through. Hearing Takara and feeling her hand upon my shoulder I smiled softly and said, "I'm glad". Now....Now we can go....home.

Shifty, one of the lycans, swam up to the ship and climbed up and hung on the side, hoping no one would look over the side.
