Metal growled, lifting his head back into the air.
Rouge, with slight difficulty, flew up to the robotic dragon's head. She kept her distance, not wanting to be whacked from the sky like a bug. "Uhm....Is this close enough?" She asked nervously, already knowing the answer was 'No.'

Justin shook his head. He then had an insane idea. "Rouge, throw me!" He told her.

"THROW you?! Are you as much of a nutcase as Shadow?!"
"Just do what he says, Rouge!" yelled Shadow.
"No! What if I missed and he got eaten?"
"Then it sucks for him, but it'll still get ice into Metal's system!"

Shadow took out his handgun, shooting the gem with his last bullet. "NOW, WHILE HE'S VULNERABLE!" He yelled as Metal lowered his head a bit from pain.
"But-" "JUST THROW THE DAMN KID!" Unwillingly, Rouge grabbed the back of Justin's shirt and threw him at Metal. Either Justin'd fall on his feet, or just on his leg. Whichever. he'd land somewhere near Shadow on the dragon's head.

Justin landed on his feet, then made his way to the Lotus Gem on Metal's forehead. He then pulled out Cerberus again, the weapon glowing with a chilling aura. "THIS IS IT!" He yelled, slamming the nunchaku right into the gem. Massive ice crystals formed, impaling the metal beast's head, along with the gem.

Metal roared in agony, and in complete and utter anger. He backed up(which was pretty much backing off the edge, I might add).
Shadow looked at Justin. "We have to jump." He said. "Unless you want to fall seven hundred feet down to Earth."
"I'll catch you!" volunteered Rouge.

Justin nodded, putting his weapon away and jumping towards Rouge.

Rouge caught him by the arm. "Shadow, you next!"
Shadow nodded. He looked back at the gem, which was still intact, and ran over to it.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"
Shadow picked it up, putting it in his pocket, then sprinted to the edge of Metal's head. The dragon tipped over the side of the flagship, falling. Shadow made a leap for it.
Rouge flew over, reaching out her hand to grab him-
"OH NO YOU DON'T!" Metal's tail shot up from the clouds, smacking Shadow down. It vanished off the side of the ship, and so did Shadow.
(NOOOOOO! Wait....Metal's gone? Really? FINALLY?! OMG YES! FINALLY! WHOOOOOOT!)

Justin couldn't help but feel bad for Shadow. Well, mostly for Luna, since her boyfriend turned traitor for a while, then just got wasted by a robot dragon thing.

Silent, Rouge flew down to the others, dropping Justin and landing herself.
Luna was just kind of staring at the place where Shadow and Metal fell off the edge.
"Did anyone else just have deja vu....?" asked Tails quietly. "Y'know, Shadow falling to Earth after fighting a big lizard thing....?
Sonic sat up. "Ughhh...Where's Metal?" It wasn't hard to miss that a giant blue robotic dragon had vanished.
"Fell off the edge." Rouge said, looking at the ground.
"Well...now that we're all safe and good...." Knuckles rubbed his head, forcing himself to sit up as well. "Where's Shadow? I'm gon'na kill him for turning on us a third time."
"Fell of the edge." Rouge repeated, closing her eyes.

Justin felt the damage he'd taken before catch up with him. He then fell over, dangerously weak, and passed out again.

(Where'd Dante go? Magically disappeared again, did he? xD)
"Oh......Well......uh......this is awkward." Knuckles mumbled, getting to his feet.
"But....Shadow's survived a fall bigger then that, right...? So....He can live through this one too." Luna said slowly.
"Maybe. But hey, even if for some reason he didn't...you know.....make it, he'd want us to suck it up and go on with life, right?" Sonic said, standing.
"Exactly. So, anyway, what happened to sundae dude?"

"Over here!" Dante called out to the others, standing near where the tower once stood. "And the name's Dante!" He added. He then walked over to Justin. "He sure saved our asses, he did. Too bad he almost got himself killed. He used a LOT of power, and went into Devil Trigger, and he's only had his powers for a few days! That's impressive." He said to no one in particular.

"You're right. Thanks Rouge!"
They laughed.
Sonic crossed his arms. "Hmph."
"So....Now what? Shadow, Espio, and Metal are...y'know....gone. What's left to do?"
