Lena
After trying to cast bombarda at least fifteen times and failing to do so, Lena walked back to her desk and sat down. She got out her D.A.D.A book and searched for a chapter on bombarda. She read to see if she had been doing anything wrong or misundertood but didn’t notice anything different to what she had been doing. She had the right incantation, the right arm movement, she was doing everything like it said in the book.
Lena walked back to place where the pillow lay, full of holes and emptied of all feathers. Reparo! She said, pointing her wand at the pillow. The pillows stuffed itself back with it’s feathers and the holes sealed themselves so that the pillow became as good as new. Alright. Come on, Lena. You can do it. She told herself. Lena pointed her wand at the pillow and said in a determined tone. Bombarda! A tiny explosion was produced inside the pillow and so the outside of the pillow burst and a few feather were sent into the air. Yes! She said, smiling to herself. Even tho the explosion had been tiny, there had been an improvement, and she had almost cast the spell correctly. Lena then put the pillow back together using reparo. She pointed her wand at the pillow once more and loudly spoke the incantation. Bombarda! This time, to her great delight, the pillow exploded with a pouf! Feathers were sent over six feet in every direction from the place the pillow had been. I got it! I did it!
She looked at the mess and smiled broadly. She repaired the pillow yet again and recast the spell. She succeeded once again, and then another time and another. Soon she had correctly cast the spell over ten times in a row. When she had performed it about fifteen times, she walked over to her desk and sat back down. She had heard of a more powerful version of the spell and decided to check in her D.A.D.A book to see if it was there. She found the spell bombarda maxima, which was a stronger version of the spell and read the information about it. When she was done reading she walked over to Professor Reynolds. Professor? I was wondering.. Since I’ve learn how to cast bombarda, can I try bombarda maxima?

I turned my head when I heard Lena call out to me asking if she could try another spell, I went to turn back around to tell Eriena to wait a moment. I never got the chance this time her spell was on target and smacked me square in the jaw. I felt my tongue instantly stick itself to the roof of my mouth, making what I was trying to tell Eriena sound like a garbled mess not even remotely English sounding. I gave her a smile and a nod before bring my wand up to my face and casting Finite non-verbally.
Once my tongue was no longer attached to the roof of my mouth I said, ”Very good Eriena I knew you had that in you.” turning toward Lena I said, ”and yes Lena you may attempt the more powerful form of Bombarda. Do take care as it can cause quite an explosion.” My tongue still had a funny sensation; it felt all gummy guess another added side effect of the spell to even further distract an opponent.

Gryffinclaw Quidditch Captain Sparrow stood in the same spot again and said, "Alright whenever you're ready then." Sparrow thought if she would be any good at dueling. She was good at spells but the pressure might mess her up and she figured some day she would try maybe fifth her she thought. She then returned her thoughts to the task at hand and prepared to be hit by the spell. Harmony Trumarie...
Harmony pointed her wand at Sparrow, she stared at the girl for a couple of seconds. Harmony's barrette fell out of place as she made the forward stabbing wrist movement for the jinx. "Flipendo!

And Seeker Sparrow was hit by the spell in a more prepared state of mind this time. The effects were greater than before and she flew backwards and ending up with her back against the wall. She stood up and noticed her head hurt a little, but overall she was still fine. She walked back over to Harmony and said, "Well done!" Sparrow then wondered what next.

Harmony nodded at her partner, Sparrow, her lips were pulled into a grin as the Gryffindor walked over to her. "Thank you, you make a great test dummy." Her tone was slightly warm, as she teased the girl in a friendly way.
