Doesn't the Intellect count as part of the design? Dass why we made Tools and s**t to help wit de Hunting, eh?

True, but I think the tools hindered us as self-sufficient beings more than helped us. Everything we can do now with the help of technology, we could do before with our own two hands, and the majority of the things that are automated for us now, we no longer know how to do for ourselves, or we no longer have permission to do if we don't fork over enough fancy pieces of printed paper to a perceived higher authority.

rolleyes It's a sad state of affairs; we went from scavengers to inventors to beggars.

Until the beggars finally decide enough is enough and throw down the "perceived higher authority." Really, you ******** the masses over enough, eventually the masses get pissed. It's how revolutions and uprisings start.

I think I finally understand why Ganondorf doesn't want to hang around a colony comprised entirely of beautiful women who worship him all the time. It's probably less of a constant sex-fest and more of a constant nagging-him-to-fix-things-fest. At least when he kidnaps a broad, she's nowhere near comfortable enough to ask him to fix the roof or clean out the ******** shower drain after he's done.
