After another moment, Alek kissed Ceri gently. "Well... if you ever want to... just tell me."
"Sweetie, I won't let anything happen to you." Val kissed his cheek, then his lips. "I'm all the defense you need. But if you'll feel better with a weapon, I understand. Blacksmith it is."
When Angel was pushed out, she whimpered softly as she saw her sister and hid behind Mala's legs. She'd been bad and there was nothing she feared more than her sister's punishment.

((Oh J-pop....Your choice of lyrics will never cease to amuse me sometimes...I always forget I have a song on my ipod that is filled with a groovy beat and the phrase 'strawberry sex' until it starts playing. It's just so silly and fun you can't help but smile and dance to it. XD ))
"If we ever have another drinking contest again, let's just make the loser pay, 'kay?" Riley said as he exited the room and noticed the mark on Van's neck. "What happened to your neck? You fall out of bed or something?" he said leaning in a bit to get a better look.
Van just looked to Mala and shrugged in a 'gonna happen eventually' manner before looking back at Riley and flatly stating with a perfectly straight face "We had crazy drunken sex last night."
Riley's brain seemed to break down as he rubbed the bridge of his nose. "I....I'm sorry, I think my hangover is still lingering and must be making me hear things, did you just say you had crazy drunken sex last night...?"

Ceri blushed. She then broke away to drink her water. She listened to everyone coming down the stairs. She thought to herself, I'll tell him tonight....Everyone will be tired and still hung over from last night...She blushed in her cup.

"Yes, he did. We had crazy drunken sex last night." Mala said, barely able to keep a straight face as she said this. One hand instinctively reached over to gently grab Van's hand, which if Riley noticed, might've made the moment quite a bit stranger.

((Yes. Listen and love. XD )) Riley saw the hand holding and looked back up at the two in surprise. He looked back and forth between the two as if it came from nowhere. "How....how did you two go from 'crazy drunken sex' to 'couple of the year'??""You'd be surprised what comes up in conversation after crazy drunken sex takes place." Van said, still managing to maintain a straight face despite how often the phrase 'crazy drunken sex' was getting thrown around. "At least you can't tease like a five year old anymore."((A phrase I have to admit, I never imagined myself typing out, much less in quick succession. XD ))

Mala was starting to have serious trouble keeping a straight face. "What? Your expression seems to say that this is actually surprising. Wasn't it you that kept saying that we'd eventually get together?"

"Hey, sugarsweet," Val called as they passed her brother, "guess who got laid last night? And earlier? And guess who didn't? In case you didn't know, the former is me, and the latter is you." She cackled. "Ceri, please, just screw him already. I'm not sure how long it's been since he's had sex." Then she quickly pulled Rincewind out of what was sure to become a dangerous situation.
"I'm going to cut out her tongue someday," Alek muttered with a sigh. "Please, feel free to ignore my sister whenever she opens her mouth."
When Val was gone, Angel stood and held Mala's hand, silently. She didn't even make a marriage comment.

"I was expecting something more....romantic." Riley said simply. "At least it finally happened. I'm pretty sure most couples don't take seven years to get this far. Anyway, this makes Van, what, my brother in law?" he said putting a finger to his chin in mock thought.
"Don't push it kid. And at least I have a girlfriend!" Van said pushing Riley's head down with the hand that wasn't holding Mala's.
((Inorite?? I mean really, how could anyone not love it! =D ))

Ceri finished her water and left the glass on the counter. "It's okay. I"m going to talk to the elders for a bit, ask them which would be the best way to go." She got off the bar stool and bowed her head at Alek. "I'll see you later." She then walked out of the pub.

"Excuse me, sir," Rincewind said to the nearest passerby.
"I'm a woman."
"Sorry. Where is the nearest blacksmith?"
The bearded, dwarven woman pointed to the building next to the inn. If he had known any better, Rincewind would have realized that every other building in a dwarven city is a blacksmith's. The other building is always a bar.

Mala snickered at this before she turned her gaze to Angel. She couldn't help but notice that the vampire was awfully quiet. Mala gave a look of puzzlement, having almost completely forgotten about Angel's sexual harassment with her and Van finally getting together after seven years. Before long she glanced back over at the two boys, wondering what smartass comment Riley might start spouting next.

With a soft sigh, Alek watched Ceri leave, then hummed a soft tune and started listening to the conversation up the stairs.
Angel couldn't help but flinch a little when Mala looked to her, expecting some form of physical punishment, and then she moved a little closer, shaking a little.

Mala rolled her eyes at Riley's words. "I've long since let go, even if you are the closest thing I'll ever have to a kid of my own..." she said, intentionally giving a big sigh and giving him the guilt trip. After this, however, her eyes wandered to something strange going on.
Mala raised an eyebrow at Angel. "Why so shaky? It's not like I've got a deadly vendetta against you." she finally said, quite bothered by the vampire's lack of spirit. Judging by her personality so far, her being quiet was...unnerving.
