So.. he could go through her too. This was strange! He sat back again, looking up at Nehanda. After she spoke, he chirruped loudly back at her. Although, whether he understood her or not..

He flicked his tail happily from side to side as Luc came up beside him with that pretty flower. He tilted his head again, watching as the other gryphon nudged the crysantheum towards the wispy thing.

Merping again, he flopped down onto his side. This bandage and burn was a pain! He wasn't going to stick his paw straight into a fire again, that's for sure!

"No kidding... he decided to find out what fire felt like when I turned my back for half a second the other day... I don't think he'll be doing that again. Thankfully, it's not too bad.
Doesn't stop him from sticking his beak in everywhere else though, as you can see.

So, when did Nehanda grow up into a wisp? She's very pretty." Ieyasu smiled again. It was intriguing to see one of the Aerandir grown a little older.

Osu chirruped good naturedly at Nehanda. Afterall, he was a little disappointed that he couldn't charge about, but he liked Nehanda (even if she was see though and all wispy) and Luc was here too.

As Luc began to prance about, as soon as he came within decent reach of Osu, the crane gryphon reached out, prodding at him playfully. He had gone all puffy and big!

Ieyasu grinned at Nyxa "Maybe he's up to something." Looking back to Foenix, his gaze turned curious. "Really? That would be great if you could. He's getting annoyed with not being able to run about like a raving lunatic."

Foenix nodded. "I'll drop it off at your place tomorrow. It really helped with the itching as Kylara's burns healed, and there's minimal scarring."

Nehanda giggled as osu poked at Lucius's feathers. Yup, they certainly were puffy! She could tell that the two boys were great friends. Maybe she'd be able to spend more time with them both soon.

((Getting close to 8. I'm walking in a Relay for Life, so I'll have to get going soon. Gah. I hate to keep having to run off like this . . .))

Foenix bit her lip. "Actually, there is something you could do. I know it sounds a bit silly, but do you happen to have two pieces of ribbon lying around? Aly asked me to find a few things that he's gonna use to help Nehanda change into her Child form . . . and he needs ribbons, for some weird reason."

She looked down at her watch. "Well, it looks like I need to get going. It was good to see you both," she nodded to Ieyasu and Nyxa as the latter left the Centre. "And I'll see you guys later." She walked over to Nehanda and Osu, and bent down. "Hi, Osu, I'm Foenix, Nehanda's guardian. I'm afraid that we need to go home now, but it was very nice to meet you."

Nehanda had been happily watching Osu's antics. He was just so nice! and graceful, really, despite that fact that he seemed a bit . . . accident prone. "Bye," she chirped, and gave him a wave and a blown kiss. Then she spun quickly around the gryphon and flew out the door.

With a laugh, Foenix followed her much more cheerful Aerandir.

Foenix ran eagerly into the Centre. Without stopping, she headed straight back toward Aly's rooms. Would he be there? Oh, she really, really hoped so.

Nehanda, as was her current wont, ignored doors and windows and flew straight through the wall. She dipped and twirled around Foenix, stopping here and there to "pat" the box Foenix was carrying, or to "brush" the flower tucked behind the woman's ear.

Foenix carried several very special items. There were four healing potions that she and Nehanda had made together and settled into four pretty bottles.

The first was the burn salve that had worked so well on both Kylara and Osu. It contained St. John's Wort, balsam poplar, crushed rose hips, Vitamin E oil, and white pine pitch. The second was the mixture of ginger, szechuan pepper, ginseng, and barley malt sugar that they had made right after Nehanda's transformation. The third was a bruise salve of wood betony, comfrey, calendula flowers, bees' wax, tea trea oil, lavender, and more Vitamin E. And the last one, stoppered into a decorative bottle, was Elder Flower Water. It would help to fight influenza, and improve breathing.

Foenix had carefully selected these four potions, wanting things that would be useful around the island.

Beside the potion, she also carried the four beads that Fae had given to her; , the two ribbons from Ieyasu and Osu,

and, lastly, the flower tucked behind her ear was the very same chrysanthemum that Lucius had given Nehanda to cheer her up. It was drooping just the tiniest bit, but still held its lovely rust-colored petals cheerfully.

Arriving at the rooms, Foenix turned her head and gave Nehanda a Look, reminding Nehanda that It Was Not Polite to Burst in on Other People's Privacy.

They were having a few issues with that back home.

Taking a breath, she freed one hand from the box of potions and knocked.

((Okay, gotta run off for a shower before work. I'll stop back in before I leave.))

Foenix stepped quietly into Aly's rooms. She had never actually been inside, so she looked about her. The room was somewhat spartan, but comfortable. Exactly what she'd pictured for him. Another door way led off to what must be his bedroom.

Turning to face him, she gave Aly a half-smile. "I'm sorry to wake you so early. Nehanda was just so excited . . ."

She trailed off, and directed her gaze over to the wisp, who was eagerly flitting about the room, searching out any secrets. She looped, and came to a stop next to the two adults. "Asssya?" she asked happily.

Foenix grinned. "She wants to know if Acia is around. She hasn't quite got all of the vowels and consonents down pat just yet." Remembering abruptly why she had come, she plucked the flower from her ear and held the box out to Aly.

Foenix realized what Aly must be looking for, and reached into her carry-all. She pulled out a wrapped bundle and, removing the cloth, laid the sickle down beside the bottles and ribbons. "I think that's about it," she said simply.

Nehanda's ears perked up at Aly's words, and she immediately followed him over to the cushion. She made as if to sit, passed through the cushion and into the floor, and pulled herself out with a little giggle. "Luv mmm grden!" she stated definitively.
