Bavira attacked rapidly, trying to get around Lore's defenses. Somehow, seeing Jack being threatened like that, set him off.
Lore was actually starting to have to exert herself in blocked Bavira's attacks. He's improving with his protectiveness of Jack. That's both good...and bad.

Jack quickly went to the bathroom. when he cam back he sat down, making himself comfy as he watched.

Lore had seen enough. "Stop, Bavira."
Bavira kept attacking.
Lore growled. "Stop!" She roared, freezing him in place.
Bavira blinked. "Ugh... What...what was that?"
Lore shook her head.

Lore sat down, putting the sword back in its scabbard. "The beginning of the mating ritual. After the marking, the dorminant becomes extremely protective and possessive of the submissive. For dragons, it won't stop until the egg is..." She stopped. "Or...until a week has passed."
Bavira raised an eyebrow. "Lore, what was you about to say?"

"What egg?" Jack asked as he stood up. Jack wondered if he was pregnant. and if so..how?!

Lore laughed lightly. "Well, if Jack-kun was female, Bavira would crave her body until she conceives an egg, or child. But, it's highly unlikely it'll happen. That's why I didn't mention it."
Bavira nodded slowly. "O...kay." He was actually imagining Jack being pregnant with an egg. Even though he felt bad about it, he wanted it to be possible.

Lore laughed. "Yes, well, the joys of child-birth are priceless. Though, dragons become rather attached their young, and thus are easily devastated when they are lost." She looked at Bavira.
Bavira stared at Lore for a moment before he stepped closer adn let her hug him. Though, he still felt too awkward to hug her back.

Jack smiled as he watched the loving moment. "I wish I had a mom to hug." jack said with a light sigh.

Lore smiled. "Well, once you two marry, you will."
Bavira nodded. "That's right, Jack." He walked back over to him. "And don't forget, you got me to hug, too."

Lore stared at the two of them. Hm...with that much love...an egg might be born anyway...

Bavira was about to acccept when Lore stopped him.
"My son...keep this." Lore tossed his the sword she had given him. "Practice with it, every morning. I've taught you all I can. So, it's up to you to get your body to remember the rest. Yours swords, the sword art, you must make your DNA remembered, the knowledge inherited by you, from you ancestors." She then jumped into the water.
Bavira nodded. "Understood, Lore." He looked at Jack. "Okay, let's go."
