Kichi smiled as the group talked over the idea of tea. "Well..." He started. "Why don't we head out, and look for a tea shop along the way? In fact, I'll go ask someone outside the courtyard gates!" and with the he jogged out of the gates, and looked around. Not noting any place that looked like or advertised itself as a tea shop, he walked over to a random city dweller, and politely asked, "What is the best tea shop on the way to the..." He looked around, noting the sun's position, and the time of day, and decided that they needed to go west probably. "west exit of the city? If you know, I would be greatly appreciative." The villager was probably put off by the strange clothes, among other things, but was polite enough to start giving directions to Kichi anyways, who listened carefully, and mapped out the route in his head.

She felt guilty for opening her big mouth and brining up the idea of Tea. She felt she was being selfish for asking to stay longer in china, when they should be looking for King Mickey.
' Well... you made your bed Kyla- now sleep in it-'
At least Kichi had the sense to make the best fo it, and make sure they were nto back tracking, but still going in the same general direction of the Red Rose. They'd just dawdle a little and enjoy the sight of China for a pre precious moments.
'...still..if in the next world we find out we missed Mickey by a second or two, I will officially drown myself for repentance!'
She watched the General take Maggie with her back to the ship ahead of them, with Yuffie following glumly behind.
Her thoughts went with her. They insisted she was probably just tired, and wouldnt' wake until she recieved efficant, natural rest.
'...I should be at her side. Am I bad friend for remaining here with everyone else? '
~ You want to know the other earthlings as well don't you? You're a team! Maggie is in good hands, and she'll be there for you to protect when you all get back to the Red Rose.
Still, it seemed every time they get split up, something bad happened to her... Kyla refused to let that happen again. She better be there, safe and sound on the ship when they caught up..or who ever touches her will rue the day they did- ~ Ok! Enough! Tea time, you're thoughts are WAY too dark, they need a pick me up! NOW! her summon demanded, clamping down on her wild imagination before it got out of hand.
Hefting her book close to her heart, the pictomancer trotted off, following behind Kichi as they exited the gates and into the city. She found him speaking to a villager, " A man getting directions?... impressive."

The rogue's left eye started to twitch a bit before he said, "You told me he just hovered his hand over it, didn't you? Or did you mean he actually-" The renegade placed his hand on the orb before adding, "Placed his hand on it?"

{James : Train : Training Car} {{cue: Supersonic}} James had barely finished talking to Dawn as Louis called for them to start and immediately fired off a around from his rifle to start it "On your guard!" James yelled to get her attention, but barely had time to react himself as Kyle set into action firing off three banish spells. Jenny's Haste making the swallow wielder's spell too fast for James to react to as he was pushed not once but twice. Pushing him into the wall. The spell itself didn't so much hurt as the impact did. "Ngh..." James said with a slight irritation and shook it off, he hadn't expected Kyle to start off ranged though it made sense really. He watched as Dawn had jumped into the air and was now going straight at Kyle. Hoping that she would be careful of the dark balls of energy that Jenny had summoned which had to be a Gravity spell. He would be sure to do the same as he away from where he was and aimed a shot at Kyle and fired, aiming it right so that it wouldn't impede Dawn's attack. He then quickly turned and fired another shot this time at Louis. I've got to keep an eye out on all three of them. This is going to be interesting.'{Leon : Land of Dragons : Imperial City}
The gunblader followed behind the group, despite the seemingly peaceful place he was on guard. Not trusting of any world right now due to the Heartless outbreak. He never seemed to be able to just relax anymore, not on this mission or even at the garden. He watched as the one known as Kichi asked someone for directions just surveying the strange world that was so much different then his home.
'This must have been how Sora felt...'

The moment Cory's hand touched the sphere, the two electrical towers roared to life, the yellow crystals beginning to spin rapidly and discharge energy. Lightning bolts launched toward the base of the sphere, as if to power it up, before things grew somewhat quieter, the towers' roars dulling to hums, and the crystal lighting up. However, no image appeared. As a matter of fact, nothing at all seemed to happen, until-
ZAP
The sphere, without any sort of warning, released a powerful electric charge directly targeting Cory, regardless of whether or not his hand was still on the sphere.
"Ah, yes. That's why none of us know how to use it- it was programmed to allow for only his use," the Guado said, as if truly surprised, though the hint of a small smile could be seen if one were close enough.
[[I remember setting this up back when Michael first joined up xDDD]]

As Dawn leapt his way, Kyle grinned and twisted to the side with a minor hop, jumping lightly and farther away from Jenny. Thanks to the Haste spell, he was able to completely dodge the attack. As he did so, he made sure to inhale a quick breath before twisting to turn back to where Dawn would be landing. He grinned just as she made contact with the ground-
"Doctor Octogonapus!" he shouted, almost teasingly, as if trying to distract Dawn, before opening his mouth wide. Without warning, a large beam of golden Holy energy burst from his mouth in her direction. He would have sustained it long enough to follow her direction, but James' bullet came crashing into his shoulder the moment the Redemption blast was released, cutting him off so that only the initial blast was fired.
In retaliation, Kyle immediately pointed a finger at James, creating a Neutron Star attack and shooting it at the gunner with the same speed as his bullet; only this had a minor explosive capability.

The rogue could feel it building up, having been an electrician before Earth was destroyed. "F-"
He felt the electricity coursing through his body, bringing with it memories of working with his dad. When it was over, his was still on his feet, smoke rising from his form as he listened to the Guado's words. The Will exploded from Cory's body, engulfing him in an inferno of icy flames as he said, "Maybe I should just ask the Guado himself? Surely massacring his forgetful servants would bring him back in a hurry... Unless you can think of another way?"

The shadow-mancer stumbled to the side a bit, avoiding the blast radius of a gravity spell detonated close to him. He looked around, and found now that he'd avoided the initial blasts, their dark forms could give him just the momentary cover he needed.
Louis grinned while throwing the gun over his shoulder. His now free hands reached down to grip his daggers in backwards form, as he ran through the mine field, listening to Jenny's song. It was distracting, haunting, and reverberated into his senses. He had to pay full attention to what he was doing otherwise he wasn't sure if her song would completely pull him away from reality.
Music laced with magic, so beautiful... but who would have guessed the combination would be so deadly.
As his thoughts faded, he crept up on James from the side, moving in full speed. His right arm flew up underneath the gunners hexagun and struck upwards. Weather it struck or not didn't matter, the real attack came as he spun on his right heel, his left foot sweeping backwards sliding awkwardly behind his other leg as he spun around. Half way through the motion brought his left hand around, his back entirely to James, and the reversed pitch black blade driving right towards James' left ribcage.

Mateus nodded at Chaos before he left mouthing something along the lines of, "My host definitely seems to think so." in response to his question about Seymour.
In all honesty, the only reason I am mouthing off to him so openly is BECAUSE I'm in this weaker form...
Mateus laughed deeply once Nick came around again, "You took better to that than my host did... you become more and more interesting by them minute... what I wouldn't give to obtain a heart like yours..." Mateus let his voice slide on the last comment, "You may have a point there. We are monsters... and that includes you now." Mateus laughed, something that now matter in what tone was in no way cheery or uplifting, "But... what do you think separates US... from all the other monsters? Tell me... I'm curious to hear your answer..."

"Try your worst, human, it will do you no good," the mage spoke, unmoved by the sudden explosion of Indomitable Will. Even the two warriors seemed unfazed as they came to the Guado's side, weapons tightly in hand. "Maester Seymour has no magical connection to this place- you could kill each of us and he wouldn't know until he returned. Besides, even if Seymour did come back, do you honestly believe he would aid our murderer?"
"Not that you would do much in terms of damage. We are far more numerous than just us three," he continued, his hands now held out to his sides as two fireballs formed in his hand- the most basic, damaging spell, though it was obviously more powerful than your average Fire. "The magi among us were all trained by the Maester himself, and the warriors have at least a decade of experience to guide them. Do you really wish to test our mettle?"

From her peripheral, Jenny saw a brilliant flash of light... erupting from Kyle's mouth just like in the TV shows, but her brief awe quickly transformed as she saw the bullet hit Kyle square in the shoulder. She subconsciously winced before remembering that they were magical bullets. He had both James and Dawn coming after him. She felt her music falter only slightly as her concentration shifted which the mage quickly reigned back in.
Right, well at the moment, James and Louis are the farthest away. If I can distract James and Louis for a moment we can then deal with Dawn. Plus, that way there's no chance for Kyle to get caught in the friendly fire.
Without a moments hesitation, the song morphed into something else entirely a mellow bridge of music branching off into something more fast paced. A large rip opened up in the ceiling of the car before just a second later, melon sized meteors began to crash down around James and Louis in a frenzy of rock and fire. I'm so sorry, you guys.

"The answer is simple, Mateus." Nick chuckled, and began pacing around in the soft earth. "Actual intelligence. A sense of being. You see, you are monsters due to your power. But you also feel emotions, you think for yourselves, you have some control. It's quite frightening, really. But, my time here is up, I suppose. Don't want to hold you back with my random chattering."
Nick took a polite bow towards Mateus, his bandana ends flailing about in a spastic pattern. "Is there anything more you request of me, Teacher, Master, Mateus?"

"Doctor what?" Dawn was a little confused as she heard him shout she had just turned his way when he shot a holy blast... from his mouth...? "Holy crap!" Dawn's feet weren't even on the ground before she was hit by it.
She was sent flying away from him and in the direction of one of Jenny's gravity spells. She landed just inches from it.
Dawn was a little dazed as she got to her knees. She heard her song change slightly. Her eyes falling in the direction of James. He didn't have one, but three attacks coming at him. Her eyes went back to Jenny as she played her flute. Her magic seemed to center around it. So if she couldn't play it, she'd be helpless.
Dawn got up to her feet, careful not to disturb the spell that was near her. She moved both her fans out and summoned a strong force of wind in the direction of Jenny, aimed mainly at her flute. The force was strong enough where it would of been hard to play it without it being blown out of her hands.

"Tough talk for a mage. When you don't already have a hold on me, I'm afraid you won't get a chance to hit me with any of those fire spells." The rogue slid into stance, not bothering to summon the Revblade and instead conjuring a pair of Indomitable Firagas in his hands. "Of all the Earthlings, I'm the most dangerous in close quarters combat. And of all the Earthlings, I'm also the best at closing the distance. You could say that makes me the most dangerous of them all. I would, after all. However, I'm feeling merciful today. Humor me- Do you know anything about a summon called Mateus? If you know anything, I might spare you."

"We've not heard that name before," the magus spoke, still unfazed as his eyes narrowed. The poor, foolish human. Apparently, the words 'trained by the Maester' fell on deaf ears- his loss.
"Now, if that's all, I believe our hospitality has come to an end," he announced. As he did so, his body hovered off the ground, the flames in his hands growing bigger and brighter, until finally, the spheres exploded within his grasp, releasing a brief flash of light.
Upon the light's fading, all three of the Guado were covered in the fiery magic, and most of the Main Hall near them was entirely enveloped in flame- which only began to slither farther toward the other side of the hall. The two guards seemed unharmed by the magic- quite the contrary, it seemed they were more prepared now than before.
"If you attempt to fight, the only way you will survive is retreat or surrender," the mage threatened, his eyes appearing as spheres of flame. "That is our last warning."
