((Hehe so that's what you decided to do, interesting Emma :3 ))
[Lol doesn't bother to put a damage tally]
[Victory!]
"Whoa well, we got that part covered, but something tells me there are alot more," The Paladin muttered,"So should we tear this place down before they open up the portal or what?"

"Does it seem to lead elsewhere in this Earth, or does it lead to ours?" Scribbler glanced at Hrothbert, shivering involuntarily from the brush of the...whatever it was that caused the pile of dead Soulless. "or should we try and redirect it towards Emma instead?"

"If it can be redirected."
He advanced upon the still-living Soulless, locking its gaze with his as he pried open its mind for information. It might not have the full capacity for thought as it once had, but there might be something worth knowing within.

Hrothbert was fed only information of someone waking up in the night and being taken forcefully to a place.
All coherent though was blanked out after that.
The Soulless gurgled, and lumbered off as if not noticing them.

He let it go, the murderous glint in his eye fading away. Looking around at the Soulless that lay dead around him, dispassionate and cold.
"What more can be done with the portal?"

"We can either break it, or force it to open before it is ready and surprise whatever is on the other side." Or simply get lost in the void between, but...
Scribbler had a feeling that elsewhere lay a portal gate that was already open and guarded.
[...ack, gotta run >.<;]

"Indeed."
He sent the thinnest, most delicate, undetectable thread of power towards the portal, searching rather than acting.

"...I have a bad feeling."
The inkmancer's eyes searched the portal for any hint of the world beyond, almost unfocused in the intensity of the probing stare.
Her eyes widened. Was that a flicker of violet?

[[Sorry annoying sibling. We had an argument. Infact we still are arguing >.<]]
The sorcerer found a pulling feeling in his heart, and it was dark. It seemed to begin tugging, and yanking at his very soul.

He stood his ground; such things had happened before and he was not about to give in. His own darkness was strong enough to withstand it, but that did not mean it was not disconcerting.
But something else gave him strength. Something that shared his heart with the darkness.
Light.

The tugging stopped slightly, and yet it still pressed on, eventually a blast of energy shot out at the group, hitting Farskon, and Scribbler.

"Ah--!" The paene was knocked back a few feet from the blast, caught off guard and off balance. Luckily, it was mostly absorbed by the shield from earlier. She scrambled to her feet shakily, paintbrush flicking outwards in a defensive maneouvre.

A shield slammed up around the three of them, out of instinct if nothing else. The broadsword had vanished from his waist; it would only be a hindrance now.
He sent out his power once more, this time a little more forcefully, searching only for Emma.

Hrothbert found that the portal lead to what looked like a hill, but the rest was obscured, a golem noticed their loitering, and began lumbering toward them.
