{Ooo Goody what are we torturing today?} [Castle Oblivion :: Commons Area] Haruko sat at her private table and stared into nothingness. It was really boring recently and that fight with whatever his face did not even begin to quell her fire. Luckly the new guy came over to her. Something about her calling him "fresh meat." She started to giggle quickly at him. "But sir you are considered the newest member meaning 'fresh meat.'"she said smiling at the man, "However I will duel you! I have been bored!!! Now where to fight? Hallway? Your room?" she started to think of so many possibilities. "Any suggestions meat?"

[How can one possess the Heart of the sword, When one does not have a heart...?]
{Castle Oblivion : Commons Area -> Dojo Floor}
His eyes narrowed yet again as Haruko yet again called him meat. He considered for a minute how best to proceed with this duel. To fight in the hallways wouldn't be a good idea nor would fighting in his room. He then remembered what Vereor said regarding the different floors and the gate cards creating a world based upon the memories.
"I have an idea... Follow me."
He said as he left the Commons Area and into the long hallway, instead of heading back the way he and Vereor had though and headed toward the stairwell that lead to the next floor and focused for a moment gathering the memories of what would be an appropriate place to spar and in his hand formed a long card that had three points at the top of the card much like a crown. He then placed the Gate Card against the door and the door opened and he walked in and Haruko would follow.
As they entered there would be a flash of light and when it cleared they would be standing in the door frame of a traditional Japanese style dojo. There was nothing on the floors of the large room to interfere in their match and the ceiling was high so it was unlikely they would damage it with any of their attacks. Not that it would matter. He stepped into the dojo, the sound his foot steps made on the wooden floor giving him a feeling of almost nostalgia as he turned to Haruko.
"This should suffice for our purposes."

---------- NαlΘ ----------
Nalo gave Window a big smile as he walked outside. Soryuju and Mitsudo looked sweaty like they were fighting. Nalo recognized the tell-tale signs of a street brawl. He muttered to Window, "I think these two were fighting." Nalo scanned the croud and near the back was a familiar mint-green puffball. "Enyb!" He proclaimed. He took Window's hand and tugged him towards the feathered bird. Hidden behind the crowd, Nalo spied the fuzzy moogle nearby. "Oh! Who're you?" He sat back on his haunches to face Moggie. "Window, this is a moogle. He comes from my planet too! I feel so lucky to have so many fami-" Again he cut off his sentence. It wasn't fair to Window. It wasn't fair that Nalo was reminded of his friends back home on Ivalice, while Window still wasn't used to being thrust here. It wasn't fair.
"Hey. Enyb, it's wonderful to see you again, but I have to take Window to get some warm clothes before it gets dark. It's great to see you again, but we have to go. I'd love to spend time with you two afterwards though. We'll come back later, 'k?" Nalo took Window's hand again and led him off to the third district, almost skipping.

~Window~ [Traverse Town :: Second District-->Third District] Window thought that he might be finally getting used to the hand holding, since Nalo did it so much. It would have been a perfect time to bring up the subject of his customs when Nalo had asked about it world, but now Window feared the opportunity had passed him by. Even though Nalo couldn't tell how awkward it was each time he had physical contact with him, he seemed to be a bit of a mind reader now; Nalo promptly had dragged him over to investigate the new creature...a "moogle". Now that was a funny word. Window mentally said the name again and again, rolling it over in his mind. He could tell that it would fall off the tongue in a very interesting manner. But Nalo seemed to find himself regretting bringing Window over to see the bird and the...moogle. He smiled sadly. "I think it is very nice that you are able to find something familiar here. Enjoy the bits of happiness you find." It sounded like he had cut off the word "family." Was Nalo worried about offending him? For the moment, Window had managed to suppress feelings about his world. They would be dealt with later when he had the time and the space...if he ever got it. And with that thought, Window was whisked away again by Nalo, bouncing oddly as the Viera half-skipped to the clothing shop. He gave his gesture of greeting to the two creatures before disappearing through the wooden door to the next district.

Kuropo Guroko
{Judge me not by my size; For I'm much more then meets the eyes.}
{Traverse Town : Second District Cafe -> Into the Maze}
Kuropo nodded his head in understanding yet again at Suzuran's words and grinned at her as she smiled lightly at him. He felt that the conversation was about to continue. However, it seemed that the ending of the two people's pointless fight had drawn her attention. As she spoke to them the Tarutaru fell back on his own thoughts. He could tell at the very least that this group was here for some kind of purpose and behind it all he conceived the idea for a little test of this group's valor and strength. A mischievous chuckle barely escaping his lips before he suppressed it.
'Now that the silly fight is done; It is time for me to have some fun!'
Suddenly the bright blue orb in his staff began to glow, casting a bright light over everyone who was able to see the fight. ( Soryuju, Mitsudo, Kuumaru, Suzuran, Moggie, Enyb, Elde, Alexandra, Shade and Souzourou) When the light dimmed they all would find that they were not in Traverse Town or at least not that they could see...
{Cue: Cloister of Trials}
They would find themselves, cut off from each other. Despite how close in proximity the great majority of them had been. Surrounded by narrow stone passageways that would turn and go on for what seemed like forever. Anyone could recognize all too well what it meant. That they were in a maze. Moggie would find that flying over the walls was not an option in the maze, nor would anyone be able to jump over the walls either and the walls could not be destroyed.
"Proceed through the maze with great care; I am curious to see how you will fare.
Hehehe..."
The voice came from everywhere and yet no where, able to be heard by all the laughter fading away into nothingness at least for now.((Alright guys I know I have left this very vague but for now I ask you Please do not run into each other. Once everyone has responded to being taken into the maze I will go into detail regarding the rules. The Random Chance Thread will be used for this game. I will post the rules in the QSD thread after everyone has posted))

{Ignorance is bliss... until reality throws a Heartless siege at you.}
[Traverse Town : Second District Cafe]
The teen had just managed to pick up his spear alongside the wall when the bright light blinded him, forcing him to cover his eyes. What was going on, that there was such light in an eternally-dark world? The knight tensed,, gripping the spear tightly before slowly opening his eyes.
He was no longer in Traverse Town, it seemed.
Eyes narrowed, he observed the stone walls that surrounding him, leading down a specific, narrow pathway. What on earth was going on? That question was answered mere moments later, when the somewhat familiar voice spoke around the area; so, he was in a maze. Was he alone, or were the others also in such a place?
"Tch... no rest for the weary, it seems," he muttered, beginning to walk down the pathway.

[ Enyb ]
{Kweh...[Oh my...]}
[Traverse Town: Second District Cafe -> Maze]
Frankly, the maze was horrifying to the chocobo, mainly cause it just kinda showed up out of no where. In fact, it made him run around in a panicked circle for a moment, before he calmed down and thought.
Now...how did I end up in here? Well, only one way to get out, and that's to start moving. ...I wonder if I'll find something. And Enyb started forward, the metal of his claw weapons clanking lightly.

[Moggie : Second District Cafe -> Maze]
Moggie looked around the maze in a state of fury. She had already tried several times to fly over the walls of this so called maze. But each time she ended up pushed back down by a strange force. It made her land hard on her rear end.
"Ouch!" she yelled after the fifth time of trying, rubbing her sore butt, "Goddammit!!! Fine I won't fly, you stupid jerk! Just wait till I get my hands on you. I'll cast fire on your butt so badly, you won't be able to sit down for a month!"
Moggie continued to rant into no one in particular, though she rather hoped the one responsible heard her at least. With her anger flaring, Moggie walked down the maze.

[Shade : Second District Cafe -> Maze]
Shade's eyes narrowed as she looked around the maze. Being stuck in this maze was the last thing she wanted. All she wanted was to watch the fight between the two brawlers then go on her way.
'How do I get myself involoved in such nonscense?
She looked down at Fang who was beside her when he gave out a growl that could only made out as, 'I told you so.'
"Oh shut up, Fang, I know," she said with a hint of annoyance at the wolf. He did want to leave before, but she didn't listen. If it wasn't for her curiousity they wouldn't be in this mess, "Let's go. We won't get anywhere just standing here."
With that the ninja and wolf started to make their way through the maze in search of a way out.

{Ooo Goody! What are we torturing today?} [Castle Oblivion :: Commons -> Dojo] Haruko giggled as she followed Saito around. This seemed like this was going to be fun. She watched as he pulled out a card and stick it on the wall to make a door. "Sheesh," she sighed, "if I had known you were going to do that I would've done it myself." She then stepped inside of the room to see the dojo and walked to the wall furthest away from the door. "Hmm. Feels like home to me." she smirked and held her right hand on her holder waiting and staring at him. She quickly smirked and glared at Saito before smirking again and turning off her glare. "Ok lets go it started!" she thought to herself. She then took off her hat with her left hand and it dissapeared quickly. "I hope you know what you got yourself into!!" she giggled her evil laugh.

[How can one possess the Heart of the sword, When one does not have a heart...?]
{Castle Oblivion : Dojo}
Saito did not react to any or her words before or after they stepped into the dojo. His eyes focused on her as she glared at him strangely all the while smirking. He felt something strange... very faint but it didn't seem to actually do anything to him.
"We shall see... Memories of the Betrayed! Magoroku!"
He yelled out as he drew from it's scabbard the katana on his left hipbone as he called it's name dark energy surrounded him and when it dispersed in a wave outward Saito stood before Haruko in his samurai armor. As he drew his other katana she would note lightning wrapped around the blade. Saito was pulling out all the stops for this battle.
"Here I come!"
He called out as he moved so fast that normal eyes almost couldn't see him move as he stopped right next to Haruko and slashed at her with the katana in his right hand aiming for her torso since no weapons had been drawn yet. If she didn't move quickly the first attack would be a decisive one.

---------- NαlΘ ---------- Nalo and Window made their way to the clothing store Aerith had mentioned. It was a large, Victorian style building with an ornately carved wooded sign out front. "Jonah's Finery...Well, looks like we found it Window!" His hand had started to slip and he only held onto Window's last two fingers. Three shadows ran along the ground behind Nalo, but the sound they made was unmistakeable: heartless. He let go of Window's hand completely, just in time to turn and face their assailants. His eyes grew wide at the prospect of another fight; he was still bruised fom his encounter earlier when he had tried to save Enyb. "Window...these are heartless. Stay strong, I hope you can fight" A darkball fell in behind the beady-eyed shadows. Nalo inched back towards the door, but knew it to be in vain; they wouldn't be able to make it inside. They'd have to fight. ((THAT WAS LUCKY! I had no idea that he wa going to do that. xP))

Souzourou {Don't we live in a beautiful world? And now a beautiful universe?}
[Traverse town :: Second District cafe -> Maze]
Souzourou had decided to let the other go before him. No point in ordering food you had ordered. Ignoring the fight that went on (It was none of his business after all), he continued eating. He then noticed a light behind him, as he finished his meal. when he turned to see what it was, he was in a maze, and he heard the voice. "What the...That's quite some magic...I wonder if I can use my runic magic on here, or cut the walls with my Katars..." He grinned. "An interesting challenge." He tried to etch some patterns in the wall with his Katars, seeing how deeply he could cut them. He got about a half an inch in before he found he couldn't cut any deeper. "Hmmmm..." he etched a blast rune in one wall, put his hand on it, and focused. Then....BOOM. when the smoke cleared, there was a crater....with a flat bottom. "Not bad!" and with that, he started walking, keeping one Katar in the right hand wall, leaving a trail along that wall.

~Window~ [Traverse Town :: Third District] By their arrival, Window concluded that Nalo was very much like a child. In an endearing way, he corrected to himself. It wasn't that he was throwing tantrums or anything, it was that he seemed very...lighthearted at times, and yet also very self-critical. He was naive, he wore his heart on his sleeve, and he was very blunt. And yet, it was still endearing. It was a fresh perspective on the universe. For a moment, Window wished he could see the world through Nalo's eyes, just to take a respite from the no-nonsense way he had come to view everything. Just as Window had forgotten Nalo was holding his hand, the Viera shifted his grip and then let go, leaving cold air where his warmth had been. But something was wrong. Window sensed Nalo stiffen, and the atmosphere suddenly shifted, charged with fear...and hunger. Window pivoted around and faced something he had never seen or read about before... Heartless. Beside him, Nalo told him what his instinct already deduced. Window began to see why people would be ready to fight against these beings, now. It was a fight for survival. He had never been the object of a hunt before, never felt the maliciousness radiating from an enemy. It was a similar feeling he felt about the sky--an emptiness, a gaping void that waited to take you into its arms. However, these Heartless didn't seem content to wait; they wanted you now. Window laughed nervously. The greatest tragedy of it all was... "Er, Nalo, I should tell you something. I don't know how to fight."

---------- NαlΘ ---------- "Do you think you could run it into the store? I'll try to hold them off! RUN!" A fire was ignited in the Viera's eyes that had not existed in years. He lightly pushed Window towards the outfitter and stepped between him and the heartless. "C'mon..." The shadows wiggled across the stone, cold ground before popping back up a few feet in front of him. He pounced on all fours at the heartless, but it slid out from his hands before he could wrench it apart; he rolled to recover and turned again to face the heartless. The dark ball had dashed at him, but Nalo pounced on top of it, tackling it to the ground. He grabbed it by one of it's odd, misshapen appendages and threw it as hard as he could into the group of shadows. One of them melded with the ground and ran away while the other two were flattened. Again, Nalo pushed his frame low to the group, waiting for the heartless to charge him. Instead, they followed the shadow towards Window. "OH NO YOU ARE NOT!" He sprinted between Window and the heartless again. "You will not touch him!"
