Lily nodded as Annie stated she needed to change, she looked the girl over, forgetting she was wearing a teeshirt and some boots. Poor thing she thought to herself as she examined her closely, soaking wet, covered from foot to ankle with mud, her skin smeared with wet ash from the fire and her wet body. Lily had her fair shares of dirt, and that was where her female side shown. She hated to be dirty long. And when the chance was given she almost always had to change after something that had gotten her that way. Daddy called me a perfectionist, even in my appearance. Couldn't have a hair outta stray. she thought with a grim sigh.
"I actually keep a pair of clothes in a bag on my bike. " she spoke toward Annie, she couldn't help but glance at the girl with the wings as she spoke. A ting of curiosity hitting her like a ton of bricks, the words. 'are you a angel' wanting to so desperately still from her pretty little mouth. But she wouldn't allow it, It couldn't be said. Knowing her luck she'd probably only have another one of Ako's friends mad at her, and she was out to make friends, not enemies. So she just smiled sweetly at the girl before turning her attention back to Annie. "I'm sure there are bathrooms nearby you can change in, or me and her" she said nudging to the winged girl, feeling embarrassed about not knowing her name "could guard you while you change if you feel like it would take to long to find a place to change." she smiled this time at both girls, shifting the box of kittens to one arm.
As she awaited for the group to decide, Lily had yet another problem on hand, it was still a bit damp, and the rain was sure to pick up again. She had to keep the kittens dry some how. How mother would of loved to see this. she thought with a smirk as she removed her jacket, one arm at a time, being sure to carefully adjust the box under each free arm until it was finally off. She lifted her left leg, catching the leather jacket on her calf, keeping it from touching the wet cement. Lily then kicked it up towards her arm, caught it and draped it over the box of kittens, smiling as she took one last look at their furry little faces. She was already falling in love with the little dears.

The Dashing Gentleman "Alright, i'll help ya out kiddo." Lev smiled, now standing in the darkened room. "When i first started, i stood with my eyes closed. It helps with the little tinkering in ya head." Lev tapped his temple, giving a sly wink to Trinity. "You've got to push at the lever, 'fore i calls it that, in your head where it all began, all that backwash, ya know, the unknown that 'want there before ya hear? Ya gotta clear that gutter..Just concentrate." Lev's eyes were intense on the girl now, his breath bated in anticipation. Trinity nodded, as she listens to Lev's advice. She closes her eyes trying to clear away all thoughts and all the doubts she has. When her mind was silenced the instant when there was only darkness she started falling through her shadow. She reached up to grab something but anything that had her shadow on it would only slip through her fingers.

Lev's concentration seemed to break as Trinity began falling within the confines of her own shadow, and Lev shot his hand out, his fingers slipping through her own like vapor. Lev only had one chance, his heart suddenly panicked at the thought of losing this girl so quickly. Lev tightened his jaw, his eyes erupting with energy. The room suddenly flashed a blinding white, and Lev held the girl to his chest after grabbing her up from her own shadow. Lev breathed out a sigh of relief, his quick thinking a success, his other thoughts racing with dreams of grandure and power. Lev helped the girl to stand on her own again, brushing himself off as if she were covered in dust, or hell knows what. "It's a good thing i have such control of my own powers as to negate the effects of yer' own.." Lev stamped the stub of cigarette that was in his hands unto the wooden floor, sweat bristling on his forehead, the room dimming back to it's original dull glare. "But your special, more so then me..Much more so." Lev held a greedy glint in his gaze for only a moment, then this smoothed back into his former mask of a smile. "I believe that's enough for today Trinity..Much more then enough." Lev clapped her on the shoulder warm heartedly. "Now lets see to getting you home, it's to snow soon i reckon, and darkness creeps ever closer.." Lev stepped over to the window, the first street lights flickering to life now. "What do ya say, i'll walk ya home? Too dangerous for a young lady i'd assume.."

Annie took the clothes smiling, "You're a God send, ya' know that?" Annie ducked behind Tansy, taking advantage of her wings as extra cover, as she stripped off the dirty t-shirt and pulled on the s**t and jeans. Remarkably, and luckily the clothes seemed to fit fairly well. They were much darker of a color pallet than she was used to-the dark red tank and leather jacket and the darker jeans- and she had to roll the jeans once to not walk on it, but beyond that it fit pretty good.
She came out from behind Tansy smiling and hugged Lily, "We're almost the same size, go figure. Okay, we've better head out now. Ako or Garret or Tansy should look over the cats, and I can head with you on your bike to catch this guy you were talking about. Ako and Garret are all bigger than me and Tansy probably is pretty exhausted from her heroics earlier..."
Pushing a strand of her auburn hair behind her ear she continued, "If I get close enough I probably can find the guy pretty quick: I'd recognize vibes that poisonous anywhere..." Smiling she added quietly, "Plus, I'm not afraid of him. You'd have to be an idiot to pick a fight with a girl who can change water to acid, especially in this weather."

Trinity was a little freaked out about what happened. At least now she had a better idea of what happened during those dreams of darkness. She nodded in agreement to everythin that Lev said. When he mentioned walking her home a thought occured to her and she asks Lev " Could we go back? I kind of left my bike back there. I guess it's kind of close to the bar and grill we met at."

Lev pressed his palm into the door handle, another tiny explosion of steel within the lock mechanism making an audible thump. Lev spoke over his shoulder, "I reckon so, it'll be darker then hell out mind ya.. You got a cellphone?" Lev licked his lips absentmindedly, wandering out into the open shine of a street light after crossing the yard. There Lev took out yet another cigarette, lighting it with nothing but nothing, the end a red scar upon the blackness of his shadowed visage. "Follow me." Lev shambled lazily up the street, almost walking deliberately slower then normal. Lev liked to stroll. It cleared his mind, allowed him to breath in the air, escape the solitude and confinement of the indoors. Lev let his head swing back and forth, himself whistling as if the night were a blue sunny day.

"My parents are on a budget. That's why I don't have a cell phone or car. The bike is my transportation.". Trinity answers as she follows him.

Nodding, the bartender, feeling his way along and taking Daisy's hand led her to the back and to a back door. He pushed it, letting in the darkness of the night. Smiling Daisy stepped outside, "Good thing he didn't lock the back door, too, yes?"
The bartender nodded, frowning, he didn't like the woman and he didn't like the man much either.
Daisy ran through the back the ally, she narrowed her blue eyes as she studied the darkness. Closing her eyes she felt as if she could sense the presence of danger and excitement coming her way: ever since the meteor shower she was getting better at guessing these things. Lighting her own cigarette she waited watching those who passed, none of them Lev or the strange purple haired girl yet.

Lily smiled as she jumped on her bike. She was happy to see that the clothes fit the girl fairly well. The brunette gave the rest of the group a warming smile, handing over the box of kittens. "Please take care of them.. I know you guys are the ones who found them but-" she cut herself off for a second, changing her sentence from what it was going to be look at those little faces and tell me you cannot fall in love to a more suitable phrase of "Just take care of them." she finished with a smile, glad she was one of those people who thought before they spoke. She didn't want to reveal a weakness to this group yet, this group who seemed.. invincible.
"glad the clothes fit okay. And you are right, we should be going. If you can pick up on him, I dunno how that would work. We can ride around the area he was spotted, maybe even stop at the restaurant and see if he is there, if he isn't then I'm sure someone has seen him. He isn't someone you would miss in a crowd. " She smiled as she jumped down on her bikes pedals, turning the key, causing the bike to roar to life. It made her smile, just the simple action of hearing her baby cry.
"Shall we?" she said with a smirk as she looked at Annie, glad the girl was no longer giving her the stink eye. She hated making people angry, and she didn't mean anything by becoming Ako's friend, hell she really wasn't interested in the boy. He wasn't her type, then again she didn't think she could handle a boy with powers. She'd seen enough movies, and read enough comics to know never to become envolved with someone unlike yourself, unless you liked being kidnapped and possibly hurt most of the time, it was a defiant no go. Sure, Ako was cute and all, but as far as she and he was concerned, they would stay friends. That's all she needed was a super hero boyfriend.

Smiling, Annie swung her leg over the bike and seated behind Lily. It was slightly strange for her to be on the back of a bike, but then again she was a little used to it from when her father used to take her on motorcycle rides as a kid. "Alright, I'm on and ready," she said squeezing Lily.
Over the engine Annie spoke, "If you're talking about who I think I am you are right about him standing out physically. And, the thing about me picking up on 'vibes' is well complicated. Let's just call it a secondary power that I sort of had before I end up being the girl with the acidic will..."
As she spoke, Annie began to concentrate, she could tell he wasn't within a block radius of them, but that was about it. She felt a sense of dread about looking for the man. Annie may have done an almost about face when it came to being afraid of her powers, but that didn't mean she was comfortable with the idea of having to maybe confront someone and be forced to use her powers against another individual.

Lily grinned as she kicked the stand, balancing herself on the bike first, then she released the clutch, causing them to soar forward skillfully and smoothly. She weaved in and out of traffic, making her way closer to the last place she saw the white haired man. A small bar and grill, he was seated with a pretty little blond, who she thought looked familiar. But in this city, everyone looked familiar to her, being from her family, she should know everyone who was anyone, but sadly all she could remember was a face.
"So you have a power too?" she mused mainly to herself. She knew about Ako, and obviously about the winged girl. But the others, she at first figured them to be normal, until Annie mentioned turning water into acid. To be honest, she was impressed, the power Annie had was one -that if Lily was going to be cursed, or gifted with a power- she would of wanted.
It wasn't too much longer and the girls reached the small restaurant, she looked inside, not seeing the man anywhere. She groaned, putting the bike in park as she looked up and down the street, feeling drops of rain begin to p***k her flesh. Great she thought as she began to run inside the restaurant. "Do you see him anywhere?" she asked Annie as she looked around, not seeing him where he was sitting when she passed by a few moments ago. It was too late, he had left. However, something caught her eye as she looked around, the blond.. "That's the blond he was with!" she said looking back at Annie, knowing the blond hadn't heard her. The woman was heading out the back door, Lily thought quickly, making her way through the mass of tables and customers. She had to stop the blond, to figure out where the man was at. But as soon as she hit the door, she was gone. GAH!!! You have to be kidding me! she thought in defeat.

Lev stalked into every streetlight, as if his stroll were defying the night itself, a boastful slap to the gods of darkness indeed. His hand crushed the cigarette short, now at the end of it's embers, into the palm of his other hand, Lev looking back every now and then to make sure Trinity hadn't lost her way. Lev felt strange. He'd not been out of a work day in.. "Damn near seven years.." Lev spoke dreamily to himself, the cold encircling him, constricting his breath. Lev concentrated, flicking at the switch in his brain, tapping into his pulse to heat himself up. Lev began to strain, and he stopped walking. Leviathan cursed under his breath, tightening his jaw. He felt volts, low but constant, tilting through his veins and nerves.. "Need to charge up." Lev looked around at the lights, now holding his hand out to the girl. "It's far too dark and cold to walk by your lonesome." The heat in the air beginning to rise, the cold winds seeming less there. The street lamps near the restaurant flickering on then off, Lev pulling from them the current from within the city. Lev seemed to relax, his body shivering with power. Lev looked onward into the pitch dark, his hand tightly wound around Trinity's. He could see several electromagnetic fields around and within the restaurant. "There's alot of people Trinity. If there's trouble, i want you to be able to disappear and get back home. Ya understand me? Concentrate on home, that's all it is. Blank, then home." Lev kneeled down, and though the darkness seemed to prevent direct eye contact, Trinity no doubt felt the tense malice behind Lev's next words. "And do not utter a word of who i am to anyone unless i deem you able to. Please, for my sake and yours. Simply go back to the For Sale house and i'll be there tomorrow." Lev took her hand again, wandering closer to the restaurant. Lev grunted, then lit up his hand with a cobalt bolt of forbid lightning, a tesla of brilliance constantly weaving and snapping across his hand. Everything within 30 feet or more was completely lit up, and Lev didn't seem to care at all. And he didn't. "Where was it last.."

As Lily looked up and down the ally way, cursing a few un lady like words as she tried to find any trace of the woman with blond hair. Her only lead on the man who had burnt another nearly to death, and who she suspected burnt down the dashworth building. She was suddenly noticed the lights dimming and brightening. She recognize it quickly, it was the same light show she had seen at the mans apartment.
her eyes widen as she looked at Annie, hoping the girl would catch on too. He was close, probably too close for comfort. Lily took off the back door, knowing full well that Annie would find her. She had to pin down the man, she had to find him, before the whole city went up in smoke. As she ran down the ally, towards where the lights seemed to be having the best response. She was suddenly taken back by a blinding white light.
Her arm shot up to shield her unwilling eyes from receiving the blast. She felt tears fall down her eyes from the intensity of the light. She bit her lip, once it was passed, she could see in front of her once again, of course it was in rays of red and orange. The bright light had fried her vision for the time being. She looked up and down the ally way, hoping to catch some sort of lead on where the man would be now. "God dammit! To think I try to be a normal girl, and-Gah! You have to be F**king kidding me!" she cursed as she kicked a random can, going down the way that she had originally intended to go, knowing it was her best lead.

Trinity nodded about his concern should things turn sour. She nodded in agreement about not mentioning him to anyone, she wasn't too keen about talking about him to her mom. Blinded by the light at first she covers her until they got used to the light. She looks around with her hand still shading her eyes. She sees her bike "Over there!" she started heading toward the bike. It was where she left it, in near the office building that was burning earlier.

Daisy narrowed his eyes hearing a girl cursing and kicking cans. Rolling her eyes the reporter thought, 'Can the girl be ANY louder.' That was when, the lights began to flicker, just as they had before with Leviathan when he locked the bartender and her in the bar via the front door. Closing her eyes due to the sudden blinding light, she dropped her cigarette and put it out with the heel of her shoe and was about. Daisy was about to step out when, a girl wearing darker clothing and with auburn hair ran past her.
"He's here," Annie muttered under her breath even before the changes in light. She closed her eyes trying to concentrate, luckily it also gave her the side effect of protecting her eyes when the light suddenly illuminated the street.
Smiling she blinked her eyes a few times spotting the tall man and a small purple haired girl. Annie rushed past the bar towards them and stopped in front of the man and girl. "Oye! There ya' are!"
Stopping in front of the two, Annie bowed and lifting her head, forced a smile at Leviathan, her accent heavy, partially from nerves, "I've been lookin' for ya'! I ran into you earlier, sir, and I didn't have time to properly apologize as I had to rush into a burning building to save some poor innocent souls from being burned to death."
Annie was talking a mile a minute as she went on, "But I'm sure you know all about the fire at the Dashworth building- you were coming from there. Around you is a sickening aura of darkness... and power. You're like me, aren't you? Well, not exactly like me... your power is different than mine... If you don't mind I have a few questions to ask you, sir."
Daisy turned to see Lily coming down the ally, grabbing the girl's arm she hissed, "Shush, please. I'm trying to listen to what that girl is saying."
