Leliana stopped in her tracks and sniffed the air, her body going ridged. "I wonder what that is." She said to herself as she put her grandmother's star away and brought out one of her own.

Lloyd drew his sword. "That felt like a barrier that we just passed through. It could be that someone is guarding this area, and doesn't want company."

She couldn't help but growl as her eyes started to dart around. "Well if we did then something or someone is going to try to find us so I sagest we start walking just a little faster."

Lloyd nodded. "Agreed." Grasping his weapon, he marched forward, running with such speed and grace, it appeared that his feet didn't touch the ground.

Jonas was following the path way along the river as he entered the forest from the mainlands side. He had a feeling that he was being followed, but not of who was following. With staff in hand, he decided to wait behind the bushes along the path, and ambush his follower.

She followed him just as quickly, her wolf instincts kicking in as her eyes started to glow a light sliver. "What do you think the thing is that put that up?"

Salazar came up along the same path as Jonas shorty after. It had been a very tiring week for him and a walk through the forest seemed like just the thing to get his spirits up. As he started through, he noticed something very odd about the bush he was approaching. It seemed to wiggle a bit. But he ignored it and continued to hop merrily down the path.

She nodded and shifted, running next to him and continued to sniff the air to make sure nothing was trying to sneak up on them.

A few minutes later Lloyd could detect the barrier's exit, and dashed towards it. "Almost there." (Famous last words of Rouge Leader)

Leliana ran faster, panting and just wanting to get out of the barrier, forgetting to sniff around them as the ran.

Salazar quickly turned around to meet the speaker and gave a relived sigh. "Hey you. Jonas right?" It was all coming back to him. They had met once before, though he was having trouble remembering where. Something about necromancy, zombies, fire, Edward. Wait a minute... A slow smiled spread over Salazar's face as he walked over close to Jonas and shook his hand forcefully. "Yeah I remember now. It's been a while huh? How has life been treating you?"

Leliana sniffed around and sat by Lloyd's feet, panting heavily as her eyes darted around. Lets get going before it comes after us anyway. She said in his head, wagging her tail slightly.

She nodded and sat there a moment, concentrating hard until she shifted. "What idea do you have?" She was still panting, but it wasn't as bad as before.
