Kal hands Laren the bow and offers the longsword towards Tjaden, hoping he could examine it and see if it was any good. He looks closely at the Greater Healing Potion. "Erron," he says, offering it to Erron. As selfish as he was, he wanted to survive this. He could strike from shadows and then disappear back into them. A normal health potion, would be fine for him. Erron needed the better one, he fought up close and personal. Kal placed the gold in his own robe for now. They could put it in the main inventory later. "I can drink a normal potion, he can drink the one we found, and we can buy more healing potions later. Let's just be careful with our next battle. After this, we will only have two more healing potions left," he warned and suggested. "I don't want to wait for boney and ghouly to come back to life and come back to us," he reminded the group of the monster that killed their friend. He didn't want to be the second victim. He hated to bring bad memories up, but if it relit their fire and got this mission done better, he would do it.

"Prudent, if sometime dubious, Kal." Tjaden said, watching the halfling produce the potion from the bodies.
"I believe we best be moving...the less time we give them to prepare the better. Unless you feel that your combat ability has been critically weakened, I suggest we press on." Tjaden hefted his shield and walked to the end of the hall to peer into the room the cultists were using. He did not, however, exit the hallway.

The room at the end of the hall is now deserted, save for the now looted bodies of the cultists. At the back exit of the room is a staircase which is ablaze with light, it is fiery and red in hue and belies a dark presence in the bowels of its interior.

It is clear that the one called Malfius is still down there, with the Dragon's Eye.

Before moving on with the rest of the party Laren takes a few steps back for safety and fires the new bow at one of the dead bodies to see if she can gleen any information on it because it is no dought enchanted.

Seeing Laren fire the bow Kal had found she hurriedly cast an IDENTIFY spell upon it, then turn to Tjaden and did the same with the longsword. "Give me a moment, I'll tell you what each does." She mumbled and began to feel the spell slip the information into her mind.

((Arg I totally missed Kal handing Tjaden the long sword. Sorry...and MERRY CHRISTMAS ^_^))

Tjaden had passed his glowing sword to his shield hand, effectively reducing it to the status of a torch. With the other he inspected the weapon he had been given. As they made ready to continue, Selce hurriedly cast a spell on the sword. He was about to say it was a bit presumptuious to think every weapon they found was magical, even in a dragon-built tomb, but he bit his tongue. Selce would know better than he would.

Tjaden was also puzzled. He had been certain, back in the inn, that Kal had been up to no good. The little halfling, however, had demonstrated nothing but teamwork, trust and good faith throughout this harrowing experience. He was the only one that thought to loot the bodies, willingly took point, and was offering help to his comrades. Though Tjaden's strict views on justice, and admitted bias against halflings, Tjaden was finding it hard to justify his mistrust. Perhaps, Tjaden had more to learn from the paladin then he thought, for the man had conquered his instinctual mistrust of other creatures where Tjaden still harbored such discrimination. When this was over, Tjaden was determined to pay the man a visit.
