Quote: ((You know what the sad thing is... I actually know how to skin and carve a deer? Dad taught me once, let's see if I remember it all...)) Hey, that's awesome. I've only been taught how to skin a rabbit, since we live in the desert. XD Quote: ((Iruka finally gets back with the program. What a lazy bum. xd )) Yay, Iruka!

((I love creating sparks with flint ^^ We did it in science class for a lab about light once... it was awesome.)) Sumi watched quietly in amazement as Moscow worked swiftly and skillfully to perpare the deer. As he turned to the firepit she laughed. She could see herself spending hours trying to get the wood to light if Moscow hadn't have helped her. Listening to the flames crackle and grow warmer, Sumi lifted her eyes to the darkening horizon.
((Sorry that's kinda short, but I have some wierd piano thing to go to...))

Still clad in the Konoha ANBU attire, Jishin blade was tossed like a giant windmill into a nearby tree, wedging itself into the bark. Jishin calmly landed upon it, observing the scenery from close by. He slowly began to plot. He was their for one reason...he wanted Kyuubi, not so much the Biju, but more the Jinchuuriki who harvested such power, the only one who could understand a life like his own. THe five tails growled insecintly at him, but Jishin had no reason to fear it. He was in control, no longer rage nor Emotions. THe power of Gobi and the power it harnessed, their combined fate was in his hand.

((Ugh...two incredibly rough days. They've been scheuduling soccer games and practice all week, so I've had zilch time for Gaia. BUT IT'S THE WEEKEND NOW, HUZZAH!))
Jeiden watched Moscow prepare the deer with interest. "Eh, next time I'll get something that takes less time to prepare.." He murmured with a small yawn. He collapsed down by the fire and immediately picked up a small stick. A smaller second yawn passed through the Chuunin's mouth as he curiously poked at the flames.
For some bizarre reason, Jeiden always thought of people he knew whenever he stared into fire. A brief image of Uchiha Sasuke entered his mind as he watched the flames dance about.
"b*****d, I'll get him for sure next time..." He growled angrily while jabbing at the fire. It was noticable that his jabbing of the fire became slightly quicker and more violent, as if he were poking the Uchiha's eyes with the flaming stick instead.

Sumi flinched at Moscow's words. She had seen the scars, and didn't doubt that she would have the same as the weeks went on. She watched mesmerized by the flash of the crystals in the firelight. Never be the same... Of course it wouldn't be the same. It would take months, maybe years to rebuild Konoha. Leaning back against the tree she closed her eyes and was quicly sound asleep.
((Crappy ending I know, but I can't think of anything else XP))

Jeiden quit his jabbing at the fire and simply stared into the flames. Never....be the same? He questioned in his mind. Already he was missing the taste of Ichiraku ramen, or the feel of his soft bed.
"I don't feel like sleeping, I'm going for a walk." He said simply before pushing himself to his feet. He stuck his hands into the pockets of the tattered remains of his chuunin vest and began walking off into the distance.
He entered a small clearing and calmly looked around. Jeiden could just barely see the moon through the thick canopy of the trees. It was only a crescent moon, just a tiny fraction of what it could be. Jeiden was instantly reminded of Konoha's current state.
"The ninja in Konoha are strong, they'll recover eventually." The chuunin calmly stated while staring up at the moon. Somehow, he felt like everything would turn out alright in the end.

Sumi stirred and opened her eyes to the morning sun. Yawning, she noticed that both Moscow and Jeiden weren't at the campsite. "Must've gone off to train or something," Sumi mumbled, and then smiled as she noticed Pharos sitting above her. Getting up and stretching, she poked at the embers of the fire with a stick. It was chilly, and Sumi shivered. She found her pack and grabbed her heavier sweater. Sitting back down against the tree, she watched the sun rise and sang softly to herself as she waited for Moscow and Jeiden to come back.

Pharos clicked his beak, listening to the girl sing out to the open. Dropping down another branch, Pharos called out to the girl, ruffling his feathers and clicking his beak once more. His bright golden eyes shifted from side to side as he made sure nothing was around before dropping yet another branch, the last one on the tree.
