Mathias shook his head at the news. Then looked over to Krisit, "Negative CPO Kristi. I don't want anyone else leaving the perimeter. Besides I don't know why I didn't do this before..." The Lieutenant opened a com link to Sergeant Bisenti.
'Sergeant Bisenti..Can you hear me?'
He waited for a response to his radio transmission.

Jenkins stood next to Howie. "Sir." he said to the Lt, "Its just like he says...I was going to go out with him...i thought he had clearence...."

Mathias looked over at Jenkins, pausing for a moment expecting to get a response from Sergeant Bisenti more quickly, "No worries Jenkins." The Lieutenant said modest grin. Mathias shifted his weight once again from his left leg, to his right. His Battlerifle was tight against his shoulder as he held onto the strap of the rifle.

"I said my clearence was vetoed. There were more important orders." He drifted into thought woundering where the Covie had gone. They hadn't made a pep in a while.

Kristi shook her head, "mathias you know as well as I do he ain't gonna respond, ill go round him up, dead or a live i dont care which but hes coming back, i can get him no problem..." She said starting to head out.

Before Lt. Twombley had a chance to respond to Kristi, she was already heading out after Bisenti. With a quick movement towards her, since she was only about ten feet away, he reached up and grabbed her shoulder. Reaffirming his earlier order, "No Kristi. Remain here...Who knows whats hiding out there.." He finished, though he wasn't speaking in a hard, stern voice. It was much more calm this time around.
Mathias took his hand from Kristi's shoulder and looked back at Jenkins. "We'll mark him as MIA for the time being."

The Radio reciever buzzed for a second and then this was heard."This is Sergent Bisenti, Do you Copy? If so don't yell. If you do, I'm as good as dead. Over." The radio whispered, Obviously he was trying desperatly to be quiet. Something was up.
On the other end of his headset, Matthew was praying to any and every god they would heed his plea of return whisper. Hiding in the bushes and tropical undergrowth of a dense jungle next to a burning warthog and four dead bodies, near a clearing full of unplesant things, He prayed.

Sergeant Bisenti's reply filled his ear peice. The Lieutenant paused for a moment, then spoke softly, complying with the Sergeant's request. He had a feeling something was up, and for now he wasn't about to bash on the Sergeant for leaving the base. Mathias sent a reply back;
'OK Sarge, whats going on? Over..'
