((And how many of these pages were without me, the Ether's other loving creator? Here is the problem I am having with posting. Right when I get a grip on what is happening, the RP skyrockets another five pages. I am constantly lost. Now, I am not blaming anybody here but myself.

I would be keeping my nice little routine of logging on for an hour or two each day, but I am too busy trying not to fail 10th grade. Only recently did I find a reason to care about my future. In light of this, my computer time has been replaced by schoolwork and studying. I pray that this will take a turn for the better, come summer vacation.

So when I ask what's going on or don't understand, please just bear with me.

In a matter of seconds, the Great Sequoia was surrounded by Shadows and Shadow Beasts, roaring and snarling, waiting eagerly to fell their targets. A new type of enemy was with them as well; large, winged beasts, hellish birds of prey screeching and wailing with ear-piercing loudness and gnashing terrible, drooling mouths lined with thin, razor-sharp teeth. These creatures also spat acid from their maws, so pure and strong that they would melt through flesh and bone in a matter of minutes. The dark man from earlier appeared also, standing in front of the great tree. He looked around, examining everyone there through bright-yellow eyes.

He pointed at them, laughing quietly.

"Kill everyone but the boy in white. I want him alive."

Only Calentine possessed the capability to see, all-encompassing, in how much deep sh*t the entire Sequoia's internal population found itself. In this moment of distraction, Calentine took the initiative to pull away from a hopefully lax grip, which would either prove to be so or not, causing consequences if not. But away Calentine did cartwheel (take that how you will), aiming for the swords on a nearby bench-like object.

Into a table Calentine crashed and, with his injured-but-rapidly-healing-shoulder, crumpled to the floor in pain. Oh, the boy would be up in a few seconds again, because his was a fighting spirit, but this was a precious opportunity the enemy would not waste.

Onstaan was currently a lizard--something similar to a horny-toad, to be precise--inside a space far too small and cramped for his larger, dragon form. To change into the more powerful form was to kill every inhabitant inside the interior of the Sequoia.

The dragon-turned-lizard scampered toward the nearest exit with hasty hope of being able to transform before it was too late.

Regond and his fellow Guardians would find it in their best interest to make their way to the Great Sequoia, as that was where they would likely soon find all their humans, who were most likely going to go in the same direction.

"Anybody remember what that old dude was saying?" questioned Shef, who had unsurprisingly forgotten any and all instructions. He was pulling himself out of the water, trying to dry off as the others were (should) be doing. The Great Sequoia was visible in the distance, albeit a good hour's walk away or more. Harling would recognize the Sequoia as his own residence of late.

((Reign, Calentine, Alhiria, Holly, and probably Falian are at the Sequoia. All other Guardians (besides those of yours and Hayato's in Sylstern) are with Regond, and all humans, including Shef, are with Shef.

Regond's group is nearing the Sequoia, although they're not there yet, and Shef's group is at the river edge, on the correct side. They can see the Sequoia in the far distance, which Harlin knows as his medicine base or whatever.

Either way, we cannot continue until some of the others get online and post.))

Alhiria yelped as Reign leaped up.

"WHAT THE HELL?!" The wolf roared, her hackles raised.

The phoenix screeched.

"GET BACK!" She roared, blasts of wind originating from flaps of her powerful wings tearing the shadows around Calentine to shreds. Hastily, she snatched him up by the shirt in her beak, taking to the air.

Reign's mind went to one person. Whirling - ignoring the state of her hind legs - she rushed towards a certain room inside the tree.

"FALIAN!"

Queenie paused, sniffing the air.

"There is a sour smell in the air," she commented, her tail lashing. "It's coming from that huge tree in Remli. Like sulfur. What on earth?"

Marina paused as well from where she padded along in her cat form, blinking in curiosity.

"HUH?"

Leaping onto Shef's head to get a better look, she peered into the distance.

"Something's happening over at that big tree."

Floreta gasped at her words - though they were not the cause - and her knees gave out, making her collapse against the ground as a shriek tore through her mind. Whatever that new creature was, it was now attacking Alhiria - who had taken to the sky with Calentine in tow.

"ALHIRIA!" She cried raggedly, holding her head as her skull swelled with a pain fit to burst it. "ALHIRIA!"

"Shhhh... let no hate break past your lips."
