"Wait, Will!" Lydia called out, wanting to follow him and to help him. But with their child still not even a day old in her arms and being weak from giving birth, there was little she could do. If she knew any curse words suitable for the moment, she would have said them. Regardless, the pyschic felt a pang of pity in her heart for Reno; Mauser had most likely corrupted him, and she knew that Will would not hesitate to kill him. There was also guilt, as she felt she could have helped Reno avoid this by talking to him when he had come to her room that one night. She could have talked him into staying, could have convinced him to not do this, but she had been selfishly waiting for Will and had given Reno barely a word. When would she learn that even in this world, putting herself before others was a grave crime that would only result in pain for her and others. Perhaps Mauser was right in that respect.

Skiaska's grin was covered by her face-mask, but her eyes were half-closed in a form of a smile. It faded slightly when she saw Lydia's face. Walking over quickly, Ski put her hand on Lydia's shoulder. "Lyds? Are you okay? What happened?" She looked briefly at Gail and motioned her to come over. When she did, she whispered to her about her injury. The woman sighed and agreed to look at it (COUGHlecture-herCOUGH) after Ski was done talking with the new mother.

Krii'Ouse walked in, pulling his hood down, and unbuckling his mantle. He looked around, and found the others. Walking into the room, he smiled. 'So, the child got a name, yet?' he asked, leaning against the wall.

Tokeru still had not left from the infirmary, having collapsed against a wall and was now sleeping leaning up against it. He was dreaming of random things, which was a great difference from usual, where he did not dream. And unlike the other nights where he dreamt, he did not remember these dreams. Like normal human dreams, they were vague and insignificant, and yet they made him happy.
Tokeru let out a slight snore.

Kerri walked in, not too long after. She smiled at Krii before walking over to Lydia, giving her a sort of concerned look. "Lydia, are you alright? You look a little worried about something." She sat on the edge of a medical bed, looking at her. Glancing over at Krii, she motioned for her fiance to come over to her as she waited for the new hunter to show up. Surely he had not gotten lost behind her.

She stared over at him, almost unbeleiving that he could be so callous about the fact that the women who had just had the baby was the wife of his new leader. He was truley a myswtery to her, and she could only pray that it was her, or she was at least there to see, the first time someone kicked his a** for being a p***k. Where she was going to say something, however, she remained silent, rolling her eyes in distaste as she turned her attention back to Lydia.

Krii's hand slammed the vampire against the wall, slowly growing longer white hairs, and black over his tattoos, on the backside, and his nails extended faintly into claws. His face seemed odd, as if a muzzle was beginning to form. 'I don't like you already.' His voice seemed to echo, or rather, there were two voices. One human-like, the other sounded hoarse, rough, and from a very large angry creature.
His face retracted, taking on it's former form. The fur on his hand faded, and the claws reverted to nails. He let the vampire drop from his hand, and turned back to Lydia. Walking up to his sister-in-law, he winked at her. As he passed Kerri, he spanked her on the rump, and continued to Lydia. 'Yeh, Lydia, what is the matter?'

Skiaska blinked at the people and conversation around her. She walks in, and suddenly, so does everyone else. Still, she couldn't erase the happy feeling scarred on her body. Sure, the marks hurt like hell, but she would survive. She blinked at the new comer, and smiled briefly before opening her mouth to say something. She was interuppted by Krii'Ouse's physical altercation with the vampire.
Ski rolled her eyes and rubbed her clothed nose, frowning behind her mask. "Krii'Ouse... As Omega, you cannot act so rashly. Even if he is a little..." She paused to look at the new vampire. "Rough, try to understand that some people will be." Shaking her head slightly, she smiled at kerri, noly shown through the upturning of her eyes, and then focused her gaze on Kiriyama. "Hello. My name is Skiaska."
Gail suddnely came over and Skiaska frowned. With a sigh, she placed a clothed kiss on Lydia's forehead and went over to the doctor. Tugging up her sleeve, she revealed the blood-soaked bandages. Gail peeled them off and began working on it. She made little somments about the metal shards and torn musclews, but Ski just whistled a sarcastically happy tune when Gail finally snapped at her...

"You have no idea how grateful I am for my child." Lydia said, her eyes narrowed to slits as she stared down the new vampire hunter. It took a great deal to make her upset at someone, yet he easily rubbed her the wrong way. She turned to her child and gently stroke her cheek, not commenting on the two milky white eyes that stared back for a moment before they closed again. "Will and I have decided on Aurora as a first name, but we have not come up with a second name yet. He likes Faith, but it seems very flat and empty to me. I am sure we will decide on something, though."
Aurora grabbed ahold of her mother's finger again, her grip strong and tight. "Will recieved word that Reno was spotted firing on Hunter's. He went up there to deal with the situation. I have little doubt of what will happen, or has happened, to Reno."

Edith came into the infirmary a while after calming herself down, a few hunters had been shoved over on her way, but none had died, better yet, none had broken anything either. As discreetly as she could, she entered the infirmary, remembering not to slam the door because of her neice and struggling to walk normally and breathe normally. She wanted nothing more than to stomp around everywhere, slams doors, people walls, and to huff angrily as she did so, maybe shout a little.
Of course, she had to walk into the room right when everyone in the room, minus her sleeping fiance, was talking about Reno. What calm aura she with-held as she walked into the room was immediately set loose, tears forming and her evidentally cringing as she'd stopped directly in her tracks, in the middle of the room.
There was no sobbing, there was no grumbling. There was just an angry, frustrated frown topped with a saddness in her dark purple eyes. She did not wish to disturb anyone, so she held in her sobs, her shouts, her everything. However, she did not dare announce her presence, God knows what she would do.

Skiaska winced at a piece of metal that caused more blood to flow down her arm. But, she knew better than to complain. In response to Kiriyama, she granted Kiriyama with a soft chuckle and the upturning of her eyes' corners. He couldn't see the thin blush on her cheeks, but Ski had the feeling he knew about the uprising in body heat. She snapped out of it when he talked rather tactlessly about Reno, especially when Jag alerted her of a new presence in the room. Nonchalantly moving her head to the side, she focused her eyes and looked at Edith. Recalling Edith's... new found powers she directed a message to her. Edith, what is wrong? Are you alright?
Skiaska bit her inner cheek when Gail began sterilizing the wound for the third time. Finally, the bandages were being applied. She sighed quietly when Gail finished and gave her strict orders on how to treat it until it healed. Three to four weeks? Jag... WIth me finally back, it's going to be more like... One to two. With it cleaned so properly, I could even say five days. Ahhh. Thanks babe... Jag made sure to give her a nice throb in the temple for that one. Hey! The headache receded quickly.
