Aithne awoke with a small start. Had she fallen asleep? She looked about the room, noticing an odd new face pestering another vampire. She yawned silently. Who knew she could still feel fatigue? Then again... who knew vampires could feel anything?
She removed a book from her trench-coat pocket, opening to a page and starting to read, seeing no reason why she should leave the comfort of this room.

Aithne looked around at the vampires conversing, meeting others. A feeling bubbled in her stomach, frustration? She stood, her once peaceful solstice now gone, and left the room, perhaps to find someone she could meet or maybe already knew.

While Aithne slept, David managed to sneek out for a few moments to go for a little stroll around the coven grounds. For months now, he'd had a couple thoughts filling his mind every minute of the day, but one thought prevailed out of all. The one thought that was the most vital and important to him; the virus.
It still was a mystery to him in many ways, but now, he knew. He knew what it could do, and even though it was only a tad bit off of what he calculated would happen, he was oddly afraid of it. It was the one thing he had dreamt of since he thought it a possibility. The way out.
Selfish or not, he was not ready to share what he had discovered with the other vampires, not because it would risk him being killed, but more or less he just did not want to share. It had been just over a good two centuries now, he had been tampering with the human "Alchemy" at first to see if there was a way to change what already was with him, but to little success. Ever since those trials with alchemy and the prospect of mortality, David's eyes had not rested for many years, he had not slept, rested, and fed on blood only when he absolutely needed to, as to put all of his time and effort into finding the one thing that would change everything in his "life", the one thing that would stop his eternal suffering and sorrow; the "cure" as he called it, but was more often referred to as the "Virus" as most Vampires wished not to even think of such a thing.
He knew it had been tried at before many times, and who knows, maybe there were some who managed to find a way. Some, one of which he knew, certainly found a way out; sunlight. From a man of respectable reputation, David's friend had found the only way out he knew, and it was not a pleasant sight.
Well, now that he had definate proof that the syrum worked, he himself had to prepare, for if he was correct, it wouldn't be long before the other Vampires caught wind of it from the humans he suspected of leeching out information. As he stepped into the Coven Main Room, he cautiously made his way to his room upstairs, eyeing everyone on the way with his hand inside his coat pocket, grasping his handgun tightly...just in case.

Jenessa was hunched over, panting, as she rested against the door. "Wow..." She gasped. "I don't plan on going out there any time soon..." She closed her eyes and took in a few more gasps of air, then pushed herself off of the door. She looked down at the small gash in her side that was itching and slowly stitching itself together. She slumped down onto one of the soft cushioned couchs, and tried to relax, but her body was to tense.

Evelyn walked into the room and gave a glance to the room, she had been gone so long that none of the faces looked familiar. She quickly crossed the room to a far corner and sat in a chair to observe and to become familiar with how things now were.
