She was tackled to the floor by her son. "Ah!" She blinked wildly, wondering what had come over her. "Rei...?" He called her mommy... Tears came to her eyes. She was barely aware Rei even knew who he was to her. When he first came to FEF over a year ago, he was just an angry child scarred from living without parents. Who told him...?
She smiled. "S-sorry, Rei... I'm sorry... I... I don't know how..." She cried on her son. After a second she looked up. Leander had gone through. She sat up.
"Where?!"

Coming to out of a daze,Fiora said few words, only to Nino. "This is your choice, you could follow your heart to where it goes or you could stay here. You have friends and many who call you family here. No one can make the final decision for you though." Fiora then smiled at Nino and gave here a hug. Wispering she said "It's your choice, you have to be able to live with it."

"Ninian?" Nils placed the tray down on the bed, then followed Ninian into the other room. He gasped, unsure of what to say at the sights: Rei crying and clinging to Nino, and The Door wide open, beckoning those who wanted to return home.
And then, it was closed. He still didn't know what to say.

Melethia was in a bit of surprise. Not only was she surprised that Rei was Nino's son. (She didn't know) She also saw Leander go into the door and it was shut.
"He's gone." She said.

Ed flinched at the sound of The Door closing, Nino's cape out of her jaws. She stared at the portalway with anxiety and anticipation. When it was clear that The Door really had closed, she tried to relax — but she couldn't shake off some horrible feeling...
Still, Nino was staying! The wolf turned and wagged her tail, grinning up at Nino, whose decision had appeared to change by Rei's action.

Ninian gasped in shock when The Door closed after only Leander had passed through it. Part of her was sad the she had not gone through, but that was a very small part. She turned to Nils when she heard him call her name.
"Nils, it's over. The Door's closed, Leander is gone, and Miss Nino is safe."
Overwhelmed, Ninian hugged her brother, trying to hide the sudden, inexplicable tears that were running down her face.

Aran rubbed his eyes as he came down the stairs, "Morning everyone-" but he stopped talking as Rei had tackled Nino and they were all gathered at the door. "What's going on?" Aran saw that Leander wasn't there, or he was just upstairs. "And where's Leander?"

. . . Then he was gone. Renault was unsure of what to say to this; in fact, he was unsure of what to say at all. As usual, he stood alone in the midst of the chaos, but this time he felt just a bit. . . lonely. And there was the other issue, that no one else knew of. . . a horrible presentiment settled over him. He attempted to shake it off, but it was no use; he seemed to be the only one in the room not happy or relieved.

Melethia dried off her eyes and looked around for her scarf. "Where my scarf?" She asked. Her little imp friend was even looking.

Amelia didn't relax the grip she had on Rhys' jacket as Nino began to walk for the door. You can't leave! she heard herself shout in her thoughts. Nino, you can't leave us! Please...! But no words came. She just clung onto Rhys' arm, eyes wide and face ashy.
The sight of Leander disappearing into the door, closing loudly, and Rhys' words made her let out a long breath. No one else had left. Leander was gone, and in the back of her mind, she felt the pinpricks of sadness, but she was too preoccupied with relief. She released her grip on Rhys' arm, only to hug him tightly. "Thank Latona," she whispered. Everyone's still here...

Ed nuzzled her furry head against Nino's hand for a moment, but a quick glance around told her not everyone was feeling too elated. Her ears detected the sound of Melethia searching for her scarf. The wolf glanced the room a couple of times and sniffed around until fabric brushed over her nose, then she snatched up the scarf with her jaws and brought it back to Melethia.
She wagged her tail, watching the dragon woman for a few moments, then trotted off to sit in front of Renault. With ears perked high she looked as clueless as ever as she gazed up at the bishop with big blue eyes.

"Then I take it he went through the door." Aran wondered where it went, but he recalled something that it would lead whoever went there back to their- Wherever they came from. He couldnt help but feel Guilty that his town didn't have a lookout, he hoped Laura would be okay.

Nino got up and brushed herself off. "I'm sorry everyone... I just got... overwhelmed. I don't know why. I can never go back. Ever. You guys are my family, and I don't know why I missed that... I'm sorry."
