Miyoko laddled stew into bowls and set them on a large sevring tray." Wait for me!" she called toward Akemi and Shiori. Miyoko walked carefully into the dining hall and was just in time to hear Mother -san say she wanted Shiori as her new maiko. Miyoko set down the soup than ran up to shiori and hugged her, voice filled with glee. "Congratdulations Shiori-chan!!" She took her arms and began to dance with her. " It's a wonderful day!!" she said.

"Oh goodness," Rain said. "Sorry! I haven't done anything all day! I just started exploring this place and... Oh... is she new?" She asked Miyoko, indicating the girl Mother-san was speaking to?

(Aw! I'm glad to see I was missed! *feels loved* Yes, college is a pain right now!!!)
Tora stumbles into the okiya with a bag full of things. "Sorry I've been gone," she says catching the bag in mid-air, "I had to run and get some things from the market! I needed some new ornaments for my hair, a new obi clasp and some art supplies for my class!" she added breathlessly. She walked into the kitchen and sat her bag on a tiny table in the corner of the room. A sweet aroma filled her nose. "Wonderful smell!" she smiles. "I'm starving!" Tora pulls something from the bag wrapped in red silk- it was a red rose comb to match the kimono she'd given Rose. She hands it to her (still wrapped) and smiles. "Here, this is for you Rose-chan."

[ Ahh! xD Sorry for the slowness!]
"Oh, Serena-san, no apology is needed! And I am honored beyond words!" Shiori exclaimed. For in truth she was! For a long time even being a maiko seemed a far away thing - and though it was something she had always aspired to, she never thought she'd actually make it there. Her pale face flushed and she bowed again, laughing at her own sudden shyness.
"Thank you, Sister. You give me a great happiness!"
She put her hands together, trying to contain the sudden joy that was near to brimming over in the form of leaping into the air like a little girl. Instead she smiled widely to Akemi:
"Oh, I think next to the oyakodon-buri would be just wonderful. Thank you very much."
Ah, someone she certainly remembered! Tora stood near, and she bowed low to her, feeling very grateful for everything just then. "Tora-san, I am glad you are here. Dinner is being set out!"
The hot and delightful scent of Miyokos' stew drifted into the room along with the girl herself, and when the dish had been put down Shiori hugged her back and laughed again. "It is!", she agreed, and even did a couple of steps from the Chou-no-michiyuki, the Dance of the Butterflies. Indeed she could see many butterflies fluttering near the windowsill.

"Tora!!!" srose said happily, turning and hugging tora tightly. "huh?" she takes the wrapped hair pin, opening it, eyes widening "Its beautiful!" wants to desperately to say she doesnt want it because its too beautiful for her, but she keeps her mouth shut. "thank you.."

Miyoko was overjoyed for her friend. She was so happy she fell down from danceing too much. " Oh,,welcome back Tora-san." Miyoko commented breathlessly. Breathing at a normal rate, she sat up and thought about the day when Mother finally annouced. " Miyoko, today you are a maiko..." she sighed and set out the soup bowls for everyone.

Dea and #Teddy# "Yes, Ayame, you may go to the market," Serena answered with a smile.
She got out what looked round, small wooden box, opened the sliding door, and put on her zori. She closed it afterwards, looking for a few sen in her obi.
As she squeezed into the market, for it was bustling with people, she found the grocery stall.
"Irasshaimase. What are you buying today?" A woman in her late twenties asked her.
"Thank you for your kindness." she bowed. "I'd like some miso paste and tofu."
The clerk got out a small bucket labelled, "MISO SHIRU", and she held out her hand, gesturing for the wooden tofu box.
"50 sen, thank you."
Ayame handed it to her, thanked her and headed to the okiya.

Akemi listened as Serena announced that Shiori was to become a maiko, she smiled broadly and wistfully thought of the day when the same could be true for her.
She carefully placed her plate next to the oyakodon-buri, where Shiori had told her. Akemi turned towards Shiori and watched her dancing with Miyoko, when she calmed down, Akemi said, "Congratulations, Shiori! I am so pleased for you!" Her eyes were bright and she smiled warmly at Shiori. "What a great day today has been!"

" Shiori will make a most wonderful geisha!" Miyoko commented with a huge smile. Miyoko finished setting out the bowls and looked at her presentation with satisfaction. " Dinner is served everyone" she said bowing to everyone.
