Behind Kyfen's back Eureka crossed her eyes and stuck out her tongue at Matthew. She was so relieved by the boy's happiness that she probably would've skipped, if she wasn't so against frivolities.
"Of course I know how to cook, it's the most basic form of chemistry there is!" Eureka whispered into the immortal's ear.
She took her backpack off and pushed a button. The top opened with a small hissing sound. She reached in and fumbled around for a bit, and then against all logic she produced a stove, a counter, a fridge and a sink from the depths of her backpack. With a small smirk she withdrew an apron with the words "Eta Beta Pi" stitched into it.
She produced a smaller apron and lovingly put it on him. She stood back and examined her handiwork for a moment. Kyfen's apron merely had the Pi symbol on it.
She came over to him and spoke in a soft voice. "Kyfen, I know things are confusing right now, and I can't really do much, but I need to know something. I have to ask Cyrea about this, but I want to know what you think first." She took a deep breath, steadying her nerves and continued. "Kyfen, would you like it if I was your Godmother?"

Kyfen... Was feeling better now. A lot better. sure, the hurt was still there; but expecting an eight-year-old to get over the loss of his father figure in life in a matter of hours was unlikely to start off with, no matter how dubious said father figure had been. So, when Eureka 'Popped the Question' on him, as it were, he was kinda surprised. From what Yata had told him, Eureka was... Cold. Scientific. Not this kind, caring person who showed herself to him. I wonder why she's so nice to me occured to the boy, but he pushed it away. Pushing people away, not expecting them to like you before you'd even met them, that wasn't how a nice person acted. That wasn't what a hero would do, and Kyfen thought heroes were even more important than ice-cream.
Anyway, the popping of the question. Kyfen was surprised, yeah. That, and a little apprehensive. "I didn't know you were Christian..." He said, a little confused. The Immortal of Technology in a church didn't quite seem to fit. Kyfen's face frowned slightly as he tried to imagine it... Then he noticed Eureka's expression, and realised that, in truth, he was was being irrelevant. Sure, he wasn't quite sure what was meant by the whole 'godmother' thing, but what he did know is she was making the offer to help him. That was important. That was good. So, a slight smile appearing on his face, Kyfen nodded minutely. "Ok. I would like that a lot." Looking up at Matt, he gave him the little smile as well. Most psychiatrists would shake their heads at the fact that this kid, unable to die and having gone through torture, isolation and bereavement, was still able to smile. They, however, didn't have the friends Kyfen had. They didn't have his miracles, either.
There are two ways to {live}: you can {live} as if nothing is a miracle; you can {live} as if everything is a miracle.

He smiled at Eureka, "well sorry, I can't make pie." he addmitted as he stared at her. Slightly star struck. He didn't mind if she was the godmother, he just, wanted to be something. "And if Cyrea decided's to be a b***h and not let me adopt you buddy, well, I'm being your god father." he elbowed him playfully, "wether the both of you like it or not." He kissed the top of Kyfen's head, starring at Eurkea, he held his hand out for her to to shake. "It'll be a plasure working with you."

Judging by the expression on Kyfen's face, Eureka knew that the boy did not understand the meaning of a 'Godmother'. Smiling sweetly she explained it to him. "Listen honey, a godmother is basically someone you can go to if..." She paused, thinking of a delicate way to put it. "...This. Happens again."
When Matthew stuck out her hand at her she grinned in an almost predatory way. She enfolded his hand in a grip like a vice. "A pleasure to work with you too Matthew, although we have to run the god mother/father thing past Cyrea first. I'm sure we'll make many a blight together...In the mean time, let's make pie instead of pain."
She turned to the kitchen and began to get out the ingredients for pie.

Cyrea appeared in the makeshift kitchen. "Hello. My inspecting has told me that Yata is actually-"
The great hand that stops characters from giving away huge plot spoilers dropped from the sky and over Cyrea's mouth, clamping it shut.
Cyrea struggled with the disembodied hand(it wasn't bleeding or anything, it just sort of stopped where the wrist would be)for a minute, then made a movement like she was sighing, and out of her robe, she produced one of those whiteboards and a black marker. On it, she wrote(In almost illegible handwriting that only Eureka, who lived with her, could read), So, what's this about godparents and whatnot?

Clayron woke up in the middle of a desert. "Leave it to Cyrea to leave me here. I'm through with them. This is the end of the line for me." He did not say another word as he walked into the distance.
((Try not to make funny out of this. I want Clayron to become a more dramatic character))

"Pleasure it shall be...If we don't bake me into something..." Matthew smiled, thankfull he could read minds. He gentlly picked Kyfen up, placing him on his back. Well, actually Cyrea, I was hopping to Adopt the boy as my own...Without you being the mother if that's cool...And Eureka, can have any status she wants, either mother or god mother. And whatever status is left belongs to you...And if you wont let me legally adopt the boy...Well, I'll gladly take the role as the god father.. He said treating it slightly like a play.

As blissfully unaware as ever that cosmic forces were arguing over his ownership right at that moment, Kyfen started helping Eureka get utensils out for pie-making. Naturally, this being Eureka's crib, the utensils were... Interesting, to say the least. Especially to a small boy with a fascination for sci-fi films and robots. Even the rolling pin had a keypad, covered in dozens of different little buttons. Kyfen did his best to distract himself from his adopted father's recent death, and after a while he didn't even need to keep pretending that he was having fun; he genuinely was. "Do you think we could make an ice-cream pie?" He asked Eureka, smiling cheekily.
Pie + Ice-cream = Awesome
Ice-cream melts when it gets hot... Maybe if we put the ice-cream in the pie after cooking it, or found an ice-cream that doesn't melt... He thought, seriously considering the possibility. It was a very important matter, after all. This whole Godmother/Godfather thing... It was all very confusing, but as far as Kyfen saw it it meant he could stay with the people he cared about, have someone to go to if everything went... Wrong.
He was picked up by Matt, which was disconcerting. Despite how skinny he looked, Matt was actually pretty strong. Then again, Kyfen could hardly talk about appearances being deceiving. "I don't know if you'd taste good with ice-cream." He said, cheekily.

Eureka stared long and hard into the distance. Ice cream pie? Maybe.
She turned to the fridge and started rummaging until she produced a small chemical lab. She set it down carefully and began to work. Her hands were a blur as she whirled around the kitchen, dropping all manner of things into the various beakers. Eventually she turned around and held out a small pie. It steamed with heat, but felt cold at the same time.
"Here you are. Ice cream pie. The ice cream will never melt, and the pie will never get cold. Enjoy, and if you have any ill effects please describe them in detail as I need to keep record of side-effects." She said as she handed the pie to the boy.

"Mmmm...Let me taste test that buddy, who knows what Eureka could have gone." he grinned as he pluked the pie from Kyfen, sitting on the counter, or what he thought was a slab of counter, he smiled as he pulled a fork out of thin air, sticking it in, he ate it slowly, making rather strange 'Mmmm.' noises. He grinned handing the pie back to Kyfen. "You are going to teach me how to do that right? If you don't, I'm going to end up bringing him here every two hours for ice cream pie." he said with a soft laugh. "Then again, I'll probably be back here alot...If not never leaving."

Eureka arched an eyebrow, but did not reply. Instead, she turned to one of the counters. A screen sprang up, hovering at just about her eye level. After a while she nodded thoughtfully and closed it. She turned to the assembled immortals.
"Isn't it about time we do something...productive? Much as I'd like it to, the world does not stop for ice-cream pie. Even as we speak the world waits. And I don't know about you guys but me and Matt here have some work to do..."

Matthew ruffled Kyfen's hair as he spoke, "come on bud, Eureka and I have work to do...Stay out of the way okay, I get the feeling you could get seriously hurt," he commented. Walking with Eureka, waving Kyfen along as he looked down at Eureka. He bent down, changing his fourm into a small boy. "TO the lab!" he exlaimed as he slid onto Eureka's back. "It'll be easier then following," he mummbled weakly.

A small group of people gathers in a dark chamber chanting. They wore robes and their hoods created shadows that covered their faces in darkness. The circled around the room chanting. The last one and possibly oldest joined the circle and spoke, "Soon we shall rise and become GODS! Soon, the ceremony will commence and we will pull forth Death! From there we shall bind it to these very stones making it incapable of leaving this place and we will walk out of here Immortals! Never to die. Free to do as we wish!" The chanting intensified. The man set down a large bowl and said, "The first piece. A bone bowl carved from the body of a dead titan. He poured a blackish green powder into it, as well. A small cloud started to rise from it. "The essence of a lost soul, that Death never collected." Finally he pulled out the third and final piece. It was a small stick. The man took it with both hands and held it over the bowl and finally said, "The last piece to summon death. Wood stabbed in the eye of a dead new born." The chanting changed to a more ancient tongue. They’ve now finished setting down the portal. Only one continued a single misplaced word would change the target entirely. After a few minutes it was done. The spells said, all that was needed done. All that was left is to bring it here. With one quick and fell swoop the stick entered the powder and struck the bone of the bowl. A bright eerie light exploded from it. The powder turned to flames, and the bowl shattered. The stick was burned up and the fragments created a doorway. The fire sprung into it. Forming the portal its self.

A light peirced the veil of darkness. It hurt. No more like it burned. It came closer and grew wider. Soon it was upon me, and in an instant it swallowed me. Whatever it was, it isn't no friend of mine.
The group waited in silence. Their anticipation growing more and more. A figure was taking form in the firey portal. It was human, by shape.
I took form and stepped out of the burning portal. I slowly opend my eyes and seen what I thought I escaped.
"Alas! Our fruits have paid off! Before us stands death it's self!" The old man shouted with joy. Soon the rest joined in with cheers.
I looked at them, and I laughed long and hard. My laugh shook the very foundations of the place. The portal collapesd behind me, and I spoke, "You have failed to summon death, Instead you summoned a dead god. One that thought he had gained eternal peace. If you have summoned death, you and the human race would be doomed, for she has a firey temper and a wit to match." I started to hover, my eyes where focused upon the old man as I waited for an answer. "If you are not death then what are you?" Confusion resonated in his voice. Fear was edging into it as well. I laughed once more then said, "If you must know you summoned the dead God of War. And furthere more, I'm also all of you're killers." I flew into one of the stronger bodys. From there I forced it to pull at the pillers using part of my strength. Soon the entire foundation began to cave in. Rocks fell blocking the only exit out. We or they where trapped down here, and I was free to roam this mortal world once more.

Cyrea looked up in a 'suddenly aware' sort of way. "He's back. That a*****e acts like he can't stand life, and yet he can't be in the underworld for a full hour." She clicked her tongue in an irritated way. "He was just trying to guilt us. He's a fool. Well then, shall we go pick him up?" She turned to smile at Kyfen. "Your dad, I mean."
