When Muraki woke again, it was night time.
He'd slept for the entire day and previous night.
"Oriya?" the teen whispered, somehow sensing that his friend was still nearby.

Glasses in one hand, his fingers pinching the bridge of his nose, Muraki appeared exhausted as he sat in his chair at the desk.
"Can you even begin to comprehend what you've done?" he asked softly, not looking at the red head across the desk.
For his part, Inoue was staring at the floor. "Gomen nasai, Muraki-sama... I... I just... I didn't know and..."
"And what? You thought that by hiding these facts from me, that this wasn't the FIRST organ or limb to have not taken, was alright?!" the man stood, grabbing a vase and slamming it into the wall. "He's got the Nipah virus you fool!"
Inoue cringed, refusing to look at the doctor.
Trying to calm himself, Muraki walked forward and placed a hand on Inoue's head.
"Luckily for me, I have an unnatural immunity. However..." his fingers tangled in the red hair, forcing Inoue's head back, their faces mere centimeters apart. "Oriya is not so lucky! If he dies... so help me I will rend you limb from limb and pluck your heart from your chest myself!"
"Onegai! I didn't know, Muraki-sama! Onegai!" Inoue pleaded, tears in his green eyes. "All I wanted was to make you proud and to play my music! Nothing more!"
"Little fool!" Muraki released him harshly. "All I can do is give Oriya doses of ribavirin and pray to whatever god I find that he won't die." he glared at Inoue. "As for you... You will meet with Minase Hijiri tonight and you WILL get his hands. I'm going to be treating you with ribavirin as well, hopefully to force your body into accepting new limbs once more. Why didn't you tell me the moment there was a problem?!"
Inoue fell from his chair onto his knees, bowing before the doctor. "I was scared... I didn't want you to cast me aside."
"I'll do more than that if Oriya dies. You are not to come into contact with ANYONE, Inoue. Do you understand me? ANYONE except for Minase Hijiri."
Inoue nodded, "Hai. Of course, Muraki-sama."
"Now... get out of my sight. But not before leaving a blood and tissue sample with the nurse outside. If she asks what's wrong with you, tell her you're a patient that we've been testing medical treatments on and they're backfiring. Understand?"
Nodding again, Inoue scampered out of the room, his red cloak already covering his body and face.
"Baka..." Muraki sighed.
He looked over at the broken vase.
Luckily, one of his aids was administering ribavirin to Oriya via his IV. Hopefully, it would at least wake up the man.
If it didn't...
