Akki looked up at Reiki not really moving her head off the counter.
"you being sweet, you dont seem to be use to it" She said smiling. She was genuinely touched at the fact the he may be worried about her.

Ryoko paused before heading upstairs a small smiling appered on her lips. It calmed her to hear that they would be staying but the talk of war made her slightly uneasy.
"As my husband said...we dont intend to leave, regardless of what may happed." She looked back one last time and headed upstairs to their room.

"Shut up." Reiki muttered, as he prepared the table for dinner. "I'm not always this sweet. I'm just hungry. How about that guy?"

"Sure." Ki replied. "So something bad is going to happen. Don't worry, when that time comes, we'll know what to do. Say.." He looked at Kagai suspiciously. "...How did you know Akki?"

"aw, your embarrassed at showing you sweet side..how cute" Akki lifted up her head from the counter and helped him set the table.
"which guy...Cort.? or Yuuki?" She looked over at the couch cort. was still pretty much passed out and Yuuki didnt seem to stirring upstairs.

Reiki glanced towards Akki as he brought the dishes to the table and replied. "Nevermind. We'll leave them with some leftovers."
Of course Reiki had a throbbing vein popped out when Akki mentioned 'cute'.
After setting the rice for two, he sat down and waited.

Akki sat down opposite him half picking at the rice and at her vegetable, her eyes kept wandering back upstairs, worried gnawing at her inside.
"your a really good cook" She gave him a half hearted smile
she did like his food but at the moment she couldn't really enjoy it, she was to worried her mind was racing to as where Yuuki had been.
"Im sorry, im not being a very gracious hostess" Akki finally managed to peel her eye away from the stair and looked over at Reiki.

"No, you're not." Reiki put some meat onto Akki's bowl. "So eat all up as a punishment. Your friend upstairs won't get any benefits by seeing you all torn up for him."
He was actually trying to figure just why was Akki worried about a bird. Reiki shook his head and ate.

Akki gave a heavy sigh and obliged to her "punishment" and ate all her food.
"you really are a fantastic cook..i could never get it right..the best stuff i can make are stews and curry, I tend to burn my stir-fry stuff...." She said taking her dishes into the kitchen. She could sense that Yuuki was still resting his breathing had finally returned to normal, which made her feel more relax.
"you must think it odd for me to worry so much over bird..but he's so much more to me than the legendary phoenix..his..the other half of my being." She said washing her dishes her back to Reiki, to hide away the falling tears.

((My internet wasn't working- but i'm back now! blaugh ))
Li stole through the window, listening carefully to the sounds on eating coming from the kitchen.
Akki has company? Li thought to herself as she tip toed along.
Li winced as a loud creak announced her presence in the house.
So much for being quiet. I guess I'll go do the social 'thing' now.

Reiki glanced at Akki's back, and continued eating his portion. "He must be very important. All the more you shouldn't be a wreck..Hm?" His attention shifted towards the sound.
"Who's there?" Reiki has been jumpy, due to not enough sleep. Travelling one night without some was a hazardous thing, and stupid too.

Li ducked her head in the door, a sheepish look on her face. So much for slipping by. She looked at the young man curiously, who's Akki's new friend? She thought to herself.
"Hi, I'm Li, I'm Akki's roommate" Li smiled at the man, trying to hide a smirk. I'd better go to bed, don't want to cramp Akki's style. Li turned to Akki, who looked dead on her feet.
"Is there anything you need me to do?" Li paused, unsure whether to speak in front of the jumpy stranger. She ambled into the kitchen to grab a snack, murmuring
"Did I hear Yukki?"

Akki whiped her face of any lingering tears and cleared her throat.
"Li this is Reiki, he's going to stay with us for a few days i think" She forced on a smile and her normal tone of voice.
'Reiki is right Yuuki needs me at 100% i cant break down whi e he is so vulnerable' She thought to herself little by little regaining her composer.

Li saw the tears, but didn't comment.
"You look really tired, why dont you go to bed and I'll get Reiki a bed?" She smiled at Reiki briefly.
"And we can kick Cort out in the morning." Li added with a wink, she was getting tired of drugging him asleep.

"no it's fine, I already set Reiki up in the spare room upstairs" She laughed at hearing her comment about Cort.

-He has finally finished up his work shop at the bottom of the Inn...he was surprised that no one had said anything or heard him. The ticking of the dozen's of clocks alone should have made Ryoko mad already. Several of his masks littered a work table, while his famous tachi hung on the wall. He had bought pieces of armor from the market, and worked on a piece of glass to fit in the armor for future use.
He was having a harder time keeping his body solid now, and figured he'd need something soon to keep his body intact. The best place for all the metal work that he had taken up, was here in the Fire Clan....but was fire good for water?

((computer trouble so my plans or being thwarted by life itself. i cant be very active right know even though there where some things i wanted to do so.......i have to try to find a way to get on at least once every day, or so, if possible. anyone one that talks to me you can run off abanden to conversation if i dont respond with in a day or so try to bare with me. Do to my internet status i may post doing alot fo things in a short amount of time like in a single post unless im at a friends and may have a few hours of computer time.))
"She is a friend you have no reason to fret pops nothing more and nothing less at the moment ha things may change may not. I fall behind in the flirting game so....." kagai said wile walking out of the inn with a shrug.
Before long kagai was knocking on Akki's front door after taking the short walk to her place.
