The blonde had noticed that the little runt had been queit the whole time while he was resting. He was a small boy compaired to Seiko, his wiry body making him look almost fragile. Hadn't the intructor said he was of the Nara clan? Akemi thought to herself as started to wonder about what kinds of things that boy was made up of. The people of this island were so diverse... it was sort of intimidating. Back at home, the girl was used to just the small village of Raikens.. so they were all simular... The girl's face showed none of her intimidation though, in fact, it still held stright and her eyes still glazed over. She was feeling so much better and she knew her chakra was starting to return to normal again.

The girl smirked a bit as she started to feel nearly at her best. She wasn't feeling worn out anymore, but rather energetic instead as she looked around the classroom again. She was trying to figure out ways to train herself and become stronger. Her eyes travled to the window where she could still see her red headed clan mate. At the rate he was going, she wouldn't have any trouble passing him up in the ranks and proving herself a better Raiken the him... Now that she was feeling better, the girl slumped back in her chair again, her mind wandering a bit as she watched the others in the room.

Seiko leaned back as he thought of what could possibly be the last symbols of Fu. They were contrasting symbols and were common. He was giving himself a riddle to solve and he didn't like it to much. They were also normal used as festival titles. So what two things answered all the placed questions before it? Something Seiko couldn't think of at that moment.

Riddles were Seiko's specialty. He played them with Udon hours of days and he had yet to lose one. Thinking to himself the answer hid from him for quite some time. When he finally found the answer he wanted to hit himself for not seeing it sooner. Muladhara was the symbol for fire and its unfriendly partner in crime was none other than the winter thief itself Ajna the fu symbol for ice. Even after a year of no Fuin concentration he had managed to remember the crazy symbols the woman taught him when he arrived tot he island. He may have a knack for the Jio way of life after all.

Feeling on his A-Game, Kolo stood up and moved to the desk next to Akemi. He looked at her, she had slumped into her chair, seomthing was different. He was facing her in his chair, then asked her. "So... Why do you hate me?" He hoped that he would get a straight answer and build trust with her. He wanted to make friends. He had helped her in the Kai technique, but then recieved no help when making the smoke. He wanted to get help when he needed it. He liked to have friends he could count on.

Akemi eye's the small boy as he made his way to the very back of the class where she sat. She continued to eye the boy as he took a seat next to her and just looked back at him with her glazed over expression as he asked her a question. Normally, she would have quickly come up with a snappy come back, but he cought her off gaurd and she couldn't think of anything else to say. So she just eyed the boy, her twisted little grin coming to her face. "I'll tell you just what I told my joke of a clan mate," she said quietly, refering to the red head still out washing up, "I don't have a reason to not like you." and that was the honest truth. She didn't have to have a reason, she just didn't like people unless they were under the catagory of things she cared about, and very few things have ever made that list.

Taken aback... Kolo only had one thought. "What would it take for you to like me? I have helped you, and even though I haven't given you a reason to hate me, you do. I don't hate you, and as you said, you haven't given me reason to not like you." He said as he leaned back in his chair. This girl almost aggravated him, but there was still something about her that made him want to get close to her. If this is what it took, it was worth it.

She just kepting looking at the small boy as she contimpalted his question... After a few moments of thinking, she turned her face away from the boy and looked stright ahead, reapeating the same words she had spoken earlier to Rolean, or close to it at least. "I don't like people, got it kid?" she said with a dark tone, her eyes snapping to him with the last half of her statement. "But I do respect certain people... and you have to earn my respect!" Her tone was bitter, and the tinyest hint of red appeared on her cheeks in her frustration as she went back to looking stright ahead of her.

"No! That is not good enough for me. Everyone has areason for what they do, and you have to have a better reason than, 'Just because.'" Kolo was getting annoyed with allusive answers. He realized he didn't know anything about her, he wanted to fix that. "What do you do in your free time?" Kolo almost immediately kicked himself for such a stupid question. It made no sense to him as to why he would ask such a stupid question.

Akemi was a little suprised at how aggressive this little boy was being... She was starting to wonder what was behind his curiosity. Though she had been suprised, nothing shown on her face as she kept it as blank as possilbe. Her dark eyes flickered to Seiko and wondered if she had sounded this annoying when she had been drilling him earlier... But she shook her head, the boy had welcomed the game, Akemi on the other hand hadn't.... So she turned to the boy and gave him a dark glare. "Want to know what I did for fun back home?" an evil little grin gracing her face again, "I liked to mess with kids. Pick on them so to say. Specially little kids like you." Again, it was an honest answer, it was a part of who she was, always trying to keep people she could care less about, away from her. IT was also an effective way to make her place of strength known to the people of her small village.

Akemi was getting quickly annoyed with this little boy. She didn't like how he was intruding on her personal buisness... She glared at the boy, giving him a moment to think over what she had just said. Hopefully it would have been enough to get him to leave her alone.... "So what do you think of that?" she asked, her twisted little grin returning to her face once more as she ran a hand through her long hair. "You feel like becoming my next chew toy?" as she said this last sentance, she cracked the knuckles of both hands.

Seiko heard the boy get up and walk back to Akemi and he chuckled very quietly to himself, but when he started to get loud his mind awoken. "Seems the runt has an aggressive bone in his body after-all. Maybe you should silence him and show him where he is. This isn't his home, and he cant do what he wants." Desperado was not one for bullying so it was surprising his suggestion but he was one for silence and never like being woken up
Seiko leaned back in his chair allowing his head to fully extended upside down. Looking at the boy and Akemi he shook his head. Having to speak for the first time in two years he wasn't very happy about but he would. "Hey runt, shut up. She doesn't like you and your making too much noise. I am trying to sleep up here." With that said he looked at Akemi slightly his blank look and raised his head forward until his chin touched his chest and he closed his eyes. As he heard Akemi's next line he shifted a little trying to hide the rather large grin on his face. She would be fun to hang out with, maybe even fight. A competition to see who could rise in the ranks the fastest. He had a lead on her by two years, but they were pretty much in the same boat.

"You're welcome," Yuki said to the Akemi as she took a piece of candy. The woman returned to working on the graduation papers and filling in the new student's rosters and shinobi profiles. They kept records of everyone here on Shimagakure and most of the paper work was left to Yuki. As she wrote and waited for Roalen to come in, the three in the room were starting to get on her nerves. "Raiken Akemi!" Yuki shouted, hearing her poor attitude and answers to Kolo. "You'll find here in Shimagakure we don't like to put up with self centered brats. Get out of my classroom right now. If you want to learn the rest of Henge, you'll have to ask Kolo to teach you some other time," the woman pointed to the Nara with much attitude in her voice and also implied that if she learned from anyone other than Kolo... there would be consequences. "Now, leave," she said glaring at the girl with her emerald green eyes. "You can go home to the Raiken mansion where I'm sure your clan leader would love to hear how you got kicked out your first day for that bully attitude of yours," the woman added in, knowing that she had heard quite a few strange rumors about the new Raiken clan leader here in Shimagakure.

Akemi never did get an answer from the boy, her head snapping forward as she heard the instructor yelling her name. Self centered brat? the girl thought to herself, her grin growing a bit wider as the teacher continued on her rant. The girl cringed internally a little bit when the instructor said she would have to learn of Henge from the annoying runt... but she turned back to the boy with a crude smile on her face. "Guess I'll be hunting you down later chew toy... Oh, I mean teacher." she said to the boy adding a playful 'tap' to his cheek and a wink as she stood up. As she passed Seiko's desk, the girl simply nodded to him, maybe she would find him later... this boy was a strong one, and she was still curious about him. As she passed the teacher's desk she gave a smile to her instructor, "It was a pleasure working with you today Yuki-sensei" she said to the woman, sarcasm heavy in her voice as she glared right back at the woman's emerald eyes, with her own dark hazel eyes. As she was walking out she waved her hand lazily in the air, as was her custom way of saying goodbye, and once outside the building, she couldn't hold back her laughter anymore. Time to go check out her new home...

Kolo touched his cheek where Akemi touched him. ALmost immediately, he put his hand down, a little embarrassed by the gesture. 'Not the way I had intended to get closer to her, but hey, whatever it takes, right?' Kolo thought as he watched her go. He was a little shocked at what Tenmoki-Sensei did, but he liked it. Hhe and Tenmoki-Sensei would get along well, or so he thought. Seiko still scared him a bit, but he didn't mind him so much, he didn't care if he got to know him, he was just a punk who thought he was tough. He hoped that now he could finish learning Henge so that he could help Akemi, who got banished and assigned to Kolo. He leaned back in his new chair, and removed the headwrap. He remembered the wink, and thought to himself, 'She is not so scary.' and awaited instructions.
