Nope, they're not. Katrina Florence and Kea Wong played her in the movies. I wanted an alternate "avatar" for live-action, so I chose Mika Nakashima. *nod*

Sometimes I feel like mine's a little boring in comparison to all these new people's I see, but I don't know if I'd be able to change. This little chica's been with me since last gen of AX~ *patpats Xell*
Hmm, all right. Can't say I recognize the names or faces, but the avs are all quite pretty, love the last one...though for some reason the first one makes me think of Tifa. Might be the hairstyle? Looks like there's a ponytail of some kind ^^;

Lol, yeah. Mika's a singer but she also does some acting in Japanese dramas. I think she had more of the rock look for Jubes.
Hm...You know now that you mention it that pic does look kinda like Tifa. I think it's the bangs that does it mostly. Must have been a subconscious thing for me since Tifa's one of my favorite game characters... xD And I'm pretty sure that's a ponytail, yeah.

Greetings Slinky here. Nice to meet you all.... well thats kinda mean and rude, another form of iceman. I dont think iceman can make a Moving angel as it is alive. Think of him as like a ice summoner of the modern day.

I'd like to think that I know enough about the X-Men universe to capitalize and unhyphenate when I want to refer to Bobby Drake. neutral Despite making automations out of ice, there are similarities between the two, to say the least. If it was snow, or something else, that may have been different. (A literal snow angel? Nice!) If it makes you feel better, I could have referred to Slinky as "Dude with the fizz-bang a la ice flavor", but that would be unneccessarily long. Never use a long word when a diminuative one will do!

a literal snow angel would not be very affective. lol if you saw how my guy fights you would see the difference. The only thing in common is well ice. But my character uses water from his body to make creatures thats it. he can shoot ice from his hands and stuff. hes not a ice man. hes an ice summoner.

I'm glad they let Iceman evolve into a great power in the comics. He's a fun character. I love when he and Sam Guthrie are on a team together like they were during Messiah Complex. They're two funny guys.
Anywho, I think that in people's minds, when they see the words "frost and ice" in any power Iceman is the natural comparison. Slinky, of course, does something different with it to let him rise above the comparison. Could you imagine if Iceman COULD make giant snow angels to sick on people... That would be cool.
Heh, I think we're goign to require any new people for a bit to be a Hellion although there are quite a few inactive New Mutants at the moment.
