Well, to the original Hellsing´s credit,
it was done during the time when the actuall manga wasn´t even half-way point.
Just like almost ANY anime series before....... stare
And as much as I recall, it did follow he original as much there was to follow,
only the ending part with Ingocnido was thoughed up. <.<
I liked the original, it had a much slower/calmish pace to it,
the new ones a tad bit faster for my liking. <.<
Althou it is visually stunning to watch. surprised
o.o Anime about Highschool girls with tanks? surprised
...........must see it. <.<"

Them Ooarai team having chobham plot armor aside, they truly deserved drubbing at the hands of snobby Russians... Going straight into feigned retreat and encirclement, and even after Erwin and friends mentioned winter+tanks+russia = STALINGRAD!!!!! Katyusha song as T-34s with KV and friggin JS in tow was AWESOME, too. re-wateched the fragment time and again... wink

Earlier in the episode you get the exposition that Pravda excels at hit and run ambush attacks and guess what they fall for oh-so blindly? Hey, you are outgunned, outclassed and above all else, outnumbered. Let's go chase that one tank that's heading towards a village, I'm sure we can get him, don't mind the remaining dozen tanks still out there, including queen stomp and KING FETHING KONG, while you drive around in tanks not meant for this battle field. Good call on giving the STuG snow tracks, hahaha, guess what gets blown off for the sake of the ********. Idiots. talk2hand

Althou it is visually stunning to watch. surprised I prefer the OVA's more myself, because they gave us the cool characters like Pip, something the anime didn't bother with! The OVA also shows off some great nazi slaughter, what's not to like? blaugh

Mine had to be this one.. burning_eyes Its hard to pick a single moment that wasnt brutally awesome. Tho the scene where the raid that drug party and you get to see people getting shot in slow-mo was rad.
