Startled into awareness by both Dimitri's cry and Sef's jump, Yue's head swiveled from one to another. Figuring Dimitri need a quick fix, he waved his hand over Dimitri's, the pale green light instantly returned. He smile at the fox and turned his attention to Sef. He placed a hand on his shoulder and asked, "Hey Sef, are you ok?"

Sef raised his head in surprise, and quickly turned it towards Yue.
"Yes," he replied simply, more than slightly confused. "Why wouldn't I be? I was simply reacting to the noise the cup made when I touched it. It was less hollow-sounding than I had anticipated, and so I was startled."

In a far off voice, as he slowly alternates between considering his paw and his cup, "Hmm? Oh, I suppose I'm fine... uh, though I think that is usually a state reserved for the living. My most recent expirament was an attempt to create self renewing internal energy source for future nanomechanical endevors." My paw hurts... but why wouldn't it hurt, they never said there was no pain in the after life, or did they? And what's more, angels have telpathy, and Albion is surprisingly empty, but why wouldn't those things also be true? "Oh well, I suppose it doesn't matter anymore, I can't use nanites in this state anyways..." Dimitri said with resignation and looked at Limbershadow.

Tears flooded his eyes as he looked at the empty cup. Looking at Sef, he said,"The world must be so different for you, isn't it?" Turning to Dimitri, he asked' "You said something about nanites right? Can you use the to Heal people to?"

"I wouldn't know," Sef replied, smiling gently. "I've never experienced your world. How would I know if my reality is any different than anyone else's?"
He slowly turned the cup upside down, and tapped on the handle.

"Oh, yes, they are capable of completely restoring severly damaged organs and tissues in a matter of hours. Unfortunately, they tend to run out of energy too quickly and can become very destructive in their last moments." Dimitri said, regaining a passion for life, "So, one must either carry an external power source, which requires the nanites to move to "refueling" stations inserted into the body, or keep ones body electricly charged, the natural electrical field in the average fur's body is not quite enough for the current models... So, using radio-chemical energy is about all that is left. I'm just having trouble in the integration, hence the need for test subjects..." He looks down at his recovered leg and paw, and his shoulders droop slightly.

"That's too bad, but I know you can make it work, Dimitri." mad You feel bad for him, I know but remember what Brahm said. You can't yet handle tha-"Shut up," Yue whispered. Taking Sef's hand from the cup, he held it in his. Looking directly into Sef's eyes, he spoke to Dimitri without moving "Make sure you catch me." Without waiting for his reply, Yue asked Sef, "Would you like to, even for a moment? I can show it to you but it takes it's toll to share senses with others."

Sef's ears flattened back against his head nervously.
"Are you making an offer?" he asked, "Or is that just a normal question?"

Smile at him, even if he can't see him, Yue replies, "It's a gift, like I said it lasts for a moment and it takes a heavy toll on me." Taking Sef's other hand and holding them between each other,Yue begins to glow. Subtly at first, then wisps of red, blue and green light begin to flow around his body. "If you want to see what I see, all you have to do is say so," he said, the light growing in strength. Casting a glance at Dimitri, he smiled, "Don't forget to catch me, ok?" He winked at the fox and turned back to Sef.

"Aye, I won't miss this time." Dimitri said, musing about his suspected angel's fear of falling But if I don't catch him, and I'm not dead, a friend would have been injured because of my negligence. Hmm, that is unacceptable! and readied himself to catch his friend.

Sef closed his eyes, feeling a bit silly. He had, however, seen the light given off by Yue.
"Fine," he said, smiling, "I want to see what you see."

scream This is a bad idea and you know it but don't worry, I'll back you up wink Smiling back, Yue closed his eyes and focused one the hands he held. The multicolored light began to shift, wrapping around their hands and then flowing around Sef's body. I want him to see with my eyes. Please lend him my sight! A single tear falls from Yue's eye to land on their intertwined hands. Suddenly the light, as if reacting to this act, surged directly at Sef's face, entering his pale eyes. "Don't be afraid, Sef, it's just what my magic feels like. It's......a....live.....,"his voice trails of as the last of the light enters the fur. I feel so weak. I know it was going to feel this way but it must be different with others who have magic too........ Yue's hands slip out of Sef's grasp as he falls backwards, away from his friend and his new magic eyes.Open your eyes, Sef, and see for yourself," was the last thing he said as he fell.

Dimitri's waiting form intercepted Yue in his fall. "Hrmph, ... well, at least gravity is constant." he grunted as shifted the feline in his arms to lean him on the counter on a bar stool. "So, how's it look Sef?" he asked as he turned to the Kitsune with a smile.
