On the other side of the door. Haph was getting concerned. Something bad was happening. Edward sounded strange, well anybody sounded strange behind a wooden door, and this other strange man was obviously distressed.

"Edward get control of yourself! Don't listen to him. s**t, I thought you we're stronger than this." Enric half growled, not letting go. He knew what would happen if Edward went there. There was no question, every vampire who knew who Edward was and the identiy of his sire would know what transpiered.

Edward reached over, his automail clamping on the vampires hands and pulling it off then taking off with unnatural speed.

Enric hissed as several bones broke and healing almost simultanisously. Quickly he darted off after the blonde. It was pointless he knew that, but he wasn't going to let it happen without some kind of a fight, since Edward himself had no choice in the matter. "Edward! Enric shouted doubling his speed but still barely catching glispes of him.

Suddnely all trace of the golden haired vampire disappeard. and a strange eerie feeling crept over the town.
Artemis had been relaxing in his courters. He was reading a book that he has read over a thousand times before. A small thud could be heard behind him and he smirked.

Enric froze mid run. Damn it. This wasn't good. "Damn it! EDWARD!" Enric yelled across the quiet town, fist colliding with a building next to him a large crater forming.

Artemis rose from his chair placing his book down," I was begining to wonder when you would show up" he said to the blank edward.
Artemis moved forward grabbing edwards neck and leaning his head to the side, "after this, its one more and you will be pure" he said as he sunk his fangs into Edward.
An unearthly scream echoed throughout the entire city, All those with sensitive hearing grabbed their ears in extreme pain.

Downstairs in his office, Marcus's wine glass shattered as it fell to the floor, forgotten in his attempts to block out the sound. Across town, Enric dropped to his knees, hands clamped tightly over his ears, even though they did nothing to block the sound.

"Marcus!!"the loud clear voice of Artemis rang through the mansion.

"Yes my lord?" Marcus said calmly, all traces of the pain caused by the yell gone from his face, as he appeared instantaniously in the room seeming to slid straight out of the shadows.
