"Okay guys." he said using the hand with the apple in it to gesture towards him. "The jutsu you guys are going to learn is called Henge no Jutsu. Basically you use this to disguise yourself. By using chakra and the ram or tiger seal-" he preformed them both quickly, with hands of expertise. "you can 'transform' into something. So I want you guys to try and turn into this rock." he set his hand on the boulder neck to him. "It's a simple enough thing to imitate, and once you've learned that you can work on transforming into other things. Like people." He set down his apple on the rock, and made the ram handseal quickly before poofing! In his place stood a much smaller person, with gleaming red hair and a white stripe of a mohawk. Lavi had been replaced by what looked like a clone of Raine. Smiling broadly the little boy spoke, "Cool huh?"
The real Raine stood in disbelief. He stared into his eyes, but recognized them as different to his own. Not at all like looking into the eyes of one of his bunshin. But Lavi had even managed to get the gold spec in his right eye. "Yeah, that is cool!" Raine exclaimed poking his cheek.
"Eh." With a Poof, and a surge of warm energy Lavi returned to his usual self. Raine's finger resting on his stomach. "Well, you guys do it five times first off." He pulled Raine's finger from him and grabbed the apple off of the Rock.

Henge no Jutsu:
Roll a 1d20. You must get an 11 or higher to successfully complete hand seal and transform into a crude image of the object. (We used a large stone) It was required of each student to successfully attempt this 5 times for the first day of training.
I had each student post the following stats with each training post;
Cp:
Train: ?/5
If a student successfully performed the jutsu, -2Cp. If a student failed an attempt, he would lose -1Cp. To regain Cp they had to rest for one post to gain back +2Cp.

Excited and full from the fresh delicious apple. Raine planted himself in front of the rock. He flung out his fingers and felt the rock, examining it's texture. After a few second, Raine thought he had the idea down pretty well. Gray and rough! Placing his hands into the ram seal, which he preferred over the tiger because it was a bit easier. He squinted a bit. This chakra thing was especially hard for him. The Tekkenseisai had never been much of Jutsu users. But that was the way of the world. Every muscle in his body tensed but still no chakra. Raine forced and forced finally a tinge of tingling sparked near his heart and Raine poofed! A lump of gray was where he once stood. After only a few seconds the lump poofed back into a slouching boy.

"Gah." he new he had failed it didn't seem anything like the rock. He changed the position of his feet a bit in the grass and rubbed his head. Determination flared in his eyes. Too familiar was the feeling of failure. It seemed that no matter how hard he tried he just couldn't succeed sometimes. But that was not going to be the case today! Raine struck up a stance and locked his fingers together. Remembering his first day of the academy Raine closed his eyes and breathed concentrating at the swirling energy deep in his core. BANG! white smoke popped from him again, but an even more pathetic lump wobbled in the dissipating sun. Noises that sounded like muffled frustration emitted from the glob, and once again the thing popped back into a boy.

"Poop!" Raine stomped about in a circle. Why couldn't he get it right! His hot head enraged Raine grabbed the ram handseal quicjkly not even bothered to check if it was right. The white excursion fell from a slightly more rockish lump this time in stead of a freakish sort of blob that had been created in his last attempt.
'Actually Raine this one looked less like poop than the last." Lavi yelled out from his post at the base of a tree, where he watched the boys work.
Hearing from inside his covering of chakra Raine popped intentionally. Turning to glare back at the relaxing teen. He stuck out his tongue to the older boy, who sent a queer look back that seemed to say "What the hell is with this kid"

Once again Raine stood. Now aware that Lavi was watching him, he position himself behind a patch of vegetation so hopefully the older boy couldn't see. "Come on Raine. I can do this." He tried to pep himself up for another try. Placing his hands together a bit more carefully this time. Raine wondered what exactly the handseals were used for. He pulled more chakra from his center. With each attempt it felt as if he were emptying. The usual poof followed his excavation of energy and once again he formed a floppy, ragamuffin version of the rock in front of him. This one still better than the infamous 'poo' rock was nothing even close to the actual thing. The boy pulled his hands apart and the jutsu dissipated around him. Raine fell back on his butt. What was he doing wrong? His hands tickled in the grass and the Tekkenseisai squinted. Could that be it? he thought staring at his empty fingers.

Raine stood up with his new found idea. That must be it! he thought making the handseal once more. "The handseal." he whispered to himself, "I was just pushing out my chakra before, but if I make it go through the handseal it will make the jutsu work!" he was sure this new idea would work. He couldn't fail now. Filling his stomach with the warm, fizzing energy. That made him feel like a can of pop just opened. He imagined paths of blue light running up through his arms and into his glowing hands. Moving the energy a long this path was hard. But soon enough his fingers were tingling with the energy. "Now!" Raine forced out the energy through his seal.
POOF
A rock appeared, glistening with each and every detail of thousands of years of the compression of minerals. Steadily it held. For ten seconds at least! The rock exploded with a singe in the air like electricity. Raine stood with a truthfully surprised look on his face. He fell back on his butt once more. Breathing heavily as if something were on his chest. His lack on energy sudden and a bit shocking. But through this Raine smiled. Laughing on the ground he rolled in the grass. "I did it... I did it!"

Shikaree stared at the Raine clone......it looked exactly like the boy....trickery it was...but...he had to do something otherwise it wouldnt be training at all. He formed his hands into what he thought was the correct seals and funneled his chakra the waay he thought it shouldve been done. AND WALLAH! Shikaree was a rock after the white smoke cleared away from him...but...it soon faded away...well crumbled away...it was a rock afterall.

Raine sighed and stood up, he had to rest a bit with his arms propping up his body before walked over and plopping down next to Lavi. "Lavi, why does it wear you out so bad?" the little boy said without looking up. His eyes were intent on the apple he was about to chomp into.
"Well, it's because the chakra you use actually leaves your body. And it's your energy. That reminds me Raine." The little boy now looked up at them. "You tend to over due it buddy. I hope you know that if you completely use your chakra so that you are totally empty... you'll die." he said this with an odd seriousness. And the small boy couldn't think of something to say back so he just took a bite from his apple. A distant poof had them turning both their heads over to Shikaree.
On his first try there was a perfect image of the rock! Raine scowled, "Not cool." Lavi smiled at Shik's success. And at Raine's reaction. The truth was that even though Shikaree might be better at preforming the jutsu than Raine, he didn't have half as much chakra and it would take a life time to get enough energy for 5 tries.

"If you don't like it, go and train!" Lavi said to Raine who was swirling his finger around a lock of grass and sucking on his apple.
"Uh eahoh" the small boy said through his apple. Pulling it away he looked up through his freaky eyelashes to look into Lavi's eyes. "I'm eating." He whined a bit still feeling drained. Not only that but he didn't want to half to take so many breaks and rest in between his attempts to preformed jutsu. So if he waited for a nice long time before going out again, he could stay out much longer. Hopefully that way the training would go more quickly because the clearing sky now revealed that the sun was heading down and he wanted to be on time for dinner tonight.

Shikaree felt a little weak really....his first try and BAM! perfect...but he felt tired...afterall...his chakra reserves where low...he was just a starting acadamy student anyway....of course his chakra was gunna be low.However Shikaree knew he would have to train long and hard to get his chakra up....maybe another try would be eminate after he got his chakra reserves to full...what little that would take.

Shikaree rose from his sitting position refreshed but soon he would lose this feeling because once again he would have to try to mimic the lustering rock that lavi had turned into."HERE WE GO!" he shouted making the seals he thought that where right and focusing and sure enough a white cloud of smoke appeared and as it cleared away a lusterous rock with shiney pebbles embedded inside of it erupted forth from the cloud its luster blinding anyone that look upon it with its magnificence!A minute afterwards however the rock crumbled and each pebble as it hit the ground disapeared like a phantasm from a dream.

Shikaree fell to the ground again tired from the draining of his chakra."well thats two perfect tries." he thought as he sat in the cool breeze watching the clouds go by."sure is pretty out here...wonder if there are prettier places out there." he thought as he looked out beyond the clouds and caught a sight of the azure blue sky...it was almost the color of his cloathes...maybe thats where the Anzan family got their idea for their noble families cloathing from....no matter it was just a pretty sight to see.

Shikaree refreshed yet again prepared to form another perfect rock formed the handseals and flowed his chakra through him. sure enough the white cloud did envelope him...but what came out wasnt what he was expecting......it was so horrible...and grotesque...itwas...it was....SHIKAREE!oh wait thats not so horrible....but after all the theatrics shikaree still was standing there unchanged...it seemed he had moved an inch and changed one of the handseals....go figure.....

Raine stood after finishing his apple. He set the core on a thick tree branch so that he could throw it away when they left. "Now I'll go do it." he told Lavi wiping his fingers off on his shorts, and taking a spot next to Shikaree. He grabbed the ram seal again and turned to the other boy, "This is so cool isn't it!" He smiled and poofed. A saggy gray excuse for a rock sat in his place. And Raine popped back, an embarrassed look on his face, it quickly turned to a smile and he belted out laughing. "Ha that was great!" he laughed at his failure and it didn't seem to hurt his feelings as much as it would have if he had been alone surprisingly.

Raine straightened his back to his full height. Still smiling from before the small boy stretched out his fingers and placed them in the tiger form this time. He wasn't exactly feeling confident more like determined. Keeping his eyes fixed on the rock Raine built up chakra in his stomach, but it was so hard to control. It felt as if every cell in his body wanted to reject the forced energy. Raine couldn't even manage to poof, the chakra escaped up through his chest and made his heart beat faster. He felt almost invigorated with the energy. "Eh, I changed my mind, this is the worst." he joked in between pants.
