Hmm. I can see that you do not care who is around you, so long as you are somewhat familiar with them. Interesting. You know what though? That can be very dangerous. I don know why, but I like you and wish to tell ya a few things that will help ya in life. One, never keep your back to someone you do not fully know, and even then, be wary. Two, never simply ignore people like me. Sure you don know me too well yet, but trust me, if you were older and I decided I didnt like you, and I don't not like you understand, I would waste no time in slitting your throat.
~Sitting on the floor now he tilted his head.~
So what's that book you are reading?

*Micha would flip another page and stare intently at the pictures, before finally acknowledging Truinthil's presence. When Truinthil sits on the floor, Micha finally looks up from the book and stares at him. More or less with a look that seemed like the boy was trying to stare through him. Micha had done so, at least once before when he was smaller, only the target of his eyes was Mastema at the time. They were a medium grey like Thanatos' eyes but their internal design was different, seeming to pull toward the darker iris, and there didn't seem to be much of any kind of life in them. Micha's facial expression didn't seem to change either; cold, uncaring, perhaps bored, annoyed, one could never tell for sure*
Micha: . . .
*Truinthil's energy was familiar, but perhaps it wasn't the familiarity but the fact that Micha probably just didn't care enough, not to let Truinthil get so close. As Micha was at the end of a long table, Truinthil would have been beside him on the floor. At least Micha had not turned his back on Truinthil, and for the moment he was not ignoring him either. Perhaps Truinthil's words were lost on the boy however, as all the child did was continue to stare at him with his empty eyes. As the child did not seem to speak, he would also not answer Truinthil's question about his book*

~Tilting his head the other way while looking at the kid Truinthil smiled a bit.~
Alright then. I take it that you don talk and by the look in your eye, you arent the most active kid. You do seem intelligent though, however masked it is. Hmm. You know what though? You should be a bit more active. I never experienced a childhood and at times I wonder what it would have been like. Would I be different? Perhaps you should consider having yourself a childhood. Not to say that you arent right now of course, but at least have a more active one. Then again it is your choice. And also, you may not even be listening to me and seeing as I have no real way to tell, that shall be left to someone else to decide.
~Sitting on the floor as he was, Truinthil was still just about at eye level with Micha, seeing as he himself was seven feet tall.~

*Micha blinks a few at Truinthil, that was perhaps one of the few responses Truinthil would receive from the lad at all. Even when Truinthil had first set eyes on the lad he did not speak, merely blinked and watched the exchange of words between him, and his father. If Micha was only looking at pictures, then at least he'd chosen a place with pleanty of material. Though maybe Truinthil was wrong? Micha, though appearing rather "blah" in most actions, was awake most of the time and even now was at least doing something. So perhaps he was far more active than Truinthil or anyone else gave him credit for. Being one of Mastema's children, perhaps like Thanatos, Micha was simply not destined to have a childhood. The ocassional occurance would bring at least a spark of interest to the citadel, so it wasn't all that boring*
Micha: . . .
*Micha turns his gaze away from Truinthil slightly and pats Fenton. The creature was dead asleep, not having the same will to stay awake like Micha had*

~Truinthil laughed a bit and shook his head at the kid.~
You're really somethin, you know that? Quiet no matter what. Brain likely workin faster than most adults, knowin the genepool you come from. Heh. Wonder what you will be like when you grow up. Probably a very dangerous fighter I'll bet. The silent ones often do grow up to be the most deadly.

*Well Truinthil was right about one thing, and that was the saying "always watch out for the quiet ones". However Micha wouldn't be silent forever would he? Also, Truinthil only knew about half of the boy's genes, not the other. Knowing how fast Thanatos was forced to grow up, perhaps Truinthil wouldn't have to wait all that long... maybe. Micha finishes patting Fenton and goes right back to his book*

Do you think though, that you could speak just once? If not though, you could write it, if you do know how to write. Because I am very curious as to who your mother is. I know that Thanatos who is likely your older brother, was born of Aeris, sort of. Is Aeris, or a clone of her still around, or is your mother someone else? Because you really don look too much like Aeris.
~Truinthil leaned forward a bit, not really expecting an answer.~

*The boy looks up from his book again and looks over to Truinthil. He could write, that was something taught to him durring his first two lessons. Just how well he could write however would remain a mystery for now. Truinthil was also correct in asming that Thanatos was at least his half brother. Talk of clones was confusing however, as the topic was never something mentioned. Oh the things Truinthil could go on about, talking to Micha on tangents and rants about his younger years. Micha also didn't know who or what Aeris was, and in all likely hood he never would. Micha did seem to look more like Mastema, though there were definite adopted features from Nana aswell, such as a softer jaw-line and slightly more rounded facial features. Unlike Thanatos, Micha was fully angelic in nature though it was hard to tell, his aura wasn't really all that normal*

I thought so. I think it is safe to say that it isnt Aeris though. Even though the tower keeps me from sensing who is in it, I can faintly feel people in there from time to time, and the only person in there that is older than a child and that I don recognize, isnt Aeris. I wonder who your mother could be. Oh well. A question with an answer for another time I'm sure. Now then. Let's see if I cant reason out some method of communicating to you. Can you nod for yes and shake your head for no if I answer a question? If so, do one of them now. I'll take a shake of a head as an answer implying that you don wanna answer questions.

*As if to spite Truinthil, Micha merely turns back to his book and continues flipping pages. Not a very friendly thing to do, but then again he wasn't Truinthil's friend. As for Truinthil being able to faintly feel people inside the tower, the only reason he could feel Nana's presence at all was because she was outside of the room on the 99th floor. If she had remained there, then Truinthil would not have been able to sense her at all. Truinthil might notice a pair of Mastema's gloves on the child if he were to look. Fitted to the boy's size, and along with it a bracelet with a diamond underneath it, and pressing into the boy's skin*

Okay then. I'll take that as a nearly insulting remark for me to buzz off. Too bad kid. You are far to interesting for me to just leave. You got some nice glvoes there. A pretty bracelet too, though it does look painfully tight. Does that penetrate your skin kid? Your dad do that? Not very nice of him really. I may like some aspects of him, but sometimes I really truly begin to think of ways that I might annihilate him. That wont come for a good while though for I'm sure that we both will need each other to use in the future. Use and be used. That is the nature of mine and your fathers relationship. Heh. Quite funny really.
~Truinthil suddenly looked as if he were remembering something particularly funny, which he was. The time he had tricked Mastema into creating a clone for him. What splendid fun indeed.~

*Thanatos had recently loosened the bracelet, so there was pleanty of room, however it was still under the glove pinning it to the boy. No doubt if it were removed, then there would be marks left behind. Micha didn't seem to mind or care though. His glove would have to be removed completely to free the bracelet, that or Thanatos would have to do it later on, by disconnecting a link, sliding the bracelet out from under the glove, then reconnecting the disconnected link. Still, the boy seemed to continue on with whatever it was, that he was really up to. Words of "annihilation" seemed to have no effect, nor did "use and be used". Perhaps such words and their meanings were still too advanced for the boy?*

Perhaps...
~Tilting his head again Truinthil reached forward to poke at the glove and bracelent, not intending to take it off, but merely to look at it. He was curious as to what it might be, and a touch would be all he needed to see what it was.~
You don mind do you?

*As the bracelet was on Micha's left arm, and Truinthil seemed to be on his right, he reached across the table, the book, and the boy's line of sight. Since he could no longer see what was on the pages of the book, he waits for Truinthil to finish whatever it is that he's doing. Both gloves were Mastema's old ones, he now wore the gloves Thanatos had made. The bracelet was merely that, a few links and a gem. Why the boy had it, and what it meant would more than likely remain a mystery. Perhaps the other children had them too? Truinthil could always see later, if it truely made him curious*

~Touching it and finding it was simple metal, he frowned. It was the gem then that was the key to it all, but he decided to leave that alone for the time being. He had an idea of what it was, but not how it worked or the magics that may be contained within it.~
Well then kid. I'll be going for now. Maybe next time I can get you to talk eh? Well, until then.
~Truinthil stood in one fluid motion and walked out of the library.~
