"There's really not much to explain it's a day for giving thanks for what you have.. and eating.. mostly it's about eating."
Helena smiled..
"Lucky for me I'll have Ferdinad to help me out in the kitchen this year. In any case I need to get back to the museum.. You take care dear and stay out of trouble and that goes for you as well Achilles.."
Helena hugs Cassie and gives her a kiss on the cheek. She then does the same to Achilles.. After her mother leaves Cassie looks at Achilles confused...
" I wish I knew why Chris felt so uncomfortable? "

Teddy knocked on the door first before entering, "Wallace?"
Aw man, that was just pitiful...there he was, sprawled out on the bed. It sucked to see him like this. He was normally so happy and optimistic, but this...Teddy sat down on the bed beside him, gently rubbing his back. "I have his little ...horn flute thing. He left it outside the door, so I took it."

"Uh...ok?" Wallace rolled over onto his side, peering up at Teddy. "You know, you'd think that he would give me some sort of shot. I didn't even rat on him when I found out about some of the stuff he did. I ... actually kind of liked him, and ..." Wallace shrugged, then rolled right on over, flat on his face once more.

Achilles blinked back his surprise at Helena's affection displayed toward him. To date (aside from Cassandra) only his own mother, Thetis, and Patroclus, showed him such heartfelt emotion and this woman only knew him through his father.
Achilles turned his head slightly at his sister's question and shrugged.
"I admit I am a novice at mortal emotion Cassandra, but I would imagine it would have something to do with the fact you had your mother with you. She treated me as a son, and Chris was relegated to simply her daughter's mate, if she even saw him as that. Chris's mother abandoned him, did she not? So seeing such family affection, and with this...Thanksgiving, approaching, it could not have felt good to him."

"He was a douche to Billy yesterday too when Billy tried to apologize. Took a swing at him. I almost creamed him, but I didn't...because I feel kinda bad for him. Maybe try it again when he's in a better mood?"

Billy stared for several long moments at Hartley's dorm room door that he disappeared behind and he sighed audibly.

He reached up and knocked lightly.
"Hartley, open up!"

Hartley laid down and fell asleep immediately. He always slept a lot during a 'down' cycle, and this was no difference.
Everyone was gossiping about him on campus now. Pairing him up with Billy and Teddy in ways he knew were going to be trouble for him in the future. It had been bad enough when it was just James Jesse cracking insulting gay jokes at him. Now it would be coming from all sides, and with his cybernetically-enhanced ears, he would have to hear all of them.
Unless he fixed this. He just needed to figure out the right song.

"That's Billy...everyone is kind of a douche to Billy. He has gotten waaay more tolerable since he started dating you though." Wallace slowly sat up, flopping onto Teddy. Cassie knew that Achilles was good friends with Danielle. Plus knowing her brother... he was always up for a good fight.

"He's going to panic without it. He's a freaking genius with music. You have no idea the stuff he can do with vibrations. Remember that thing he tried to give you to give to Billy? How he fiddled with that to make it magical or whatever? He does that sort of stuff with his flute too. He just lets it solve all of his problems for him, and he doesn't handle s**t like a human being. I don't know why I thought I'd be allowed in that bubble he's in. I don't know why I thought I was different. I'm not." Wallace looked at the flute case, nudging it with a finger. "For now, we'll hold onto it. He needs to grow up and be a human for once. Could you do me a weency little favor though?"
