Well I have so many story characters... some of them I have art of and some of them I don't. Thistle's really become... what's the word I'm looking for? lately.
Thistle's got a lot of looks as well. She's a master of disguise... well as much as she can be as a 4th level character... XD

Ooh. She sounds like a very interesting character indeed. You make me miss my D&D days.
Lue isn't as nice as my other two. He's a bit more devious. I wanted a bad boy to play with since I have the charismatic Vartan.

I would love to get Bri-art of him.... but I'm trying to keep him offline because I dont want him stolen...
Although if I EVER finish one of these stories I'm attepting to get done written started, I know I'll need a cover. And if I dont use it myself, theres a couple very good artists in this guild. 3nodding

Evey: Thistle has been a blast for me to play. I know what you mean about the bad boy thing... Thistle is, I think, the worst character I have ever created. And she's been a BLAST for me to play.
Most of my D&D has been DMed by my dad... in that setting I was never really comfortable playing a morally loose character. It just... I mean it's bad enough that Brindy's Husband is one of the NPCs in the campaign I'm playing with Dad & my brothers right now. rolleyes
Vin: I know what you mean. There are a lot of my characters that I don't put info about online for that reason.

I've spent the past couple days working on the profiles for the characters in my new original story.
My boyfriend thinks I'm overdoing it since I'm doing things like taking into account genetic inheritance and implied race (the story is about anthropomorphic furry-type characters but I'm associating them with human races for things like their names) to determine their blood type.
This is probably why I haven't gotten around to writing the actual story yet.

I'm very excited. X3 I've been working on assignments with not a lot of creative wriggle room lately, and right now I've been given a theme to work around and am able to pretty much design my own update around it. <3

ooh, oc talk <3.
when y'all talk about oc, do you talk about original characters that you have created mainly for roleplaying (like the ones i see on forums like this)? or do you also use the term oc for creative writing purposes, like when you are writing short stories or long stories?
i still have this story in my head about a girl who had no idea that she descended from an overthrown/exiled ruling family (kind of like the romanovs) and has six servants/guardians who are forever bound to serve her family. i started writing it a few years back, got to 400 pages, then my computer crashed. i lost it all. ack.
in other news, phew! i finally fished enough to outrank a bot in the bass'ken rankings. i am going to fish more for the rest of the month so i can outrank the other bot who is higher up in the rankings.

As someone who doesn't roleplay, mine are strictly for writing purposes. My 5 main oc's are from a long story but I also write them into shorter stories. In different universes too although sometimes it is difficult since they all have pretty well established relationships together. I used them for my NaNo story and two have an established romantic relationship but I couldn't write it into the story so early and that was a b***h and a half, since they would not listen! They are about 7 years old if curious.
That sounds awesome Meri! You (and the entire art team of Gaia) are so creative I'm sure that it is going to be something awesome.

Oh my God oh my God oh my God...there's this five foot nothing Filipino man who's the singer in a Journey cover band and he sounds EXAAACTLY like the lead singer of Journey. EXACTLY. It's killing me to look at the screen (YouTube) and see this man and hear Steve Perry coming out of the speakers. I swear Steve Perry's own momma wouldn't be able to tell the difference between this man and her son with her eyes closed.
