You want noise? I'll give you noise. Try having the phone ring EVERY time you put it down from the last phone call-SIX TIMES IN A ROW. Try having a conversation with someone who speaks French when you speak English while they're trying to describe a problem to you about a piece of equipment you're not familiar with. Try having the boss, who's out of town, keep calling and telling you to do things even though you're BUSY ENOUGH AS IT IS! stressed
Make things worse, I have to fly out to Rhode Island tomorrow (by myself) so I can engage in the fun backbreaking labor of setting up our display booth for the exhibit hall at the American Institution of Conservation Conferance, so that I can have another fun eight hours of smiling like an idiot showing off our equipment, and then stand around in an overcrowded meeting hall while everyond drinks and talks loudly for three hours. This is my personal HELL.
