Travis Celendel don't know why, but I'm having a hard tim not throwing my laptop across the room in a rage anytime he mentions touching Takara. I think... you need to put the laptop down then. Though I sorta understand your rage.

Perhaps you're angry cause you just posted and so had to be in character?...I feel some of my characters' emotions from time to time as well. Or maybe Takara's just really likeable...

Know what I hate more then playing against noobs? Playing on a team with noobs...
So, I was playing Castle Fight, and it was 4v4. Right off the bat, a guy on our team leaves. No biggie, we have a bot to take his place. So then, pink (Forgot his actual handle), starts opening his mouth and talking trash like he's epic. So me, being the a** that I am, don't let it slide. So we ended up arguing the whole fight long. What's worse, is he is the most unoriginal noob alive with insults.
I turned around and told him if he fails at life at much as he fails at this game then he should slit his wrists and just end it now. Then he goes "Yea, well I slept with your mom." Luckily, there is always the ultimate counter, which I used to make him leave: I feel so sorry for you then, my mom has every std known to man. You might want to get yourself checked out soon.

How many gigs of ram does your computer have? Vista runs best with 3 or more. Mine has 3 and runs better than XP ever has for me. Vista uses all available resources. So when you don't have very much resource wise, it runs worse than it should.

Update all of their libraries do full system scans when their all done. I run them monthly. But if you keep having issues, do it weekly.
The OS definitely has it's quirks. But when run properly, it's not nearly as bad as everyone complains it is. I find it's mostly computer ignorance that gets people to think an OS is terrible, unless it's a Mac (because they are terrible. When a computer can't handle programs tailor made for the OS and freezes or crashes 20 minutes after being turned on, it's bad.).
Thing is when buying a computer, the thing is don't get anything with integrated hardware. Less than 3 gigs of RAM(specially now a days), anything with less than average video cards and sound cards. Now they tend to use outdated crap like GForce 6500s when the obvious would say nothing below the 8000s and preferable, the high in the 8000s. After all, we're up to the 9000s now. Before buying, research components. And ask questions to the people helping you. See if they know what they're talking about.
I was out looking for a replacement for my old computer about half a year ago. I was up at office depot and I got help from one guy. He pretty much said don't buy anything here. Or at any other electronics store. Use the internet and find out what you can get in your price range and look for the best one. I got mine from Best Buy. But I only chose it after talking to a friend and after researching the brand, and the actual computer. It was awarded best gaming computer of 2007. So it was an obvious choice.

I just joined up on another RP. It's pretty neat. Relies on a DnD-esque dice based combat system. It's pretty cool. It's based on a book where electricity fails and gun powder begins to burn differently. So the world is thrown into chaos.
I just wish the other participants would change their RP style and become more descriptive. But they're new to it.
So far, the bad guys are having all the luck. Out of two arrows fired by our side, there' bound to be two dodges. One was dodged already. gonk And I rolled a friggin' 4 on a 10 sided die.

Is it on Gaia? Because I would love to check it out and join. I might learn some things, I had been thinking of doing such a thing with this RP for a long time now, but didn't know if or how it could be done. Obviously, there would be exceptions and rules, like with the Xiaeriene vs. Emperor battle, the Emperor would like, always roll like 900 or higher out of 1000, Xiaeriene would roll 1-1000. Meaning she would have a greater chance of losing than winning.
My Vista works fine, it just seems to give BSoD a lot for some reason caused by my modem, and my games(Especially mmo's like RO and ToP) seem to freeze up a lot and have to be closed through ctrl+alt+del end task

Yeah, same with me, I have games that freeze up a lot, but I also seem to get a lot of slowness to my comp in general. How do I check the RAM?

You need to download those programs I mentioned and and run them.
Everything would have to be run off of a 100 sided or lower with up to 20 at once here on Gaia. If I'm not mistaken each die has it's own damage class.
If we did that, I would leave Travis to come up with the rules for it.
But yeah, the RP is on Gaia. It's all normal human beings. No magic, no powers, no demons, nothing of that sort. It's survival in an energy apocalypse.
My character is an Ex Marine turned bounty hunter who studied two martial arts(karate and Judo), is good shot, and has a nose for strategy. So I have some large bonuses(+5) in both melee categories and with short blades(knives and short swords) and a small bonus in marksmanship(+2).
