The girl now known as Linda Lang figged in her new school clothes, she wasn't used to clothing being so .. restricting.
*Linda turned to the pretty red-head, Lana, beside her.*
"Are you sure you can't come with me?" She asked more then a little nervous.
Lana patted her back reassuringly.
"Oh Kara. I'm only a few blocks away if you need me. Besides this school is for special people. An old friend of mine goes here. Clark Kent. He'll help you if you need anything. And remember I'm only a phone call away."
*Linda hugs her friend.*
"Your my best friend, Lana, I don't know where I would have wound up if you hadn't found my ship. I just feel a little lost is all... And this New identity... Will it work?"
"Trust me. You Don't want people knowing your an Alien Kara... From now on your Linda Lang. My cousin form out of town. Way out of town."
The girls Giggle.
"My Mom made sure to enroll you up on all your classes, but your still behind. So you better scoot!"
*Lana pushes a reluctant Linda to the doors.*
"You'll be fine, Linda! Good luck! And don't forget your Glasses!"
*Lana Tosses her a pair!*
*She waves her off as, Linda adjusts her glasses and walk into the school for the every first time.

*Chris was getting uncomfortable. This was a private moment for them.*
Um..I feel like I'm intruding on a private moment. I'll be over at Mr. Allen's if you need me.
*Chris planted a kiss on Cassie's cheek. He went down the hall and grabbed the evidence he found at the burnt out mansion. Hopefully, Mr. Allen would help. Chris headed over to the Science building and knocked on the door to Mr. Allen's office.*

Wallace frowned, "You sure?" He found it really hard to believe. "Hart...?" He reached out to touch his hand, really quickly.

Helena looks at the shell.. and smiled.. She was flattered that Achilles considered her family. Helena knew immediately what the shell meant. Helena then hugged Achilles.
" You are very gracious and noble. But please try not to get yourself into to much trouble.I take it you will join us then for the feast in November..?'
Cassie looked at her mom and then at Achilles.
" It's an national holiday.. Thanksgiving. Everyone gets together, eats alot of food, and hangs out.."

He looked at Teddy and Billy, same quiet expression.
"I'm going to fix this."

Very neatly and carefully, Teddy flipped Billy back over his shoulder and deposited him back on the floor, handing him his laptop. He nipped his ear, then looked from Wallace, to Hartley, and then to the top of Billy's head. Were they interrupting something? "Babe, can you do me a favor?"

Achilles looked at Cassie as she explained what this 'feast' was that her mother had invited him to and he blinked his surprise.
"I admit surprise. You do have far more holidays in this age than I did. I understand the eating part."
He smiled and gave Cassie a wink. She knew about her brother's voracious appetite, having left many a buffet in town void of remnants, but did her mom know what she just got herself into in inviting him to a meal?
"The rest you might have to explain to me."

Wallace took a step back in shock, and he looked as if he'd been slapped. Was this the same Hartley who had been his co-conspirator a few weeks ago? It couldn't possibly be, right? That Hartley had been really fun, and it'd been someone he'd been interested in, but he hadn't known if he was out of the closet yet. "Fine then...I was going to ask you on a date, but ..." Wallace shrugged, then turned and went back to his room, leaving an empty milk carton in his wake.

Teddy watched them for a few moments, his arms wrapping tight around Billy, his chin resting on his shoulder. He leaned back on his heels just a little, using his boyfriend for balance. Awww...they were totally interrupting a mome-- oh wow. That was ...well s**t. He didn't even feel the creepy gaze on him as he watched Wallace walk off down the hallway. "Bro!" he said, cuffing Hartley on the arm, "What the heck?!" He didn't know what exactly to do at this point. "I dunno about you Hartley, I really don't. You can't even let people be nice to you. When they are, you just turn around and crush them. It's ******** up."
He turned his attention back to Billy. "Well babe, when it's uh, less awkward...could you walk on my back and crack it?"

Billy frowned at what he just saw occur between Hartley and Wallace. He wasn't sure how he felt about either one but he damn sure saw the sting in Wallace's eyes when Hartley acted the way he did, and he could tell Hartley was hurting, whether he wanted to admit it or not.
"Yeah..I can do that." He answered Teddy's question, then he turned his gaze to Hartley and his words were for Teddy only. "Could you excuse us Teddy? I'd like to have a word with Hartley here. Go check on Wallace."

Hartley walked into his room and locked the door, not even realizing he left his flute case laying on the ground in the hallway.

Ker-flop.
Wallace collapsed face-first on the bed, burying his face in the pillow.
It wasn't that he'd been turned down that had hurt him, even though it was a shock, it was the fact that he'd been turned down by someone he had actually kind of liked.
That stung.

Not that it mattered, Hartley seemed to have felt that he was better off without talking to anyone. Whatever. He'd tried, and right now, he was kind of pissed about what he'd done to Wallace.
Of course, that was when he'd noticed that he left his little horn outside the door. Arching an eyebrow, he picked it up, and leaving Billy to have his little chat, he headed back down to his dorm room.
