"When am I not troubled, Nadea?" he asked in a fairly humerous tone. It was ment as a rhetorical question. Not a day went by when Shadow was not troubled by something. "Where dose the time go?" he asked with a sigh as he leaned into the back of his chair.

She chuckled softly, "It goes out the window and is lost in the winds, like all the sands of time." she said with a smile. "Only on more hour...i didn't think i'd be nervous about leaving. Which i'm not...i just hate causing unnecessary pain to the ones i cherish." her eyes were cast down and lost in thought.

Satsuki was shocked slightly before she looked up at the sky and said "I was right i shouldnt let my emotions be so visible around here" she said in almost a wisper feeling a bit embaresed.

"Even us imortals have troubles with time it seems." he said as he let out a small sigh. 'One hour and thats all.' he thought as Nadea spoke. In that time he will loose another person. His wife was gone, his student was away living her life now, Cassidy was in a coma. He only had Nadea and Malice left and he was about to loose Nadea. "You are causing no one here pain. They will never know what has happened to you." he said quietly.

Nadea turned her snowy gaze to him, "I am causing you pain..." she said softly as she placed an icy finger under his chin and lifted his head up lightly. "I couldn't lie to you....i couldn't tell you i was going on a vacation. I could never lie to you....i would never lie to you." she smiled reassuringly as she withdrew her finger from his chin.

Satsuki shrugged again and said "If thats true then heres this...I feel like im defiying my destiny being here... i was always told i would never find a home and yet here i am... with a place i call home and people i call friends.." She said before saying "Eh forget what i just said... i have a habbit blabering on and on and on like i am now" She said not taking her eyes from the stars.

Shadow looked over to Nadea. "I am use to pain now so do not worry about it.." he said with a forced smile. He had to think of some reason for her absance to tell the others that knew her, it had to be a good one to. "I do apreiciate that you told me Nadea. I really do." he said as he lit a cig, taking a long draw when he finished speaking.

She smiled, "You were the only one i needed to tell...you're the one that knows me best." she chuckled again as she got up, her bare feet making no sound as they padded across the wooden floor to the bar. She grabbed a bottle of whiskey and some shot glasses, "How about a drink...to remember the good times." she suggested as she sat back down.

"I know you the best because you were always around at the right time. Always when I needed you." he said with a small laugh as she got up and walked off to the bar. "Drinking sounds good, for the old days." he said with a smile and a nod. He was going to miss Nadea like he missed all his old close friends. He would never forget her and had one thing to do before Nadea left for good. He just had to wait for the right time.

Nadea smiled softly as she sat on the soft persian rug in front of him, her legs folded easily under her. She poured whiskey into a glass and handed it to him before pouring her own, "Cheers..." she smiled and raised her glass up.

Shadow took the glass from Nadea. "Cheers," he said as he leaned forward and tapped his glass against hers. He then quickly downed the wiskey, the flavour was good but the burn was better. He would miss this, he didn't drink wiskey with anyone else.

Nadea shivered slightly as the firey liquid hit her stomach, "Whoa...i'll take another!" she laughed lightly and poured him another glass before she helped herself. She handed the glass back to him, "Everything will be fine Shadow...trust me." she smiled and down her second shot quickly.
