Opening a portal Liada slips out and turns to toss her books and plans back into the portal before closing it. Turning back to face the bar she sees Kat and Draa and beams up cheerfully. blaugh Hey guys what's-!? Eh??  She is stunned by the purple bunny since she has yet to see one and goes cutesy on it. AW! Draa got a new girlfriend! She's cute!

*looks up as he thinks over the selection process, trying to figure out how to put it all in order*
Well... first there's narrowing the field to the better looking of the group. Certain aesthetic flaws can be overlooked if they turn out to not be unbearably annoying in some fashion, such as having a high pitched fake laugh that they use at every opportunity, even when no one says anything funny. *eye twitch* You'd be surprised how many of them do that stare
Then there's testing the waters to see just how comfortable they are going to certain degrees of closeness. Don't want someone who's a little -too- comfortable early on as they're more likely to have some sort of disease stare ... either that or they're just trying to make their boyfriend, who they conveniently forgot to mention rolleyes , jealous.
After that, it can sometimes take a bit to ease them into the idea of spending the night. Bringing it up too soon will always end in rejection, unless of course they are one of those who are a little "too comfortable".
*picks up his drink and is about to take a sip when he hears Liada*
stressed If you like her so much, you can have her scream
*snatches the prunny up by the scruff of her neck and plops her down on the floor*

She waved at Liada as she listened to Draa's explanation and was about to greet her when Draa dropped the bunny on the floor.
"Draa! Be nice to that poor bunny! scream If Leko was here, she'd be lecturing you about sensitive hearts and all that. stressed "

Liada gasped as Draa dropped the prunny unceremoniously and she went to cuddle it.  Oh you poor thing, he's such a butthead isn't he-??  She gets cut off when the prunny jumps out of her arms pushing its tail in her face and onto Draa's head attempting to get comfy. Well never mind then. Seems she prefers you and your brutality.  She sighs and goes behind the bar to make herself a drink. Pulling out the vodka and midori she turns her head back to Kat. So what's new with you hun?

She turned her attention to Liada and smiled.
"Oh, not too much. What's new with you? biggrin " She laughed a bit nervously...she wasn't about to mention her date with Hauk in front of Draa. She would wait and tell Liada once he decided to go back to IR or leave.

Once she finished her drink she turned and leaned on the bar looking over to Draa with the prunny in tow. Well if she's that into you, you may as well convert to bestiality. Or is it just plain mating since you're a grunny technically?  Sipping her drink she smiles at Kat.  Oh been real busy in the lab today with Anira. She's been growing some special herbs in our greenhouse to see what kind of effects we can get for the potions and some new possible fashion line to start with. Once we get all the kinks out I'm gonna ask Psy if she wants to try one out. I think she'll be more than happy to oblige. Although for some reason Anira was grinning like a cat who ate the canary. Couldn't help wonde-....wait....something's different about you.

She made a face at Draa and sipped her drink. "I haven't done anything to look different, so I'm not sure what you're talking about, Liada.  Wonder what Anira was grinning ab-..about." Her voice trailed off and she mentally facepalmed. Hauk was headed back to the Den before heading out for the day to go check on some items he'd commissioned. He must have talked to Anira. stressed

She narrows her eyes at Kat, getting a sense that she was starting to get nervous.  Yea....Draa has a point. You usually get grumpy around the elf without breaking a sweat. She jumped over the bar next to the red head and grabbed her bye the shoulders leaning in close to examine her face. Her fox ears could hear her heartbeat start to race and she took a whiff around her neck.  You smell different too....Liada's eyes glowed a soft violet around the iris's feeling out her aura. After a moment she jumped back from Kat and pointed at her letting out a high pitched gasp of shock.   Y-y-yo-you did it!!!!

She jumped some in her seat when Liada shouted. It was embarrassing enough having her peer at her and sniff her.
She took a deep breath, exhaled and took a sip of her drink to fortify herself. There was no way in hell she was admitting to anything while Draa was around. stressed She arched an eyebrow at Liada and gave her a questioning look.
"I usually get grumpy around Draa because he's an a**. rolleyes But then, everyone is aware of that, the exception being the purple bunny there."

Ignoring Draa in all her excitement Liada went to hug Kat. Her tail wagged in a fast pace as she jumped up and down. Oh my god!! I mean I know this was gonna happen sooner or later but I just can't believe you FINALLY SL-AAAH!  Owie owie owie!!!!  Liada was cut off short as Kat quickly grabbed Liada by the end of her tail and dragged her into the office and slamming the door shut before she could get another word edgewise out in front of Draa. What you do THAT for!?! crying She cradled her poor tail in her hands once it was released from Kat vise like grip and her ears fell flat on her head.

She felt somewhat bad for dragging Liada by her tail into the office, but she didn't know of a way to keep her friend from blurting out what had happened last night.
"I'm sorry, but I really didn't want you saying what you were about to say in front of Draa. sweatdrop I..I didn't hurt you too terribly much did I? sad "
