Bakasensei Cross Chloe Lockheart Bakasensei Cross Chloe Lockheart Bakasensei Cross Chloe Lockheart Chloe's mind blanked for a bit then she came back to her senses when Cross backed up a bit. Her heart was beating a bit faster now and she gulps a bit. She was pretty nervous actually, and something in the depths of her conciousness was eating at her...still thinking about...No...she didn't want to think about...that.
"C...Cross?" she asks nervously, wondering why he pulled back...normally, he would have kissed her, but it seems like there's something on his mind.((@Domo: I know how that feels.....and I fawking hate it as well.....D; My dad's side of the family likes to talk s**t to me and my mom and brother behind my dad's back....I dun like them. >_>; *huggles Domo* ))
He shook his head a bit,"I'm sorry," he apologized, starting to get up. It wasn't the time to be making moves on her. She was probably still pining over Daisya a bit, and he didn't want to manipulate her while she was down. He didn't feel it was manipulating her, but he thought she might feel that way.
It should be done properly...
"Cross....I..should be the one apologizing...I..." She sighs afterwards, hard to think of what she was going to say. She got up as well, looking away from him, feeling a small pang of guilt and stares a bit into the ground, at the books.
She sighs a bit before saying, "I..Is that...the book?" she spoke out softly, almost as if she was afraid to break his thoughts.
((Time for me to take my leave. Night night. ^^))
He nodded slightly. He gripped the cover tightly for a moment before sighing and opening it. Instead of there being pages of words inside, a small square compartment had been cut out of the center. Inside of it, something glistened. He reached his hand to the small compartment, taking out the object with care. He closed his hand around it and snapped the book shut, throwing it to the ground. He opened his hand and pushed the object gently around on his palm. When he moved his hand out of the way, the object was revealed. It was a small locket, shaped like a heart, made of pristine gold, with a thin golden chain coiled up around it. He let out a very small sigh, staring at it.
"I...its beautiful.." she breathes out softly, still looking at the locket.
