speaking of designs, I'm thinking of entering again for the Costume contest. Any ideas? I'm trying to think of what type of items Barton Boutique doesn't already have stocked.. should I try for a one-piece outfit? Like a suit? Or try and enter a few individual pieces like gloves and headbands or something? I'm not really sure where to go with this one..

Lol, it's okay. I'm not going to be asspained over it 'cause it's just a Gaia username. It'll make more sense when my plans for Waffle in the RP are carried out.
It's taken from a scientific name of an herb and I'm no expert in Latin, so I don't really care. I pronounce it as 'm + air + ua (as in 'oo + a' or 'ah') ', but 'may + rua' and 'migh (as in 'might' without the 't') + rua' are fine too.

Well, Gorgeous, I'm thinking you could do an Undead Mobster theme!. . Or maybe just a Mobster look with blood spatter on the clothes! :3 But, as you know I'm also a fan of the Goth fashion! It has been a great day! I was done with classes by lunch! I got a job offer! I'm going to the first scrimmage of my high school tonight! My friend's gonna spend the night tonight~
Eh.. I dunno, Gaia already has quite a bit of rockabilly/zoot suit/mobster related things.. I don't think I can really come up with anything original enough to stand out.

The way I see it, the classics help you appreciate modern day film a little more. Plus, it gives you an idea as to what people back in the day thought was REAL entertainment. Not to mention you get an insight of what fashion was back then, and on top of that History. If you know the film, what year it was made, you can then know what else was going on at that time. So many wonderful things about old movies. I love the details, and not to mention how well most of it was written- Like the Original "House on Haunted Hill" (I'd be Vincent Price's ragdoll ANY DAY. . . if only he were alive now D; ) [/Fanboying]

Don't you EVER doubt yourself. EVER! emotion_donotwant And honestly, Gaia doesn't have enough of those things. Sure, it's there. . but there's not enough, in my opinion.
Another thing you could do is: Create proper cosplay items for Gaia, perhaps? People would love your idea, and you'd be happy with doing what you know, and I know that people who love to Cosplay (and we both know that there's A LOT of people who do) would love your idea. . . I've seen you make things yours- Like, putting your own creative spin on things. I personally love your ideas, and I know that when / if you enter the contest it'll be an amazing entry. Personally, I loved your last entry. . . Do they take re-submissions? Because your pants entry would make a costume look VERY lovely!
When you put it that way, my dislike of classics makes me seem unethical. xDDD

Mm.. I don't know if they would accept a re-submission, but I'd rather do something new anyway. I think I have until October 1st to submit something. I was thinking I might try to make a nice jacket or something, I'm really not sure.
Edit: Also, I kind of love my current avatar, lol. I really want to make myself a cape for the real world and walk around looking fabulous and calling everyone else on the street peasants because I have a cape and look like a prince and maybe I'm just a little crazy but it'd still be fun. ....I just wish it were cold here. We've been getting thunder storms lately which means heat and humidity and it's just not Fall enough for me and I miss cold weather so bad oh that reminds me I had a Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks since they released them for the season again~

I'm a huge fan of pumpkin. I make pumpkin cookies, and sweet pumpkin rolls, and I get pumpkin lattes and I just really love it<3
D: I'm jealous you got a cold front... I only get heat and humidity for weeks lol! I doubt I actually will do anything like that, I'm far too camera shy, and just shy in general. I don't like going outside and being around people...

biggrin Foxi and I went to Disneyland today~ ...almost all the rides were close though, lol.. I think they're getting everything ready for the seasonal changes [Haunted Masion -> Nightmare Before Christmas and whatnot.] But, we had a bunch of fun and got to see the Live Action Aladin show they had. It was basically like.. a 45 minute broadway version of the movie, and it was amazing and made my soul happy.

This new RIG is totally making me want to get our super hero RP up and running again.. o; I miss it a lot, because I was having fun with the characters. We just never picked up enough steam to really get anywhere... which is sort of how I feel about the Avatar RP too...
And no fair!! I would love to go see a show like that! I once saw a Lion King performance at Disney World like 10 years ago, but that's too long to really remember. Instead, I'm stuck here with nothing to do but laundry and work and college bleh.emo
@ RPs: I think everything needs a bit of a push. We always start strong, then people get busy and fade, or the storyline just stops and is filler for a while.
