Wantcookie WylrPnufh Wantcookie WylrPnufh Tried again to trade via WiFi. Didn't work Aniu needs to get Black and get home so I can evolve my Kadabra. >=( XD ...I can help, if you like. Nah, my WiFi wont connect to anyone. D= Which is why I'm hesitant to get MH3 Is the online play like a One-on-one thing like... Brawl? Or is it a group thing, like... Racing randoms online in MK? First one doesn't work for me, lattter does. >_< Sorry to hear. My home wifi's security is such that it blocks out DSLites and Phats, but can be accessed by DSi and Wii. So... Up to four people can be in one room at once, and there's no real Friend Code system. If your wifi can connect to that, it's worth it. If not, it's not really worth playing. xd I mean... there's no way to CHECK that, is there? Just hope I'm lucky? I mean, I think Gamestop's return policy on Used games is trade-in value at best. Maybe if I ask, and explain my situation. One of the employees likes me there... the other two don't. It's not that they don't like ME, they're just mean. >=(

If no one minds taking a minute, to answer a few questions about MH3? I've looked it up a little, but I just want a few things I don't understand answered .
-What's the game objective? There's a storyline, and online play? And the online play doesn't really have one? Just kill things and get things to kill more things? Is there a level-up system... or... how do you know when you're better? xD
-What's the fighting system like? Turn Based? Free-Roaming battle?
-What's the item system like? I noticed Armors, Weapons, etc. So, you kill monsters, and they drop items, with which you make more items? Armor/Shields/Swords, and stuff of the like? Is it a crafitng system? (2 of item X plus 3 of item Y plus 1 of item Z = Armor) or do monsters drop items to use? (FF style, where dragon B drops sword C)
-Most characters I've seen are different. How customizable is the character? I mean, armors/swords, sure? But Gender? Are there different classes? Or are you like "M/F base: Then get armor/swords, etc"
And lastly, the controls, Is it waving around the wiimote to attack, or can I use the classic/joysticks/buttons, etc?
I'm sorry for all the questions, I just like to know what I'm getting into with this game.

It doesn't use a level system, the only thing you can level up is weapons and armor, the rest is preperation for whatever you are facing.
It's a free roaming battle system
You can buy the weapons/armor aswell as craft items, also you get potions and meat. To get the materials to craft it depends on the materials some you mine others you can gather from certain areas and also you gather from beasts you have slain. Other items are traps, and various other items useful for tracking and disorientating the target.
I can't remember how many faces, hairstyles etc. you have but you can customise the voice he/she has although it's mostly going to be like link when he attacks. The class depends on the weapon you want to wield really.
You can use the wiimote and nunchuck to control the character, some attacks with this control method requires movement from the wiimote, but you can also use the a button. You can use the classic controller aswell

No where else does rentals. I'll just try it. Apparently game stop used games can return for ANY REASON for store credit any time in 7 days. I'll use the store credit. Also, I need to fix that Domo in your sig, LPS. I'll get around to it, soon. There's two little light patches of Brown, and it kills me. >_<

That works just as well. xd I hope you don't have to, though.

Oh, Wylr, the game has a very large learning curve. I think large is the right word. Anyways, you'll know you've gotten better when certain monsters stop kicking your a**. :3 You 'level up', not your character.
The game seems really hard when you're alone, but becomes almost hilariously easy with three more decent players. p:
