An account is free to make, and you can even browse the site and make your account with English pages. So long as you have a Visa or Mastercard then you can shop there. From what I see in the FAQ though, only CDs, DVDs, and books will be shipped outside of Japan. Everything else is restricted to stay in there.
Which is fine with me, cause I'm just on it for the manga, anime and OSTs.
xd Edit: Everything seems to be of a higher price after money conversion, when compared to typical American prices. (Dang rising and falling values of money.
gonk ) An anime DVD from Japan seems to be about USD$50, give or take a few, before any other charges occur, whereas over here we're used to paying $20,
possibly $30.
I guess the typical Japanese paycheck just is stronger for their own economy (which makes perfect sense) whereas our dollar is weak as crap.
