I think (maybe) I'll get on that (when I'm done with the myriad other things I have to do this week and whenever.)
...In other words, I'll get around to it if I can. =D

S'okay Hana...new places are always scary at first, but then you get used to them. My cousin had the same feelings when she moved to her apartment, but now she loves it. 3nodding

@Hana: You'll be fine, Hana. Let us know how things go once things settle down.
@Mabo: Dual monitors definitely is useful; I have dual monitors at work, and definitely appreciate the ability to spread out what you're working on, like you would on a big table.

So I finally buckled down and started to work on a project I've been putting off for a while....the Fire Emblem-ification of all MOST of the RPers.
Almost completely done! ...that is, until GIMP decided to crash when I started working on Lorika's sprite. JUST FINE for the last 20 or so sprites...meh, I need a break anyway.
Characters yet-undone: Coline (using Cavalier....color map is all screwy because of the horse) Evelyn (Same issue with the horse) Panda (Because I don't know which sprite to edit, and all my choices are very complex) Feline (How in the hell do I add the wings and ears? Then again, Mages have hoods....) Lorika (GIMP crashed :/) Total (Actually planning on doing him next, though I don't think the Bard sprite is organized very well) Storm (Same issue with the ears, kinda)
Characters Finished: Aru Harata Alexi Bapp Hawkeye Blue Jessie Hawk Meta Odin Oro Sta Xeiashi
Anyone know who I am missing? I'd like to have a near-complete set of blatantly plagarized CLEVERLY RECOLORED sprites for TBO. And then they shall swarm the posts of all that oppose me
And the dual-monitors are making this DOZENS of times easier than it was when I first tried it. Also, though she probably doesn't have internet yet...
HANA, HOW HAS THE MOVING GONE? WE WANT DETAILS! , AND FUNNEHS!

You're a sprite artist, Mabo? hmm... I'll have to remember that...
Can you fill us in on this neglected project? It sounds quite interesting.

Not quite a sprite artist....I just know how to edit color maps and individual frames...on a related note, Harata was a pain in the a** to make. Both sprites needed a haircut. Anyway, back when I was playing Fire Emblem like a madmab, I decided that it would be cool to turn the RP characters into the Fire Emblem sprites...from there, I had a vague inkling of hacking a ROM with edited maps, text, etc., and making a custom game for TBO...but I do not know enough coding to do that part (maybe edit the tile data or something? Iunno), so I stuck with sprites. Maybe not even then, as some of the ones I found online have extremely messed up frame-timing, and it makes them look like crap. (especially the bishops and shamans) Actually, This was my first attempt. Nothing fancy, just a color map switch of the default animation...little did I know, this was the easy part. All finished sprites will eventually find their way to my dA page, as I have no clue where else they could go for all eternity.

It's warms my heart to see this place still up and running. Of course why wouldn't it be? I may be a lazy bum and a bad member for how inactive I've been, but everybody here is just awesome. What's really sad is that I have no excuse to not drop by at least once a week, if not more.
As for what brings me back here, well it is October which means the Halloween event is coming up, thus I'll do my best to be more active for it and till after Christmas. The other reason is because I came back from Anime Weekend Atlanta. DJ. Hellsing says hey, and most of the stuff I have to tell from the pre-view I got is more stuff for zOMG! and Monster Galaxy. And yes the fact it's like Pokemon was brought up... a lot.
Other then that I missed you all!

Wow holy fudgemissiles with cream cheese and pie on top I've missed so much! This is what happens when school once again ties you up and locks you in the cupboard for a week and a half. Or so.
Hey Dart!! How've ya been?
@Mab: Yay sprites! ^^ Deviantart is just fine...and awesome at that. 3nodding
