Mizu and I are on the San Andreas fault, so yea.

Earthquakes just seem to be really rare over here (at least the ones yu can feel). I think we had like 2 noticeable ones last year and that was it.

I have only ever felt one earthquake where I am. It wasn't very big either. Just a slight rumbling for a few minutes. Really there aren't a lot of natural disasters that I ever have to worry about. I am very lucky. Still if the New Madrid decides to act up I am in a really bad spot.

You should definitely get some plane tickets and be on the lookout. That is not how I would wanna go.

I love quoting. It's like tagging. It gets people's attentions in case they'd otherwise not see it. >_<

Anyway, Hash, if you want to level grind those last 5 levels easily, here's how you do it:
Find a patch of grass. The highest level'd patch of grass you can access.
Buy a ******** of repels.
Ride back and forth and back and forth, (I make sure the grass goes out of the screen when I pass it - this probably isn't necessary)
See a shaking spot.
Use repel so nothing else gets you; go to shaking spot.
Fight Tabunne.
Tabunne has GREAT exp gain.
Especially if you put on the Lucky Egg Juniper gives you.

That's how I went from like... 42-49ish.

cool Anyway, Battle Subway-ing. I always get to match 19. >_< and then die.

By all rights, that Earthquake should have decimated the country, considering an 8.9 is one of the highest recorded. The Japanese just have some ******** talented architects who make sure their buildings can weather this s**t.

Elesa is such a c**t. Her stupid adorable Emolga. Even an 8.9 couldn't hit this t**t because they're flying. D: And everytime I use Smack Down, she uses Volt Switch so they're flying again. I hate electric gyms. I remember Wattson was such a pain in the a** too. At least here I can find a decent ground type.

Yeah, my Mom called me about the Earthquake and Tsunami hitting Japan and Hawaii.

Watching some videos right now. Saw a Japanese oil refinery in flames, and a supermarket and office building shaking like crazy. Read that about 200 to 300 victims have been confirmed so far. I've now come across a live broadcast by BBC. Obama was making a speech about it, about the U.S. offering some aid, along with some cutaways of boats getting washed inland and my God, there's so much water on the coast and villages getting wiped out, holy s**t and this is just Japan. I haven't read anything about Hawaii yet.

I'm not religious, but I do offer deep condolences for affected families. If there's a charity or aid program going on, I'd be happy to donate.

Also, some of the aftermath might hit the California coast I hear. My mom said I might see big waves along the Monterey Bay Coast tomorrow, but I think she might be worrying a bit too much.

Remember Haiti? That was only a 7.0. This registered 8.9.

Oh God, sometimes I hate people.

I've been reading the comments section of one of the sites giving news of all this.

Comments range from the occasional condolences for victims to:

- Saying Japan deserves it because they've been hunting and murdering marine animals for eons and it's about time nature lashed back at them.

- People hating on the U.S. and calling us hypocrites for offering aid after we bombed Nagasaki and Hiroshima...which was like more than 66 years ago.

- Religious nuts saying this is a sign of world end.

Wasn't Med pushing really hard for us to stop talking about Pokemon in this thread? All of a sudden an earthquake hits Japan, no more pokemon talk.

Thanks a lot Med, just because Pokemon came from Japan doesn't mean you have to use Earthquake on it. =|
