Alef looked back to the monster, and shuddered at the sounds being emitted from it's attacks. She had no desire to be involved in this fight, that being the reason she seemed to so easily ignore it. She turned her attention back to the man on the ground, and shrugged a little. "Fights do occur often, but not like this... Not with monsters like this..." She said, looking to everyone around. It was odd not to see Solumone with a light smile on his face, leading her to think that this really was worse than how she was reacting to it. She also found it a very odd time to be introducing herself among the chaos. "My name is Alef, so you know should you wish to adress me as such, but it seems odd that we are quite excluded from the events going on..."

Scytheress stared back toward the beast, awaiting its move, believing herself prepared for anything he could possibly throw at her from this distance. She was beginning to smile as she felt the great mass of energy swelling within Citedal and continued her smirk even as the large beam raced toward her small form. What offset her however wasn't the attack itself but what she saw within it. There were...images...all of different beings...people...things. Some screaming out others runnings...There were angels as well as beasts...and encompassing it all was the face of a woman with flowing white hair with a single silver eye upon her face. She had no mouth no nose, nothing other to distiguish her but that eye...Scytheress watched this, all of it, but it was fragmented. Only bits a pieces of this story shown through to her gaze while other images more obscure and derranged than these were interspersed. But that silver eye always remained.
Great effort was placed into a strong beat of the ten wings on Scytheress's back to shoot her into the air above this massive attack, but the girl's eyes seemed vacant. The beam raced by under her as her wings took up a steady pace to hold her aloft. Scytheress shook her head trying to clear the vague and dismembered images from her head. Believing herself fine once again she turned her eyes to Citedal with a deep glare.

She infact was nearby, her camera in hand. Seyla was taking pictures of the foliage. Each leaf was like a mossaic tile, and when they were all pieced together they created a beautiful image. She had lived all over in her life with a father in the military. But by far this had been the best place to watch the leaves change colors. Her thoughts drifted. What was it like to be a leaf? To be born, only to go through a metamorphisis of sorts and wither up and die. In a way it was like a shorted cycle of human life. One is born young and healthy, and as they grow their appearance changes, their color then begins to fade as age creeps up on them, and then finally they simply fall from the branch, only to be stepped on by passerbys.
As Seyla raised her camera to her eye once again she saw someone within the view. Down the courtyard path stood Zero. It would make a rather intriguing and beautiful image, so she snapped a few shots. She stood back so that the trees seemed to canopy over the walkways, their leaves scattered about, and on the bottom right hand corner was Zero. He wasn't facing her and it all seemed so natural. A smile graced her features as she finally put her camera down and called it a day.
Walking down the leave strewn paths it was hard for Seyla to contain her excitement. She hadn't seen her boyfriend for some time and now just seemed so perfect. It was in the upper 60's at the moment so a jean jacket hugged Seyla's form. A pair of cream colored pants and some dark brown shoes completed the ensemble, with a scarf for an added touch. Soon she broke into a jog, careful that the camera hanging around her neck didn't fall and break. Her footfalls echoed on the stone walkways, yet were hidden by the gentle winds that swept through the area.
"Zero.." she said softly from behind him. She had finally caught up to him and now was waiting for him to turn around. It had been too long since they last saw one another, not to mention had a conversation. A thought passed through her mind. The halloween dance was coming up. Surely he would like to go with her? Maybe it was time that she ask him to go.

"I see..Pity." The man said, then he sighed. "On a better day, I might actually like to join in the fray..But I just joined today, and I have no intrest in doing much today." he chuckled and then leaned back. Alef telling him her name didn't seem to register at the moment, or perhaps it did. He waited a moment, watching Citadel and the other fighters, before looking over at her and saying "Alef. Interesting name. Mine is Ekail. Although anyone who knows me prefers "Oh god it's him run!"." to which he gave a slightly sad smile, then returned to watching the fight.

Alef nodded a little as he spoke, to show that she was indeed listening to what he was saying. On any other circumstance, she may have laughed at his comment, but seeing the way he presented it; she frowned a little. "It is nice to meet you Ekail." She said, letting the frown fade from her face, into a more friendly smile. It had been awhile since she had been around, always being busy, but it was nice to sit down for awhile and simply watch what was going on. Even if it wasn't something you would just sit idly by and watch.

She watched him spin around, his book returning to its home in his coat pocket. When he smiled she thought she would simply melt, and his eyes...they just seemed to be so bright, so beautiful. His arms wrapped around her and she was pulled against his form. Seyla suddenly felt all of the heat he was radiating, and it was rather pleasant.
Her eyes travelled up to meet his own as she sported a smirk. His comment was cute, and rather humorous, she would give him that.
"I don't know stranger, it seems like I've known you all of my life" she had replied, with an equal tone of sarcasm. It was then that Seyla felt his lips press against her own. He was gentle and she seemed to float up above the clouds for a moment. She knew she would come crashing down and moment know, just like those leaves were destined to die within the next month. But she couldn't help it, she still lingered on.
Her fingers delicately traced his spine as she raced them up to his neck. Wrapping her arms around his shoulders, she smiled through the kiss. Her fingers now finding their way into his hair, playfully running through it, with a soft caress or two.

the feeling of her hands running up spine casued him smile and laugths as he places his forehead on her forehead gently. he stares gently througth her bangs and smiles. the fact that his right arm suffered a rebound a few weeks before didnt matter and the pain seemed to melt away. "hello. m'lady" he says formally and kindly as he stares in to her eyes, so beautiful and clam " it has been quite a time since i last held you in my arms seyla...i missed you..." he said still holding her gently and close to him in the fall night and smiled.

He had broken away from there kiss and both of there eyes met. Her smile matched his own as she felt her forehead rest against his.
"No need to be so kind sir." she replied to his generosity. The surroundings seemed to drift away for a moment till there was nothing but themselves. Just Seyla and Zero. Nothing more, nothing less. He was right, it had been two long since they had seen one another. How could she have let that happen? But that was the effect school work had on someone. They could simply dissapear so quickly because of it.
Her mind had been lingering on her father before, and asking him permission to stay here at Ria. Although she was still hesitant, she was gaining more confidence by the day. Now all she had to do was argue and stand up to the man she had never stood up to before in her life. Was she really up to that? Could she do it? She wasn't so sure that she could. But at the moment none of that matter and she brought her attention back to him, back to Zero.
"Say Zero...there's a Halloween Dance coming up soon and I wanted to know if you'd like to go with me?" she inquired of him. Her voice was calm, hiding her nervousness. She knew he would say yes, unless he had other obligations. He had to didn't he? After all she was his girlfriend.

Her eyes lit up at his response. Sure she knew he would say yes but that couldn't stop her from being happy now could it. She smiled and did a littled jump. "Really? You mean it?" she asked enthusiastically. Of course he meant it! She was being so childish! She brought herself to kiss him once again, this time it was only a quick kiss upon his lips though.
Bringing her hand down, she laced it within his own and then turned to him. "Lets walk, and we can figure out costumes as we do so okay?" she suggested. To be honest she was perfectly alright if he didn't want to dress up. But asking never hurt anyone now did it?

She happilly accepted his kiss as they walked hand in hand. He seemed to have trouble finding the words to say though as they strolled down the stone path. Hmm it seemed he didn't know what Halloween was.
"Oh well let me explain," she began,"Halloween is the night of October 31st. All over the world people dress up in costumes, and go what is called trick or treating. You ring the doorbell to someone's home, say "Trick or Treat" and they give you candy. At then end of the night you have lots of candy." At this she smiled and did a little spin with excitement. "For the most part vampires, werewolves, and other scary creatures seen in horror movies are associated with Halloween. It takes place at night and is viewed as a fun yet dark Holiday. As you get older you tend to do less trick or treating an more partying. People will hold Halloween parties, or in our school's case a dance. I happen to be planning this one" she admitted with a blush before continuing on.
"So basically we need to find costumes to dress up in for the dance"
