Yes, that is how it goes, but your pain is only temporary. This time he only stole a little bit of your life and this will be restored to you over time but larger chunks or the whole thing wont be recoverable

crazy pulls out a small knife and begins to carve symbols into his hands he closed his eyes tightly to take the pain blood begins to pour over his hand he begins to mutter something in a foreing lauguage he never knew he knew the symbol begins to carve into crazy's skin as he continues his power growing fairly quickly
