The Bludger slammed into Dani's back before she knew it was even there, and she yelped as she felt the customary sensation of having the ribs on her left side snap like twigs under the impact, along with having to hang on for dear life so she wouldn't be blown off the top of her mount. While she clutched her broomstick, she tried hard to ignore the trickles of blood rolling out from under the sleeve of her left arm, and continued to steer her broomstick toward the Snitch. 'One more hit like that, and they'll be peeling off of the pitch when this is done,' she thought grimly, as she closed on her target.

Axel wished he had a scarf to wrap around his neck and lips, but it'd just end up flying off and blinding him or one of his teammates, knowing his rotten luck. Despite the lack of motion in his fingers, he dove in beside Camila for a steal.

Tense muscles clenched his jaw down hard else his teeth would chatter and possibly bite off his icicle tongue, his arms and fingers were stiff and he couldn't feel his toes curling in his shoes anymore, it was just numb. He wanted this game to be over soon, and he hoped Dani would snatch that snitch right out from that little pureblood brat's grasp. But before that, the lions needed another score. His torso swayed first and then his broom as he swooped down into position to steal from Devonte, only waiting for the right opportunity to try and reach out and grab.
