Well, this was starting to look very bad. She was only confidant enough in her skills to get by with, but she certainly never over did it. She never thought of herself above the rest, and never basked in glory of a win.She never needed to learn to fight, but she did so for only one reason, to protect her family! It was never about glory, or showing off the passed down skills of her mother she so clearly had taken pride in. But right now, she was certainly not looking very skilled at all.It was....rather insulting, even. For one as slow as ZANE to be able to handle her, it was beyond humiliating. "Shut up, Zane..! " While he lived in his glory, all the while holding her slightly off the ground in such a awkward, uncomfortable position, he might not expect the moment she would slam the back of her heel into his shin, quite a painful strike, for anyone. He would definitely have a bruise there! Had that worked, and the pain caused him to release her, Layla would waste no time before spinning, and throwing out a harsh kick to his gut, fully intending to send him FLYING back. "Does this count for being Womanhandled, then?!" She threw right back at him, returning to a proper stance to anticipate what his next move might be.

'God, you are the most annoying --- Take this!" And that's when he would feel that not so great impact of her armored boot strike him right in the poor little shin, probably swiping away that irritatingly confidant look on his face, so she hoped! It may of hurt, but it still didn't seem to get him to Shut up! Would her next move silence his overly chatty mouth? He rolled like a rag-doll against the hard floor after her leg sent him flying, and for a moment, Layla had a slightly hopeful look to her own face......until. "...Dear god. If a silence spell only worked the way I wish..." She muttered to herself, shooting a irritated glare at her oh-so-treasured friend! Hard to believe they were childhood friends! "It is now, little Zane..I MADE it a thing. Just for you. " She said, starting to advance towards him again. "This woman is going to wreck you good, Zack is failing his training of you..I'm certain he didn't teach you to be over confidant, that's how you get yourself killed. ....Also............" She raised her fist, as a freezing air would suddenly swirl around his body, he would see his own breath as it got colder, and colder as she used a less harsh version of Ice magic from her materia. While he was distracted with that, hopefully, she would rush for him, her hand going straight for the collar of his shirt to lift him up off the floor! Had that worked, she would slam him right back down intending to knock him into a prolonged daze, and become fearful of what her next move might be against him while he was so rendered helpless, and surrender! Though she had a feeling, it was Zane, he wasn't going to just give up that easily!

"Of course she does. It's Aerith. She's only the kindest woman to exist. " As if she would ever think poorly of her children! She probably was the most dotting, loving and fun mother to ever have. They really did have great parents, there was no doubt about that. Zack, with the biggest heart ever, his positive and fun going nature, yes, they were probably the biggest of the dotting parents that there was. "Keep dreaming about that being true, because it's not! " Finally, she had made her surprisingly CHILLING attack against him, giving her enough time in that moment of his poor freezing little body to pick him up, and send him right back down. With the intense cold, there may be a chance it made that impact with the ground even harsher feeling. But her grave mistake would come when she took for granted he was absolutely unable to move, when clearly, he was, and proved it quite quickly his body wasn't as frozen as she had hoped as her arm was grabbed, pulling her. That certainly caught her by surprise and she was next, falling down to her hands and knees, just as he hoped. Well, her luck wasn't going to last much, was it? He soon had her pinned beneath him, her arms pinned behind her back........

But did he forget about those long, powerful legs of hers again? They were still free to move, and with the harshest jerk back of her leg she could manage in this awkward position, she hoped to strike him as he was pinning her, and really, he was right there, on top of her, it was pretty impossible for her to miss! It all depended on her strength! Would it be powerful enough to send him falling forward and off her?!

"I never said she was, of course. She's great, you're mother on the other hand is on another level of kindness.." She had no complains about her mother of course, they all had great parents, that was very true! "..You do realize Constantine isn't weak! If he was really trying, if you were a true enemy, I can promise you he would bring you down very quickly! " This may or may not have been true, still, she believed in him and that's all that mattered!
As they're little chat came with a swift end, and continued with their almost pathetic little duel, for a moment there it did seem as though Layla was going to lose, when she found her way to kick her legs back, despite her positioning, she was still able to get a good smack into his head with her legs, which seemed to work in her favor, his release and stumble backward gave her a moment to try and get herself back up off the ground, when she caught a glimpse of the glowing fire heading for her almost instantly! "! " Dodging to the side into a roll, Layla was able to avoid the puny little fire magic, as she was just as quick to return to her feet. "Looks don't affect me as they do my sister. You should give up! " She started to rush for him, throwing out a punch to his chest, had that hit, she would turn and swiftly swing her leg into his gut with quite the powerful kick! She COULD of aimed her fist for his pretty face, but that wasn't her style, and it wasn't worth the risk of bruising him, or breaking something!

"Ugh! Why is everything that comes out of your mouth so annoying?! Listen up here, Zane. Constantine isn't your servant, he will never be. If anything, it should be you bowing to him, and apologizing for treating a royal prince so badly! Hmph.." She looked him in the eyes. "That's exactly what you should do, when you lose to me. When you admit defeat, you will get down to your knees, in front of him and offer your most sincere apologies! " Maybe Constantine didn't care for it, but she sure would enjoy the sight of the over confidant one falling to his knees before his foe, begging forgiveness.. "Mmhm, that's the perfect plan. "
And perhaps, that plan might even come right together, had he actually listened to her! Would the great almighty Zane fall so low to listen to her demand upon his loss? He didn't seem to be trying to defeat her, he really was all mouth! "That isn't going to happen, in the end, it'll be me, dominating you!" In battle, of course! Sure enough, he would learn how serious she was when he became the repeated victim of her fists, and kick that would send him colliding onto his back, seeming to have the wind knocked out of him."You see. You already are down, give up now, crawl on those weak little knees of yours, and beg forgiveness to your prince. Do it now!" As he laid there, he would feel the pain of her boot coming down over his chest, just enough to cause a bit of pain, but nothing to serious. "I'm being gentle right now, if you do not agree, I'll have you regretting it very soon! "

"Uh huh.. Those hot Reapers who would love to kill you, please tell me you don't flirt with them to? " Would he be so crazy to do something like that, had he been faced with one? Somehow, she felt like he would! "You still believe I lost to Tina, you really, honestly believe that? " Layla sighed heavily, where did his brains go! As things continued to play out......against Zane, Layla would be the one in the end to claim victory, as painful as that was to her slow friend there! "Mmhm..Just suck up your loss and admit you aren't as amazing as you think, at least, not against Me. " Okay, she could enjoy this moment at least SOME! And she did, as he would feel eventually on his chest, as her foot remained there over it. A rare laughter may of escaped as she looked down at him. "Listen to all that begging..Are you that terrified of me? Then do as I told you, and apologize to Constantine. If you don't, i'll crush you more.." And to emphasize those words, he would feel presure over his chest becoming a bit more intense.
