Chikorita is also my favorite of the Johto starters. I chose Cyndaquil for nostalgia purposes. (That's the one I chose back when I had Silver version) But my favorite starters for each gen... Kanto:  Johto:  Hoenn:  Sinnoh:  Isshu:

Speaking of sibling rivalry, between my Platinum and my bros. Daimond we had over 20 matches against one another. Victory count was overwhelmingly in my favor, but he'd get me occasionaly.
