Actually the games of today are not complex, they not even games, all you do is watch CG movies and complete simple objectives.
After 2 hours you beat the game and think "Wheee time to trade in !"

Yeah good point. stare Most games I've played, except for Final Fantasy X, take like 3 hours.
Wasn't the average time in beating FFX like 60 hours or something? confused

FFX was something like this for me.

Day one: "I love Lulu's boobs, Riku's a** and yuna's personality, but I hate all the male character specially Wakka"

Day Two: "Mmm....why does this feel like I'm about to beat the game..."

Later Day two: "mmm...another game gone down the toilet..."

FF X-2 is not a Final Fantasy is someones fantasy and to tell you the truth, I was like...his is the worse game ever...not to mention all 3 girls look like cheap whores. And not to mention all their sexiness went away...they look more like anorexic "daddy give me money bitches..."

But comming back to the game...mm...I think that game took me like a half a day to beat...not to mention my friend was like "OMG the game is so hard >_< !!!"

Me: "mm...I passed the game with the warrior job only...dunno what is so hard about it..."

Friend: "OMG !!!"

I obtained the 100% ending the first time I passed the game...
With no strategy guides or walkthroughs...

Funny thing to say...the only game that ever took me more than 2 days to pass was GTA: San Andreas. And that was cause I was too entretained doing s**t around to beat the game...

Designing and programing.
I probably try to get a job at Blizzard so I can earn enough to open my own studio. After that I will try to join a few of my friends to create a great game. And Rpg that is not limited by Gold, Experience or Guilds. See I was talking to Julia the other day and I think if I create the game I will go with Chibi cute sprites that have sexy details and lots of s**t to customize them. That would be the first step, the second step would be a huge world that is not limited by your character strength. So far I think the only hard part will be the AI, but if I can use something similar to Fire emblem 4. It shall be done in no time =D.

No time? Good luck with that. A game like that will take a designing stage of more than 4 months, then you have the programming and level c reation stages that are about 2 years, then you have the finishing touches which will be about 2 months.
So, in total, it'll take about 2 and 1/2 years. You're not the only one interested in game design. I'm thinking of going to college for it too.

Actually it will probably take me more. Since I'm planning on making customization the real base of the game. I want to create a game where you can choose from the way your character holds the sword to the way he/she swings it. Sames go for all other weapons. That is way I'm going with little chibi sprites. They are detailed, have sexy movements and over all don't need the billions of pixels a damn 3d character needs. By doing this I attack all markets:

Parents: "Is cute my son can play this"
Girls: "CUTENESS !!!"
Otakus: "ANIME !!!"
Hard core gamers: "Crap so many game hours !!!"
Adolescents and up: "Is like WoW but better !!"

XD I been collecting data on what people wants actually, since all my friends tend to play all kind of online games from FF XI to WoW to DoA in X-Box life XD.
